"We chose this hotel because of the location, easy walk to riverwalk, our favorite spot....just perfect. The staff & valet service were extremely helpful & courteous. The only thing we were not pleased was our room #610. It was not inviting, it seemed damp, was dark, couldn't open shades in the afternoon, too much sun. When we got there the shades were up & the room was very hot, took long to cool the room. In the morning, we enjoy the outside light, though. It just seemed that we were in a very small dull room. Oh, we would have enjoyed a microwave in the room. We just expected a little bit more for the price we paid. But we made the best of it & enjoyed out time there. Thank you for your service in making it comfortable.

"overall was a pretty good stay. the room was spacious. However my window only has 1 light layer of curtain, and not the light-blocking/thicker one.
when i phoned the receptionist, she basically ignore my complaint by saying there is one (there wasnt, i even showed her the photo there was only 1 layer instead of 2). she said will ask someone to check the next day, but there wasnt anybody checking nor added.
im still giving 4-star overall for the location, parking, and spacious room."
"Roland in the breakfast area was the best. Checking on everyone to see if they needed any oj, etc. So very friendly and personable. It felt like he was family.
Also all of the registration crew at the desk were all great. Would highly recommend this hotel.

"Really great experience!! Staff was great. Riverwalk next door was convenient!! Definitely will recommend to family and friends. Room was clean. Breakfast and the kickback hour was amazing. Had a really fun and great time for our little mini vacation this weekend. The shops near by were fun to go into and get souvenirs."
"Booked for others, very good hotel, very convenient ~, hotel service is good, the price is relatively cheap, the price is still very high, will come again in the future if necessary"
"Overall a nice property. Great river walk location and lots of on-site food & beverage options.
Valet is $50/ night (probably standard rate).
I was able to receive a upgraded corner room on a high floor, because of my Hilton member status.
Accommodations were okay.
Power outlets didn’t work.
Fridge wasn’t working properly either.
Shower floor had a weird shower matt inside, wasn’t pleasant."
"The room was neat, quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast included omelets and meat patties, and the yogurt and milk were of good quality, which was considered good among American breakfasts! But the room smelled of perfume or aromatherapy, which was not very accustomed to! The location was in a small alley, and there was a bar on the corner, so I was a little worried about going in and out at night. It was about an 8-minute walk from the river walk, and there was a popular BBQ restaurant along the way. It was about a 13-minute walk to the Alamo Museum. A very cost-effective hotel!"
"Easy check in and out. Generous breakfast and dinner were included and we had a nice view of the Riverwalk while eating our meals. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. You could just sink into the beds they were so comfortable. I loved the amount of pillows and how comfortable they were. Wish I could've brought one home with me. Didn't get in the pool, but it was nice just sitting out by it."
"Nice big room but awkward arrangement with NO dresser drawers. Large walk in closet with very narrow door and NO light, so clothes stayed in the suitcases on the floor for entire trip. Grab bar in shower was on the wrong side, between toilet and shower so impossible to use getting in and out. Busy place, 100% occupied with only 1 elevator operational. Small but nice outdoor pool, tiny hot tub. Good breakfast, great valets. "

Great
GGuest UserEveryone was super friendly, our room was clean and “the best room ever” according to our kids. We were super happy with our stay and we will definitely return!
SS CortinaWe were looking for a hotel near our family. We received a suggestion from Trip.com to take a gander at La Quinta Inn & Suites Sea World. The price offered for our lengthy stay was unbeatable elsewhere. I read the reviews and had a few concerns, but you just never know. Now, what I am about to mention I do not say lightly because I travel extensively. We arrived at the hotel after an exhaustive travel day on the road. We were greeted by a young lady named Samantha. She was probably the best front desk clerk that I have ever encountered. She was inviting, respectful and welcoming to La Quinta. She asked how our day was and assured us that our stay would be as comfortable as she could make it. She explained everything and directed us to the elevators. As we walked away, she reminded us to call on her if we encountered any issues and wished us a good night. The hotel was clean and safe. I woke up during the night and looked outside the window to check on my vehicle. I found a security vehicle stationed at the entrance of the property. This was good to see and put me at peace. The only issues that I had was the coffee and the room. I found the coffee to be Luke warm to cold on two occasions in the morning. As for the room, the hotel was a non smoking hotel, but I swear someone had previously smoked in the room. The aroma wasn't too bad but I could tell. It was tolerable but unfortunate. You trust visitors to follow the rules but not all can be controlled. A huge thanks to the best front desk clerk Samantha who checked in on us during our week visit. Thank you!
GGuest UserGreat experience. Front desk was very accommodating and very nice. They offered my kids free snacks. Clean and quiet room. Would stay here again.
GGuest UserWe were excited after reading the reviews on Google, but when we arrived the single elevator was broken. We asked for a first level room, but were told they were sold out for the night. We arrived to our room and it smelled like it was smoked in but covered in air freshener. The smell seemed to be soaked in the walls. Since we were already told they were sold out, we didn’t attempt to ask for another room. The rooms mostly clean. We had 3 people and only 2 sets of towels. The room felt muggy and again, smelled.

Very Good
AAiqijunThis hotel is cost-effective. Convenient transportation and price is OK. The neighborhood is a little bit biased. But if there is a car, it is not a problem. The overall law is quite satisfactory.

RRingo. There was nothing great or wrong about the hotel room. I arrived at night and wouldn’t recommend walking around that area alone in the dark . The listing states a $50 security deposit but I was charged a $100 deposit and trip.com customer service agent contacted the hotel on my behalf. I left at 11am and prior to leaving there was 2 separate knocks at the door to serve as reminders check out was at 11am.
On the Charming side. Around at 11pm I decided to grab my self an ice bucket which was located on the first floor, after I got my ice bucket and headed towards my room a young mother sat on the stairs smoking a cigarette with her two lil girls. And as I passed I said to the girls “excuse me young ladys” as I got passed them, the young mother apologized and told her there was no need for an apology , smiled and continued on my way . I could hear one of the girls ask her mother why I referred to her as a young lady, the mother replied with because one day your grow up to be a beautiful lady. The lil girls laughed and laughed, which brought forth dad. Asking his family what was all the noise outside about? The girls said with excitement that their mother had said they would grow up to be beautiful … and don’t know what else was said because by that time I entered my room. But the sound of the two “young ladies” laughing and laughing, did make me feel better.
When I woke, the day light revealed an industrial area of San Antonio TX I had never seen before.
I would stay there again.
