The accommodation is beautiful with a very friendly and lovely young lady as host. She picked up our luggages from the entrance of the Dukezong ancient town and the accommodation is just a short cobblestoned walk away. The town is beautiful and they have dancing every evening in the ancient town square where everyone can join. Wouldn't mind staying here again if I'm in Shangri-La again.

I was skeptical about TeaHorse at first due to the lack of reviews but this turned out to be a wonderful stay! We stayed here overnight on our 2 day hike through the Tiger Leaping Gorge. We upgraded to the Deluxe Standard Room (for extra 50 CNY) since the room is newer and slightly bigger. The ensuite toilet was basic but very clean. The beds were also heated and the aircon could be used for heating and cooling. The guesthouse also runs a restaurant cooking homecooked meals and a cafe/bar boasting a beautiful view. We felt that the view from TeaHorse was better than the one at Halfway House, which seems to be the more popular resting spot amongst hikers. The view of stars from the cafe viewpoint at night is also amazing. The staff helped us book a return bus to Lijiang, which left from Tina’s guesthouse the next day. Tina’s was a 4h hike from TeaHorse and we boarded the bus back to Lijiang Old Town with no problem. Overall a lovely stay and would highly recommend this room as an overnight rest point for hikers.

It is very shaking when going up and down the stairs, which is not friendly to friends with heavy luggage 2. Later, the hot water on the fourth floor was not warm enough, but I was in a hurry to check out, so I didn't give any feedback 3. The hotel faces Napa Sea and you see the vast grassland from your room. When it is summer time, the grassland becomes the “sea”, which should be nicer. The “hardware” of the hotel is very good, but what impressed me more is the “software” — service. Xiao He arranged free airport pick-up, and they came to pick my family of 5 up with 2 x 7-seater after I told them I had many pieces of luggage. They also prepared 2 canisters of oxygen in the car just in case we feel uncomfortable in the high altitude. During our stay, warm milk was provided at night and everyone was very friendly. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay for my family. Thank you!

I am really grateful to the sister of the homestay. On the last day of flying to Lhasa, I forgot my glasses at the homestay. She helped me find them. I called a taxi to send them to the airport! Every day when I went out to play and returned to the homestay, it was like returning home. I stayed for 4.5 days. Every day I drank tea and ate melon seeds downstairs. The sister was very nice. I also talked to her about my marriage life. We chatted with each other and felt very close. She helped me take my luggage down from the 3rd floor and sent it to the intersection. Oh my god, it was so happy! And the room on the 3rd floor can see the prayer wheel when you lie down. Don’t be too happy. This price is really worth it! Oh, it snowed the next day. Looking out of the room, the snow view is invincible! The room is also very large and clean. I added an electric blanket, which is very comfortable!

A ******* style accommodation run by a small Tibet family. They can speak English very well and easy to communicate. They provide free transport from Gina to the hotel (where bus usually stop). The son, Tawa help to pickup us at the upper tiger leaping gorge scenic area and offer a brief stop at one of the view deck oversee the gorge. The owner even send us some fruits taken from her garden. We were very touched by the gesture. We satisfied with all the services and amenities provided but little bit disappointed as we requested for corner room but got middle one instead. My sister stayed at the corner room before. So we really look forward for that. The view from our room is amazing. Very stunning! Every room got their own balcony but it’s too cold to go outside. Lamp didn’t function as well or maybe we can’t find the switch 😅 We were provided with simple breakfast before Tawa send us to Halfway Guest House. Baba bread is my favourite while my husband really love the sweet potatoes. Thank you so much. We enjoyed our stay here.

We have gotten the suite, which comprised a king sized and queen sized beds. The room was spacious equipped with advanced tech such as xiaomi (akin to Siri/Google assistant) to control lighting and curtains. It’s a pity that the room comes with only one toilet and one bathing area though a jacuzzi is also available along the two connecting rooms. Room was clean and pillow was fluffy. Service was reasonable as we extended our stay. The hotel team helped to carry our luggage to the another room. Though the website did state complimentary transit services from hotel to station and vice versa, it was not offered to us. But during arrival, because our cab took us to the wrong hotel, they took effort to pick us from the wrong hotel to the right hotel. Of course, its pet dog is a magnet to customer. Overall, the stay was pleasant and I recommend to potential customers coming to ShangriLa.

The room is large, well-lit and hygienic, which lived up to the good reviews of online games. I came here with my girlfriend. I had a little altitude sickness. The store immediately arranged an oxygen concentrator for us for free. I was touched and my symptoms were relieved by half. I must mention their supporting ******* clothing store. In addition to the preferential prices for guests staying in the store, they also selected the best quality ******* clothing. My girlfriend praised it highly. I have nothing to say. Five-star praise, highly recommended!

The check-in experience was very good and very convenient. The inn provides free airport pick-up and drop-off. The service staff has a very good attitude, especially the handsome guy at the front desk who is tall, handsome and very polite. He helped me carry my suitcase throughout the whole process and spoke very gently and politely. Later, I learned that he was the boss's son. Not bad! The room is very spacious and it feels good to see the grassland outside, but the grass withers in winter. If it is summer, I think the scenery should be beautiful. The oxygen concentrator in the room provides oxygen 24 hours a day, and we did not feel altitude sickness. I don’t know if it is the credit of the oxygen concentrator, or it may be because we are in good health😀 Basic services are available, and the overall feeling is very good. Thumbs up👍! This hotel in Shangri La truly felt like home! You can tell the owner puts his heart into the place, and it makes all the difference. We stayed for three nights, but honestly, it wasn’t enough. we loved everything about it, especially all the cool tech features. The owner was incredibly kind and even upgraded us to what seemed like the biggest room. The heated bed and floors were a dream, keeping us warm and comfortable, and we could even dry our clothes on them! They also have a free washing machine, which was such a lifesaver. And the breakfast? *So good!* The milk tea was amazing, and there was this soup (I wish I knew the name) that I still think about—it was *that* good. On top of that, the service was next level. The owner personally picked us up from the train station—in a *BMW*, no less! He was beyond thoughtful, even helping us book a trip to Balagezong. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, but I’ve never met an owner who goes this far out of his way to make guests feel welcome. If you’re visiting Shangri-La, I can’t recommend this place enough. For the level of service and hospitality you get, the price is more than worth it. You *will not* regret staying here! It just walking distance to all the eateries and the prayer wheel!

Just near the entrance of the village, there are few tourists coming to Nero recently, and this is our wave of guests. The room was clean and large, with heating and cooling air conditioning. There is a proprietress at home alone, and the noodles are delicious! I went to hike the colorful waterfall the next day and came back to check out at 3 pm. Before leaving, the proprietress also sent two wild Rhodiola, which is used to soak water to deal with high inverse ratio capsules! The bedding is a little unsatisfactory, the spring mattress can feel the spring, and the quilt is not too comfortable. However, this seems to be a common problem in the homestay, and generally the homestay at the same price is not as good as the hotel.

The guesthouse is really cosy, the staff were friendly and they went the extra mile to help me with booking the coach. They have fireplace to cook on, location couldn't be better. One suggestion only: go take shower in the evening as they probably have solar heated water and, meanwhile no warm water in the morning. Overall a nice place. Great value for your money.
