"When I arrived at the front desk at night, they kept saying they couldn't find the order. I was already very tired from coming from the airport. After going back and forth for more than half an hour and changing several people, I finally found the order, but I didn't even hear an apology. The living experience at night was also very bad. The hotel is close to the highway, and the glass windows are not soundproof at all. The whistling vehicles seriously disturbed my sleep. The next day, I communicated with the front desk whether I could change rooms, but I was told that all rooms were equally noisy. This is the answer I received. It seems that I can never book again in the future. The room was not cleaned at all the next day, and I don't know why. No one ever answered the front desk call from the room. The attitude of the front desk was also very unfriendly, no matter day or night. The only elevator kept making a loud noise and shaking a lot. The only bright spot, the swimming pool, was out of use and broken. In short, it was a very bad living experience. I really didn't like it, so I didn't take any photos."

"All fine, except in advance I asked for a earlier check in than 3:00pm. Was hoping to get in for 2:00pm. I got told on arrival no rooms ready yet. Seems funny that since check out time is 11:00am at the latest, no rooms would be ready until 3:00pm. Besides everyone does not wait to 11:am to check out out. Others trying to check in also told same thing. I even did advance check in day prior on line like they asked for. I was told check back in at 2:30pm maybe a room would be ready. Maybe hotel has magic room cleaners who clean all rooms at once just before 3.00pm. Does seem they are lacking in service help or bad system. May not go back in future."

"The rooms outside the first floor can be parked right in front of the front door, so it is convenient to buy and the indoor swimming pool has good hot water and few guests in the morning, but it is crowded in the evening."

"Unfortunately my stay was disappointing. The place turned out to be more la motel, not what was shown on Airbnb. The bed was uncomfortable, the room was very small, and the heater was extremely noisy. Overall, not a good experience"

"We needed a room due to weather conditions and being from out of the area. We were attending my daughter's wedding and had to make some very last minute changes which included my dog. The Hampton Inn was very accommodating. The location was perfect, the food and staff at the Hamptons in Barrie were exceptional and the accommodation was perfect. I suffer from PTSD and having my dear dog with me has helped immensely when staying at a hotel. I was very thankful that I was able to have her there. The staff and other guests loved her as she is a very sociable girl. Thank you for helping me with my last minute dilemma.  I must commend all of your staff especially the lady who works preparing for the breakfast rush and doing double duty cleaning rooms. "The road in front of the hotel is currently under repair and cannot be parked. Remember to enter from the square behind the hotel. The hotel's exclusive parking space is also behind the hotel. After parking, you can directly enter from the back door with the hotel nameplate. Warm reminder, the hotel is a 1920 building, there is no elevator indoors; it is best not to bring heavy boxes to live in, otherwise it will not be fun to move up a few floors~"

"Room was clean. Hotel was close to everything. We were late for breakfast but what we did get was pretty good and there was a variety of choices. If I’m ever in Midland again I will book with them"

"Wonderful lakeside getaway 🌿✨ We had a lovely stay at Rawley Resort. The location is peaceful and scenic, right by the water — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had dinner at the resort restaurant, and it was absolutely wonderful — both the food and the atmosphere were impressive. The overall vibe was calm and elegant, making it a great place to unwind. The only small downside was that the Wi-Fi in the room was a bit slow, but it didn’t affect our overall experience. We would definitely love to come back in the future!"
