Great little trendy and stylish hotel in a very convenient location just 300m from the train station and tons of supermarkets and eating options nearby. Traveling to Australia, the highest hotel. After I checked in, I really lived up to expectations and left a very good impression on me. I upgraded the most luxurious room type for free, with a bathtub and balcony, and the area was super large. The hotel is located in a deep alley, quiet and low-key; The hotel has a heavy sense of history and the design of materials is very solid. Breakfast is perfect, bedding is perfect, the environment is perfect, it is perfect!

Beware if you book more than 2 people into one bedroom. I booked a premium king room for 3 people, prepaid in full and arrived late at night off a long flight at the hotel to find just one bed-no sofa bed or rollaway in the room. The night manager advised it was an extra $70 per night for an extra bed for my daughter - that although my reservation for 3 people was correct, it did not include beds for 3 people and that we would all have to sleep in one bed. I disputed this with the night manager, who acknowledged how unreasonable and misleading this was but could not do more than reduce the cost of an extra bed in my room to $150 for a three night stay. Clearly unacceptable and yet I had no option but to pay up. I greatly resent this type of underhand behaviour and hope this acts as both a warning for others and a wake up call for the hotel. Shame on you.

Incredible location for those wanting to stay in the CBD. Super close to public transport, shops, and activities. The room could have been cleaner. There was no view from the window at all, but that's not really an issue.

Excellent location right across QVB -- check-in was also smooth and the receptionist gave us an early check-in at 11am which was very much appreciated. Rooms seemed new possibly because they have been refurbished, very generous size and everything you need in a business hotel. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Sydney!

The hotel room was tidy and ample for my needs solo traveling, with my own private space for rest and freshening up. The pillows were not very comfortable for me, but I tend to be fussy with pillows in general so no big deal (probably best to bring my own)! Great location, close walking distance to all you need in the city centre, with affordable Thai and Nepalese food across the road and several good coffee shops nearby. Friendly staff at reception and they were happy to let me stay in the lobby to do work on my laptop for several hours after my checkout. Overall good value for money and highly recommend if you need somewhere to stay on a moderate budget without needing to share facilities with other travelers.

I was given a room at lower floor which was a bit noisy during the morning hours as the clanging sounds of the breakfast buffet are quite obvious. The room is spacious and comfortable.

We booked hotel for convenience for our wedding. Pros: The location is awesome, only 7min walk from Gadigal Metro Station and about 5mins from Townhall station. Check is smooth, we were quickly allocated a room. If you are a member with IHG they will allow you to have a later check out. The size of the room was very good. Cons: The cleanliness of the room was very sad, quite disappointing that a 4 star hotel doesn’t have late night housekeeping. There were grey stains on the pillows. Dirty bits in the shower. Housekeeping service was very bad. They somehow made the bed with our personal items wedged between the sheets which took up a really long time to find. They didn’t bother to replace towels and remove all the rubbish from our room. All in all, not the greatest experience. Would not recommend. Poor service, overpriced.
