"The Plough Inn was a delightful place to stay. The staff were very friendly and the room was spotless! I had the best nights sleep ever because it’s so nice and quiet. The food was absolutely delicious also, both dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced. Parking is free and plentiful. Would love to visit it again. A lovely, cosy Yorkshire dales vibe."

"Serious need of some TLC! Possibly the most basic hotel ever stayed in. Very run down, not particularly clean. The bed's very uncomfortable and there isn't even an electric socket next to the beds. Towels very thin and small."

Green Grove Country House

"Our 4th visit to Green Grove. This time we stayed in the Samuel Suite - a real touch of luxury! Immaculate accommodation finished to a high spec. Hot tub an added treat. Keith and Zoe continue to provide top class hosting. Huge breakfasts (the word small is unknown here) which sets you up for the day. Despite being busy they still find time to chat to guests and are a font of knowledge about the area. We visited family q couple of times but the rest of our stay time were happy to relax on site, taking in the lovely views and the peace. If you want to be spoilt and pampered this is the place. We look forward to our next trip "up North"!"

Premier Inn Skipton North (Gargrave)

"Stayed here for two nights recently. The accommodation was first class as usual as you expect from Premier Inns. Unfortunately the adjoining bar / club house was struggling to serve food unless you had pre booked in advance. Not something you necessarily know or were informed of on your arrival. The bar was not serving draught bitter and it felt a bit cold like it just needed the heating putting on for a bit in the evening. I can't fault the staff as they were great put possibly Premier Inn management should be supporting them better to get the whole clubhouse thing working and a bit more welcoming and available. It's only a short walk to the village to get food or a pub drink and well served by Uber."

Highfield Guesthouse

"As we have stopped in skipton on numerous occasions, and in other hotels, this was our hidden jem ,the room was just right for us very clean and cosy warm as it was ,baltic outside, bed very comfy slepped well ,and very close to the centre of skipton ,the landlady is very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious, I would highly recommend this hotel, we will be back in the near future, faultless for us ,thank-you for a lovely stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Lovely hostel in beautiful grounds. Fabulous location in Malham. The room was clean, well maintained & reasonably priced. Staff were friendly & efficient. Only pizzas available in the evening which was fine as we only stayed one night, but would be nice to have more choice of food. Thanks for a great stay!"
