📍 Πυθαγόρειο Σάμος, Pythagoreio

"A wonderful hotel with perfect renovation and excellent service and a delicious varied breakfast. In a quiet place, but two steps from the pier (which was important for us, as we arrived by ferry from Turkey) and the embankment with taverns and the beach. All the staff are very friendly. We will be happy to come again."

"Dirty! We should have left from the first moment and called the health department! Shame on our country! We stayed with my family from 20/07/23 to 25/07/23 by necessity after I had booked it with social tourism vouchers! We had planned to stay (before we went) another three days! I will only refer to our rooms! We didn't expect luxuries! Didn't we mind the small old-fashioned TV that didn't catch any channels or rust on the water heater but the phone in the shower and the short curtain in the bathroom that were yellowed by the passage of time? or /and/ the lera? On the balcony, ropes for hanging clothes and 3 clothes pegs! The small table and the plastic chairs for the balcony were on top of a wardrobe and they also needed cleaning! They changed our towels when the 5 days that were paid for by our cashier were now over and bearing in mind that we would stay another 3 days at our own expense! When we were leaving (and after he asked us for the legal sanction to cancel the reservation) we told him about the above (complaints) he told us that we had to tell each other from the first day to give us other rooms! In other words, he had more clearly, but he gave them selectively? We have been going every year for 15 years on vacations with and without social tourism and we have never encountered anything like this before! I am amazed at the good comments that some have written!"

"Lovely hotel very quiet peaceful and relaxing rooms very clean but on small side but would recommend booking room with sea view as it is a beautiful view . The pool bar is nice snacks and drinks ok staff really nice the young man that worked there most days was brilliant worked so hard and also made great effort to make sure everything was ok . The pool is lovely beds are great view great never had a problem with getting a bed always plenty available any time of day , the only down side with pool is the steps are very slippery and no sign we did see a few people fall . This is one of the friendliest hotels we have stayed in from greeting you at reception to cleaners and bar staff ."

"When I arrived at the Samos room, I knew right away that this is a place I'd choose again without hesitation; everything has been meticulously thought out. We absolutely loved room number 25, and if all the rooms are like this, I'd say it's truly top-notch. Plus, having access to the beach of the other hotel nearby was fantastic. The breakfast in the morning was really, really good, especially considering the island's standards. You can be sure you'll have a very calm, beautiful, and peaceful day by the pool – we certainly did! 😀 A big thank you to Petroniava at the reception, who was lovely and attentive. Her excellent service, including sending us cold drinks and cake while our room was being prepared, was a very classy touch. Similarly, the cheerful smiles of the East Asian staff by the pool made us feel incredibly at home. We didn't use them, but for anyone interested, the hotel offers bicycle rental, and you can get to the city center very quickly by pedaling."

📍 Marathokampos, Samos

"The Hotel had very nice and clean rooms. The owner was a very friendly and kind man, who could help with everything. Breakfast had all you needed; egg, bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, pancakes, hot dogs and some of the hot food changes every day. We also got to taste some delicious Greek dishes that were served at breakfast. The hotel was a short walk away from the beach and it was a small supermarket with a kind cashier just down the road who had great soft drinks, snacks and ice cream. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay at So Nice hotel, and recommend it to everyone who are traveling to Samos."

📍 Panepistimiou Aigaiou, Samos

"We went to Samos for the first time with a tour, the island is beautiful, very safe and not too big but naturally its beautiful nature, everything is very good, if we come to the hotel, the hotel is far from the city center, it is on a route where there are not many shops, grocers or çakkals in the magrumiyet region, let's remove the first and only - from here😀the hotel is a beautiful boutique small hotel, the service quality is really good, clean, hygienic, the two most important elements that can be looked for in hotels in today's conditions are one being clean, two quality price performance, we went with a samosstar tour, it was very cheap in terms of price performance but the internet does not work, the lady at the reception, Ms. Pınar, is a very helpful person, she chatted with us every minute, she even came to the restaurant we went to😁😂 a polite, smiling lady who knows the island well😊☺️ thank you for everything, Ms. Pınar🙌"

"Love, love, love. Beautiful and relaxing. So many beautiful flowers and trees. The rooms are spacious, very clean and cool. No issue with the air at all. So nice to sit on the balcony. Table and chairs are comfy. Food was sooo good and fresh. The pools are very very clean which I appreciate, I hate when there are things floating etc. plenty of chairs and a nice pool bar Very easy to get cabs to town if you don’t want to walk. My brother walked to town every morning and brought back pastries. There is a little store for food etc and also a couple stores for gifts. Very reasonable prices. I was never overheated , thirsty or hungry. Perfect get away❤️❤️❤️"

"What a service, a most pleasant welcome, always attentive, kindness, service and responsiveness are their watchwords. Pure pleasure... A fantastic breakfast, with an à la carte service at no extra charge and unlimited Nespresso without complaint, always with great service. A small request, and presto it's settled directly without you having to notice it. Beaches nearby and restaurant really close."

Doryssa Lithos Hotel ★★★
"Note, the Doryssa has numerous locations on the island including the Lithos, Method and Seaside. Due to a flight issue, we initially stayed at the Method Hotel, which turned out to be fantastic in every way — from the friendly and helpful staff to the well-designed, comfortable rooms. We truly enjoyed its convenient street-level location and vibrant atmosphere. Our next four days was booked at their pricier sister property, Lithos, perched at the top of the hill. We were told that if we loved the Method, we would be “wowed” by Lithos. Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. Our first night at Lithos was uncomfortable because the AC didn’t work, making the room unbearably hot. The next day, after a long day at the beach, we looked forward to relaxing by the pool with drinks and snacks before dinner — but again, we were let down. The pool area didn’t have enough lounge chairs, and food service stopped at 4 pm with drinks ending at 5 pm, which is surprisingly early for a hotel of this caliber and price point, especially given its hilltop location. There was nowhere else nearby to get refreshments without trekking back down to town. Ironically, the Method Hotel, right in town, offers bar service and food until 11 pm, making it far more convenient and guest-friendly in that regard. While the day manager at Lithos was pleasant, the afternoon and evening front desk staff, as well as the breakfast team, were unfriendly and seemed uninterested in helping guests or sharing information about the island. We also booked the “Greek Night” at their Seaside location, but despite paying cash in advance, our reservation was lost. The staff there was equally unfriendly, insisting we hadn’t paid, making us wait 30 minutes, and finally seating us so far away from the entertainment that it felt like we were in a different restaurant. The food at the event was very good, but the entertainment was mediocre at best. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Lithos. Stick with the Method Hotel — it’s more affordable and offers much better service and atmosphere. The one highlight at Lithos was their excellent gym facility, which was truly fantastic."

Virginia Hotel ★★★
"We stayed at this hotel for 14 days, so it was a long time to evaluate its strengths and weaknesses. The hotel is quite large; upon arrival, we were given a choice of room. We opted for the ground floor, near the reception, which was a perfect choice. The room overlooked the internal courtyard and not the street like many of the other rooms, which meant there was no privacy whatsoever. The room was perfectly functional; air conditioning, bathroom, and shower were excellent, and the cleanliness and closet space were excellent. The main problem with the hotel is its location: on a steep, one-way street, remote from the city, where parking is truly difficult to find (the hotel only has two spaces on the main road). You can't get anywhere on foot. Given the one-way system, if you don't find a parking spot right away, you'll have to drive around the city to get back to the hotel. Only at the end were we told that the narrow stretch of road in front of the hotel was allowed to be a one-way street, but there were many things we weren't told at the beginning... the managers are very kind but of few words! Another drawback was the breakfast: very little variety, with four biscuits for sweets, the rest savory. They keep reproducing the same foods until they run out or expire, as was the case with the shelf-stable milk, which one day we even found rancid! In the end, we were allowed to check out at 3:00 PM for a fee of 50 euros."

"I loved the place the first time i got there, the entrance reminded me a lot like wild West. The pool area was really really good, especially the night when it was lightened and very clean with comfortable sunbeds. Very relaxing. My room was very good and clean, i liked the architecture of the place a lot, it is very edgy. I tried the gym too, very clean too. The stuff was ok to me and seemed happy to help. Breakfast was alright. I would totally go again"

So Nice Hotel ★★★
"Back from 1 day, I have to say a very disappointing holiday regarding the cleaning of the room done only one day in a week because we pointed it out to the assistance. The shower knob was broken, we left and it remained like that. The lock of the glass door of the room located on the ground floor was broken, we reported it, but no one was seen to fix it, we stayed a week with the glass open and anyone could enter. After 3 days we threw the two bathrobes on the floor to have them changed, they took them away and never cleaned them again. The village has no security guard to control, in fact anyone came in and occupied the sunbeds and umbrellas available to us in the village. Even the swimming pool was full of people who do not stay in the village. On Saturdays and Sundays it was a nightmare, the village was full of local people who spent the weekend in our village without authorization, a sea port. In order to use the umbrella, we holidaymakers had to go to the beach at 6.30 in the morning to find a free umbrella, because everyone was already occupied with towels from the night before (a nightmare) In some rooms there was also no hot water or even water due to breakdowns, fortunately at least this didn't happen to us The staff doesn't speak Italian at all and doesn't even understand it The only bar closes at 7.30 pm and it's no longer possible to drink anything Instead, as for the restaurant I have to say that nothing was missing and the food was good, all Italian chefs. The entertainment guys were always present without being intrusive, we played and joked with them, the head entertainer Miko, a great, very good person together with his wonderful staff made us have fun 👏 Thanks also to Rosita from Veratour assistance, she is also always present In this village there is a lot to do and improve, I don't recognize it as a Veratour village, having traveled with them for years both in Italy but especially abroad it has nothing to do I've been home for a day and what I miss is the good food found ready and the entertainment guys😂🥰"

"The room and cleaning really good. The beds where for me just fine, good quality! The pool just ouside our room was clean and same with the sunbeds. People in the reception was a credit to their proffession, over and beyond! Their in house rental of cars is competetive and the cars are good! On a personal view I would prefer a scooter 125cc for drive around on the island but the Micra works just fine🙂 I do find the food to be good and the kitchen personal friendly, most of the waiters / waitresses one was rather hunting we had payed 4280€ for 3 weeks including breafast and dinner coffe and softdrinks are included with breakfast but only plain water with dinner and price for coffe and sparkling water for 2 was close to 20 € and the way we where made aware of that was not so fun a sour feelling sadly I would understand paying extra for beer, wine, spirits lol but 20€ per day for sparkling water and a cup of coffe.. Btw we had several days on wheels around I liked my stay here otherwise worth the money. Next year 3 weeks at Method 🙂 Happy summer 😎"

"When arriving at Semeli boutique hotel a very warm welcome was given by the friendly and hospitable staff and owners. The hotel has an amazing architectural style and very comfortable rooms, furnished with natural products, oak and teak, a floor with large quarried stones. From the balcony with view to the Aegean Sea and Tsamadou bay, surrounded by the astonishing nature, one can experience a beautiful sunrise causing an immediate feeling of calm, well being and harmony in a relaxed atmosphere. After the delicious and copious breakfast, one is completely ready to continue a wonderful day with many beauty to explore and experience on a magical island! I can recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Samos and seeking comfort, beautiful nature, peace and serenity..."
