"Travelling for the first time just my daughter (4) and I, and the service we received was exceptional. Initially there was a mix-up with room sizes and only a double was available. While that was fine with me, my little in wanted her own ‘big girl bed’. The staff brought her some little treats to ‘sorry’ but still worked some magic and found us a twin room. They really went out of their way….for a 4 year old! Good variety on offer for buffet breakfast all of which was warm and good quality. I’ve stay at the Fishers previously in different group sizes and have always found tue service and value for money fantastic."

"There was a power unit, located on the flat roof below our window, which cut on/off all night. When the power was on, which was every 20 mins or so for approx.2 mins, the noise and vibration was unacceptable and I had the worst night's sleep I have ever had at any hotel. The added extras and attention to detail were exquisite and in my book should be a 5 star hotel. Everything from the food and drink to the surroundings was absolutely beautiful. Also don't worry about taking wellies as they can be provided along with dry robes. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying here and will be back."
