Armata Boutique Hotel ★★★

📍 Enoria Agiou Antoniou, Spetses

"The overall stay was excellent from start to finish. The staff were extremely kind and attentive to everything, I felt genuine hospitality with every request I had. Breakfast was among the best I've had at a hotel, handmade, fresh, with real attention to detail. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Dapia, with everything within walking distance: beaches, restaurants, museums, the harbor. Keep up this kind of hospitality."

Hotel Villa Plaza

Hotel Villa Plaza ★★★

📍 Hotel Villa, Spetses

"Extremely expensive for what it is. The building is old, very old with wooden doors and windows. The quality of service very low and overall I felt it was not worth it. It is not run by professionals. AVOID at all cost. I would not recommend it at all."

Yayaki Spetses

Yayaki Spetses ★★★

📍 Spetses, Spetses

"Have I ever missed a hotel as badly as this one? Never in 35 years travelling the world. A welcome home, an oasis, an indulgence, a brilliant base to explore Spetses….all made even better by the in house team. George, Lilya and Karl….wow! George…a kind and thoughtful host….the Spetses whisperer who knows everything and everyone. Every request met with ‘of course’, every question answered with great consideration. Lilya…thanks for your attentiveness to our room and insistence that everything was just right. Karl…Yayaki is a stunning place and the perfect spot to call home for a week."

Guesthouse Niriides

Guesthouse Niriides ★★★★

📍 Dapia, Spetses

"As the title says Guesthouse Niriides is in a great location (near the Dapia), the room was more than adequate (& spotlessly clean) and the staff very friendly. Very rarely do we return to the same hotel/guesthouse, but on this occasion, we'll be back.....and looking forward to it."

Poseidonion Grand Hotel

Poseidonion Grand Hotel ★★★★★

📍 Dapia, Spetses

"It's more the four stars than a five stars. The rooms are quite old the breakfast is a small buffet. Besides the location the value for money is not that good"

Nissia Traditional Residences Spetses

Nissia Traditional Residences Spetses ★★★★

📍 Nissia, Kounoupitsa, Spetses

"An outstanding hotel, less than ten minutes walk from the harbour. This hotel offers a five star accommodation, with excellent service, high end spacious rooms with beautiful balconies overlooking a garden oasis. The smell of flowers and in particular jasmine follows you everywhere. The view of the sea from the terrace where we took breakfast is breathtaking. The staff is polite, friendly and very helpful. We have been there before and we are looking forward to our next visit in September."

📍 Agios Theodosis, Spetses

"I was very disappointed with this hotel. I had high expectations because of its central location and the beautiful photos online. We chose a Deluxe Room, which looked much nicer and more spacious in the pictures, but unfortunately the reality was quite different. Considering the price we paid, we definitely expected a much higher standard. There is virtually no service, no breakfast, and not even the option to have breakfast at the property. The most disappointing aspect, however, was the cleanliness. On two separate occasions we found very large insects in the room, and the second time we even discovered another one under the bed. This made us seriously question the overall level of cleanliness. The room was also quite dark, with only small windows. We could not really keep them open because only one small window had a mosquito screen, while the others did not. In addition, a dog in the neighbouring house barked throughout the night. The air conditioning was extremely noisy, which made sleeping very difficult: either you turned it off and the room became too hot, or you kept it on and had to deal with the constant noise. Overall, our experience was very disappointing, especially considering the price we paid. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel, as I believe there are much better options available in the area for the same price."

Yayaki Spetses ★★★
"Yayaki is one of the nicest small hotels I have stayed in. We stayed for ten days and loved it. The staff are exceptional. Karl, the owner, has a really great team - George the Operations Manager overseeing all activity, Demetrios at the bar, Marissia serving breakfast, Lyllia ensuring the bedrooms are kept immaculate complete with wonderful creations made out of the towels; all were so kind and helpful. Every guest was made to feel special and at home. Karl really understands the meaning of 'Hospitality'. The swimming pool area is very pretty and most mornings we had it to ourselves. Breakfast is outstanding and generous - jugs of fresh orange juice, good coffee, almost anything you want to eat; as much or as little as you like. This is an outstanding small hotel well placed for exploring the town, but out of the hustle and bustle and only ten minutes walk to either the new or the old port. We had the most wonderful stay here."

Hotel Roumani ★★★
"This was not our first time and it won't definitely be the last. Every year we visit this beautiful island and every time we return to Roumani Hotel and we don't regret it. Especially this year we were happy as there is a total renovation in almost all the rooms (a special note to the suites on the 2nd and 3rd floor, I wish we had booked those) and the breakfast was more upscaled than the previous years, a very pleasant surprise. It is situated in the best area of Dapia port having everything at the closest proximity. Shops, restaurants, cafes, s/m, bars even the stroll to the Old Harbour is not only close but very exploring and interesting. We are always fond of the people who work there, very polite and keen to help you. We travel all around the world and we pay attention to the details (Cleanliness, service, nice breakfast) that matter and are truly important to us. It is funny but this time we even noticed that they changed the amenities to a top quality and of course I told them. Very good!!!"

"We were picked up from the ferry and driven to the hotel that wasn’t far. Greeted by Christopher and shown to our lovely studio apartment. Very large room with a fireplace and a large sofa. Great size kitchen with full size fridge/ freezer. Would be nice to have ice cube tray. Immaculately clean and very comfortable. Great balcony. Best breakfast! Fantastic bread and huge selection of fruits, great coffee and chat with Demetrius. Loved the beautiful pool snd many sun beds, it was very quiet and always plenty of space. Some lovely places to eat and drink nearby."

Teresa Spetses ★★
"Teresa Hotel Spetses – A Charming Little Hotel… with a Taste for Human Blood Teresa is one of those places that immediately makes a good first impression. A small 12-room property, eight of which are suites, it sits about a seven-minute stroll from the port in a genuinely convenient location for exploring Spetses. The only thing closer than the harbour is a rather enthusiastic motorbike workshop, which provides an unexpected soundtrack of revving engines and mechanical optimism throughout the day. We began our stay in Room 7, a delightful upstairs suite. It was compact but cleverly designed, with tasteful décor, a comfortable bed, excellent linens, and the sort of thoughtful functionality that makes you forgive the lack of sprawling space. Everything was spotless, well maintained, and genuinely charming. Then came Room 2. Imagine moving from a boutique island retreat into a stylishly decorated mosquito training camp. Room 2 is on the ground floor, noticeably smaller, significantly darker, and unfortunately appears to be extremely popular with the local mosquito population. On the first evening we eliminated roughly 30 mosquitoes. On the second evening, another 30 arrived, apparently having heard good things from the previous shift. The result was less “relaxing Greek island escape” and more “all-you-can-eat buffet for airborne vampires.” We became regular customers at the local pharmacy, comparing bite patterns like seasoned wildlife researchers. To be fair, the hotel did offer a 50% reduction for the affected nights, which was a decent gesture. The problem is that compensation does not restore sleep, nor does it persuade itching ankles to stop behaving like emergency alarms at 3am. What was more frustrating was the response time. It took several conversations the following morning before the room was treated, and even after that the mosquito presence remained impressively committed to its mission. A small point of clarification for future guests: calling Teresa a hotel is perhaps slightly generous. There is no breakfast service (at least none was offered to us), the service is fairly limited, and on one occasion our suite was not cleaned during the day. Given that this is not budget pricing, expectations naturally sit a little higher than they would for a simple guesthouse. That said, the property has real potential. If the mosquito issue were properly addressed and a little more attention were given to the overall guest experience—breakfast, consistent housekeeping, and a few additional hospitality touches—Teresa could easily become a genuine boutique gem. A special mention must go to Martha at the front desk, who was excellent throughout. She provided thoughtful recommendations, communicated well before arrival, and showed genuine care both during and after our stay. She was, without question, the strongest part of the Teresa experience. My advice is simple: • Book an upstairs suite if you can. • Room 7 or similar is absolutely w"
