3-Star Hotels in Sydney

I had previously read the comments before booking at the capsule hotel as I usually do to avoid disappointment of available amenities, staff etc… when checking in I found the location in the heart of the CBD perfect with food vendors straight across from the hotel and a 2 minute walk from the light rail that takes you straight to the main shopping district and the rocks for all your art and entertainment. Staff were very kind and approachable even the guard at the bottom floor bar exit door was friendly to me when exiting at night. I found noise never to be an issue in the pods, although I did wear headphones at night time to listen to music but the room is practically always quiet. I was worried about how the air flow would be in the pods and about the mattress comfort from previous reviews thinking I may have got a one way ticket to a hot box scenario but I found it to be very comfortable with great airflow, I had the air flow on 1-2 levels at different times of the day and they still had an option for a third stronger airflow that I found unnecessary. I loved coming back to the pod for some RNR between my busy schedule over the three days I stayed here, the mattress for me was so comfortable and reminded me of the tatami mats in Japanese culture that they sleep on so as a westerner it actually opened my perspective to understanding Japanese culture better. I found that the shared bathrooms were always clean and never to crowded at both night and day. The last thing I can comment about is the storage was a great size I like that they had a hanger in your card accessed locker to dry your towel out through the day and still stay seperate from my belongings. Overall as a solo female traveller I would highly recommend the capsule hotel Sydney. I have stayed at hostels in Sydney close by to this hotel but that extra privacy allowed me to not feel like I wanted to stay out all day till bedtime. This was a last minute trip and if I ever had to book another last minute stay in the city I will book here.

I spent ages trying to look this up as X Backpackers, Nomads back packers and you have this listed as Base Backpackers. I booked this for 4 nights $214-00 which was quite reasonable. When I got there they said it was $215-60 which I paid. No when I got the receipt in my yahoo it was $220-5 as $4-90 fee. When I complained about this they said it was the agent fee. I sent feed back to the manager and she said they have taken this on board and should pay by Eftos at the hostel and not Visa through an agent. However the lady receptionist was very nice and gave me a single room for no extra charge. I also got two sausages and two pieces of bread and two drinks free at a barbeque night. The housekeeping was rather slack as in four nights they never came to the room and changed the towels, sheets ,empty the bins or new shampoo, conditioner and gel. The receptionist gave me a new towel and went to housekeeping and got gel, shampoo and conditioner but never said to them how slack they were The room was clean. nice bed and secure with a code to get in and TV in the room, so had an enjoyable stay. I never left the milk in the fridge as last time it got stolen or thrown out. Luckily it was ot too hot so not go off!

Compared with Xiamen Airlines transit hotel 1983Hotel, the price of this triple room is not very friendly! The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance to Darling Harbour, Chinatown, Sydney Opera House, and you can also take the bus to Coochie Beach, and the subway is very convenient! The hotel has some Chinese signs, the passage seems a bit narrow, and it is shared with residential buildings and is a high-rise building! The hotel is ok, and the room service is average! The king bed is two single beds put together, and the left and right are uneven!

The lady at the front desk was very nice, ah, ah, awesome, and the plot staff was very cute when I stayed a few days later, and put the three dolls of our three girls on the bed. When I went back, it was super warm and tidy. , I just walked to the shopping place, and I was super close to darling harbour. I was very satisfied after five nights in Sydney. & # 128076; & # 127995; & # 128076; & # 127995;

You hear to over and over in reference to hotels. ”You get what you pay for.” So, this place is cheap. For Sydney (where hotels are becoming absurdly expensive) it is very cheap. So, yes, it is old. The bathroom with its grey-green tiles reminded me of an old country hotel. The glass surround of the shower is grungy (but not dirty). The curtains don't quite fit. BUT ... the location is astounding. As advertised, it is literally a minute's walk to Sydney Town Hall. It is right in the very heart of the city. It is clean. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The place is quiet (note I had a room on the fourth floor - it may be noisier lower down). It has a modern working lift. The Wifi is good. The TV is erratic. And, most surprisingly, the room was actually quite roomy. The Coronation is MUCH better value than many inner city hotels. There are some that are more expensive which have only shared bathrooms; there are some that are very slightly cheaper that was actually pod or capsule hotels. Here you can get a proper room, a roomy room, with an ensuite bathroom, right in the heart of the city, cheaper than less well appointed alternatives. Sure, it's old. It isn't the Ritz. But it also doesn't charge Ritz prices. In truth it is an average establishment, but I am rating it very good because it is actually much better than expected, and the price - for the location - is fantastic. People will complain about it because it is old. Eventually it will get upgraded, and then it will be modern and white and gleaming - and much more expensive! Until that day, I'll stay there again, happily.

Travelling through with my large family of 7, we managed to get a single room that catered to all our needs, the beds were comfortable and the location was perfect for us to just walk everywhere we needed. Our only downside was that the staff did not inform us of the roadworks that were happening of a night time, they were outside our room and our children had trouble sleeping as well as ourselves. Understandably they cannot control that, but a warning might’ve allowed us to purchase some ear plugs or made us aware that it would get quite loud or allowed us to cancel to move to a different hotel if we really needed to. Travelling with 3 under 4 is already tough but tired children is not what ya want. Granted, the room was perfect, the location was perfect & the staff were fantastic in helping us to our room.

You can’t beat the location of Metro Apartments on King. The hotel is close to Darling Harbour and public transport to access other areas of the city. The accommodation itself is pretty average. Blankets were stuffed into garbage bags in the wardrobe but appeared clean. We folded one of the blankets under the fold out bed from the couch as it sagged in the middle. Good for location mostly and if you’re not fussy about accommodation.

The location is really good, no 5 minutes walk to the attraction. But because it is close to the roadside, it will feel noisy at night. The service is very good and very welcoming. The hotel is a bit old.

Stayed for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom cabin and the cabin was really nice and clean , shower was big with a big shower head which I loved . Bed was comfortable and kitchen had all things we need . Loved being back in nature and seeing all the wildlife . Enjoyed a nice bush walk through the national park . Park is located about a 15 min walk to North Ryde station . Only a couple of things , we constantly hearing knocking noises coming from the wall where aircon was only thing we could determine it was coming from the pipes attached to the wall outside . And on the last morning we were woken at 6am with constant planes going overhead every 2-3 mins for hours ( outside of parks control I know just thought people might need to be aware it’s a flight path and can be noisy ) Overall we enjoyed our stay and definitely would stay again .
