Local Stay Hotel, BW Signature Collection ★★★★
"We checked in on September 10th, and immediately upon arrival, the receptionist insisted we only had one person booked in their system, offering to pay for a second person for three more nights. After we persisted, she called someone to check, and it turned out everything was fine and we had paid for everything. She was rude, as if we were being rude. We also booked a room with two separate beds, as the photos showed, but they gave us a room with one queen bed. We upgraded to another with two queen beds, but we had to separate them and ask for two sheets. She also said the washing machine was broken, and two days later, another girl said only the dryer was broken, and we didn't have time to wash our clothes. The outlets on one wall in the room didn't work, and the TV didn't work either. The kitchen has a stove, but no pots or pans, so we couldn't cook anything. The breakfasts were quite good, with plenty to choose from and enjoy. The rooms were really clean. The spa and pool were practically deserted at that time, but swimming was possible. There weren't many restaurant options for dinner, and the nearby restaurant was only open three days a week, which was too late for dinner. The gym didn't have much equipment, and one was broken, which was a concern for my husband, who was upset. It's worth a visit if you have your own car and want some peace and quiet."
Grand Hotel Therme ★★★★★
"We had an amazing stay and I honestly cannot fault this hotel. I visited as part of a group of around 65 brought together by F.I.T (Faye’s Intentional Training), and the hotel handled everything exceptionally well. It was great to see how smoothly everything ran, even with such a large group. A special thank you to Antonia from Guest Relations who was absolutely fantastic. She was very informative, approachable, and nothing was ever too much trouble. She really made our experience even better. The spa facilities are on another level. I have never experienced so many different rooms and pools in one place – from steam rooms to plunge pools, ice rooms, and even a rain room. It felt like a full wellness journey rather than just a spa visit. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. Everything was done to a high standard. I also had a massage during my stay, and the range of treatments available is incredible there is truly something for everyone. Honestly, 4 days was not enough to experience everything this place has to offer. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for relaxation, wellness, and a bit of luxury."
The Balkan Jewel Resort, Trademark Collection by Wyndham ★★★★
"The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a day full of activities. The hotel grounds were beautifully maintained, with plenty of space for both work and play. The food was delicious and varied, with options that pleased everyone in our group. Overall, the hotel was the perfect setting for strengthening our team spirit. We left feeling refreshed, connected, and full of great memories."
Pirin Golf & Country Club Apartment Complex ★★★★
"So-so."
CORNELIA DELUXE RESIDENCE ★★★★
"Writing a review or even complaining is something I usually never do but had to here so to keep it short and sweet. the staff in this hotel are the rudest and most ignorant staff we’ve ever had and outright made our trip hell please do not stay here and avoid at all cost. You think you can ignore it and just get on with your holiday but anytime you need to speak to reception which you more then likely will a few times the outright attitude that will come your way will literally leave you baffled as to if what is happening is real"
Regnum Banya Thermal Hotel ★★★
"Another great stay at the boutique spa hotel and look forward to the next."
Pirin Golf Hotel & Spa ★★★★★
"We had a warm welcome in Pirin Golf club- the staff couldn't do enough to help and make us feel like kings! We can't recommend this hotel enough- the facilities were fantastic and the food was fresh and delicious. Thank you! We'd like to say a special thank you to Anife for her friendliness and kindness!"
Thermal Hotel Seven Seasons ★★
"I can say we are happy with our stay here. Rooms are clean, bathroom is also clean. We stayed in family appartment with balcony and nice view to the mountain. Swimming pool inside the hotel is clean, not very small, there are two baby/kids pools. Sauna is a bit small, but good. Food is normal, delicious and good quality. Staff is friendly and cooperative. To wrap up I would say good quality for reasonable prices."
Aspen Golf and Ski Resort ★★★
"The hotel is around three hours from the airport and approximately 20 minutes from the gondola. There is a shuttle service; however, it only runs twice in the morning and twice again in the late afternoon, with nothing in between. In February, most local shops are closed, although there are still a few restaurants and mini marts open nearby. The hotel and room: Our room is warm, the beds are very comfortable, and the shower is phenomenal. It is true that the kitchen setup is extremely basic. You are provided with glasses and cups, a cooker, and a fridge, but there is no kettle, no pans, no cutlery, no plates, and no washing up equipment. There are also no complimentary refreshments. That said, if you ask at reception, they are happy to provide what you need. We requested a kettle along with plates and cutlery for ourselves, and the staff member was very accommodating and asked what else we required. I am confident that cooking and washing up equipment could also be provided if requested. The bathroom includes shampoo, soap, and shower gel, but there are no vanity kits or conditioner. Breakfast: Breakfast is not buffet style. It consists of cooked options or muesli from a set menu. It was fine, but nothing particularly special. Tea and coffee: Black tea and instant coffee are non existent. Only herbal teas are available, and coffee is from a machine in the restaurant. I would recommend bringing sachet drinks from home for your room or be prepared to purchase them locally. Spa and pool: The swimming pool is acceptable but does feel in need of updating and could be a little warmer. Only one sauna was working during our stay. We have not yet booked any spa treatments, but we likely will. Staff and service: Overall, the hotel is very good. The staff are helpful and responsive. We had a few minor issues: only three pillows between two of us, one pillow missing a cover, and a shower door coming off its runners. All issues were reported and dealt with quickly. We will provide a full review at the end of our stay."
