Excellent location, walking distance to everything! The lake is right behind the hotel. Walking distance to heavenly and two other plazas. Parking is across the street but it’s free. The rooms are a bit outdated but it’s clean and comes with kitchenette which is super convenient if you want to heat up or store food. There was a weird smell in the room I stayed in, hence the 4 stars instead of five. But overall it was a pleasant experience.

The room is relatively small. Not providing breakfast can be troublesome for families with children, as they need to spend time in the morning to make a light breakfast. Everything else was fine. Missing items were found back and mailed home. Thank you very much.

Hampton by Hilton South Lake Tahoe is pretty good. The hotel is on the main road near Lake Tahoe, close to fast food and supermarkets, very convenient. There is a tea station opposite the hotel front desk, with bagged tea, coffee, and hot water! The parking lot is also quite large. The hotel is relatively new and can be recommended.

The location is not bad, in the downtown area of South Lake Tahoe, you can walk to the entrance of the heavenly cable car if you go skiing. The room was clean, the bathroom was nice, and the bed was medium to soft but comfortable. The disadvantage is that there is a lot of noise after going to bed at night, heavy footsteps in the corridor, knocking on doors in other rooms, etc. There is no microwave in the room, and there is a charge for using the microwave in the restaurant. The motel is very good, but if the budget is sufficient, try to live in a better place.
