Short stay over 2022/2023 New Year holiday weekend. Location was ok, about 10 minutes walk from a MRT station. Hotel was packed during the stay, the lobby, overcrowded small breakfast lounge and most places were too small to accommodate if there were more than a few guests at one time. The food during breakfast was very nice for me, and the staff were busy preparing and refilling the food that got finished very quickly. Most of the staff were ok, but would not interact or or help much; probably due to the amount of workload. The rooms were decent to good. Price was average to high, but also due to holiday period. One biggest unpleasantness was during check-out, with a crowded lobby and staff seemingly very eager for me to leave immediately after return of room card. No chance of leaving any baggage till later part of the day, and I got spot-checked and shooed immediately by the guard when I put down my bag to take my belongings, the moment I stepped out of the hotel entrance. The check-out experience and overcrowding during full occupancy, was unpleasant for a probably ok hotel.

It's about a 10-minute walk from the MRT station nearby. There is a convenience store nearby There are Xingjudian and Meow Store Manager nearby to hold dolls There is QTIME nearby, which is very convenient if you suddenly need to work.

The transportation is convenient (5 minutes from Exit 1 of Da'an MRT Station), the room type is novel and clean, and the service staff is friendly and professional. I have stayed here many times and I still want to choose this hotel again.

Overall good Room - Big for 2 person. We got two different rooms for 4 person. My room is better as the bathroom and toilet is separated. Location - Good. There is bus stop and train station nearby. Very convenient Price - Good Hygiene - Good Facilities - Good. They provided hot water, laundry machine, dryer machine and microwave. Staff is very friendly and attentive even though we checked in at midnight

Super convenient location, just at ximending. Amenities were average, we were given a change of room due to a missing sink. But overall we enjoyed the stay due to the convenience.

Location: Located around the Thermal Valley in Beitou, this hotel is a little further up than the cluster of hot spring hotels. Getting up is an uphill hike so do call the hotel beforehand for them to send a van for you (Black Electric Staria with the hotel logo). There are payphones located around Beitou and Xinbeitou Stations. Beitou Station waiting area: Exit 1 from Beitou MRT station towards Guangming Rd. You can see 3 bus stop signs. Xinbeitou waiting area: Outside Sushi Express. Service: Service is alright. If you don’t speak Mandarin, it’s a bit of a challenge. Service is good. They will try to help you. Cleanliness: Hotel is a bit dated so expect for it to not be the cleanest. Our windows open to nothing. It would be nice to have hot water that is not spring water for showers. Amenities: Hotel provided some toiletries. Drinking water provided (approach front counter). Hot spring available in room but in an enclosed area. No hot water available. Only spring water. No elevator - it was a challenge to climb stairs 😂

The location is good the room is clean the staff is very kind cheap place to stay near station access landmark in a minutes this hotel is not for sensitive/ richkid people if your looking for budget friendly hotel choose this thanks you city hotel.

It was a rather nice accommodation. Spacious and convenient. Enjoyed our stay here only downside is the surroundings stores does close earlier not like other parts of Taipei, here it's harder to find a late night convenience store. But that said everything else was convenient and nice. UberEats works too.

Had an outstanding few nights at Aloft Taipei Zhongshan, from the excellent service at the concierge to the vibrant and modern room, packed full with luxurious amenities. The MRT station is directly beside the hotel, making it extremely convenient to travel to landmarks around the city. The only fault would be that the swimming pool is ‘seasonal’ so it was not open to guests during our visit in May.

The description of the hotel is very accurate: I'd also call it industrial chic, which I like, and is a good concept overall. The added bonus of a coffee machine in the room and free coffee downstairs is awesome. I also loved balcony access. The staff are very helpful and carefully explained the hotel policies to me as well as showing me the communal area. Only 4 stars for location, however, because you need to walk quite a while from the MRT and there aren't any breakfast options nearby that I found.
