Hampton Inn Indianola, MS ★★

📍 913 US-82, Indianola

"We booked these rooms by phone. We arrived around 8pm. Room 109 & 227 were not up to your normal standards. The carpet in 109 filthy dirty, TV did not work, overhead light did not work, soap dispenser was hanging off the wall No soap in shower. No Kleenex in bathroom. Overall cleanliness was not up to par. When I talked with the manager she offered a 10%. Discount. This did not seem adaquate. I won’t stay they again"

"Motel is very close to highway 82. Problem my room was in the front and heard road noise all night. Room was clean. Just basic breakfast choices such as cereal and waffles. If you choose to stay here i would recommend a room toward the back. I will stay again."

Super 8 by Wyndham Indianola

Super 8 by Wyndham Indianola ★★

📍 601 US-82 W, Indianola

"Don’t stay here. The sheets smelled bad and there was one cigarette burn hole which had been patched. The white towels were yellowed and needed replacing. The amenities were bare minimum. There was no elevator, just 2 flights of stairs with the carpet removed. The “Continental” breakfast was the smallest, skimpiest we have ever seen. We were still hungary when we left. I’m surprised Wyndham’s name is associated with this hotel. That was misleading."

Hampton Inn Indianola, MS ★★
"Our stay here was a bit underwhelming. While we don't expect a Hampton Inn to be a 5-star resort, we expect at least for the basics to be right and for everything to be clean. To start with, for the room, the bed was comfortable, but there was a stain on the mattress when we removed the sheets, probably caused by a previous guest spilling a drink. As soon as housekeeping sees this (which should be literally between all guests), the mattress should have been switched out. Leaving the stained mattress could mean mold growing in the bed. Other than that, the room was relatively clean, although the toilet contained brown water constantly, which was definitely a turn off. Also, the towels in the room were quite small. Another major complaint was the breakfast. I've stayed at probably close to 100 Hampton Inn's in the past decade, and this one was by far the worst breakfast. The waffles were absolutely disgusting making me think they didn't prepare the batter correctly (or used spoiled ingredients). The potatoes were extremely undercooked. I had zero desire to eat anymore from here after this experience. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and there was plenty of parking."

"Just a basic motel. Lot of contractors staying there. One complaint would be a knock on my door at 7:30 in the morning from employee wanted to know if I need new towels. Told them no but when I came back later in the day the towels were changed out. Don’t expect any amenities but I knew this when checking in. Front desk staff was nice. Room clean. Slept well."
