Beihongcun Shangbei Family Hotel

First of all, there's no forced spending, it's a pure, no-nonsense experience, which makes me feel especially at ease. You can leisurely stroll through Pingyao Ancient City; the old streets and houses are incredibly charming and photogenic. There's no rush at all, making this tour perfect for families with elderly members and children. The only downside is that you'll need to rent an audio guide near the scenic area if you want a commentary, but overall, it's quite cost-effective. Highly recommended! (*^∀^)

I absolutely love this guesthouse! It's clean, comfortable, and they thoughtfully provide disposable toiletries for guests. The decor makes it feel like you're staying in a cabin abroad. The breakfast is delicious too. There's even a little courtyard outside the guesthouse that's perfect for photos, you can even try the 'splashing water into ice' trick there. I'll definitely stay here again next time! 😊

I absolutely loved my stay at this homestay! The place is cozy, warm, and beautifully decorated — every corner feels thoughtful and inviting. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the wooden design gives a very relaxing vibe, especially with the snowy scenery outside. The common areas are bright and comfortable, perfect for reading, resting, or just enjoying the peaceful environment. The staff are friendly, helpful, and really make you feel at home. The location is great too — quiet, scenic, and close to local attractions. Truly a gem in the area. I would definitely come back again! ❤️❄️

Beihong Village is truly the northernmost village in China. This guesthouse is clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner are all common household brands. They provide both reusable and disposable slippers, as well as disposable bath towels. The food prices aren't cheap, but they're fair, considering how inconvenient transportation is to this area, which significantly increases the cost of ingredients brought in from outside. The dishes taste like home cooking – simple and delicious, not overly oily or salty like some restaurants. Oh, and the local beer is really good; definitely give it a try. The village itself is very neat, with straight, orderly streets, and it's very quiet. You can strike up a conversation with the villagers if you meet them! Finally, a word about the owner's family of three: their university-aged son is very handsome, the owner is a down-to-earth person who does the cooking, and the landlady is gentle, kind, and very welcoming. During dinner, they even brought us cucumbers from their own garden – a bit crooked, but green-hearted and very sweet! For breakfast, we had eggs, steamed buns, corn porridge, and pickled vegetables. After breakfast, as we were getting ready to leave, the owner and landlady stood at the door to bid farewell to each and every guest!

Service: A perfect 10, absolutely fantastic! 👍 The owners are super nice. We were a group of four and booked two rooms for two nights each. 1. They gave us a huge plate of frozen pears and frozen persimmons both nights – so delicious! 😋 2. They helped us find a charter car. It was affordable and the itinerary was well-planned, saving us a good 200 yuan compared to if we had found one ourselves! 3. They proactively told us that if we wanted to do the 'splashing water into ice' trick, we should tell them in advance so they could help us with the water. They even took us to the riverside to do it. All in all, the service was truly top-notch! 👍 Environment: The floor heating was very strong, the environment was quiet, the location was easy to find, and it was within a 10-minute walk from the station. Cleanliness: The entire place was clean and tidy, and relatively new. They provided disposable towels and bath towels. Facilities: Everything you need was there. The only downside was that the shower head was placed too high and the water pressure was a bit low.

The hotel facilities are quite decent. The small courtyard area is very well-maintained and clean. We had a very comfortable stay; everything was spotlessly clean. Cleanliness: Excellent. Environment: Also very good. Service: Absolutely top-notch, couldn't be better. The only slight drawback is that the surrounding environment of Beijicun village itself isn't the best. But given its remote location, the overall experience was still very positive. This hotel is definitely recommended. It has its own restaurant, and the food served is all quite good.

This trip to Beiji Village was absolutely perfect! The food was delicious, the scenery was beautiful, and the hotel I chose was fantastic – excellent service, convenient, and affordable. I highly recommend it! After buying your attraction tickets, you can drive directly to the hotel, and the scenery is right outside your door. The room was very clean and warm, with a stunning view of the snow-covered landscape. The staff were friendly and helpful. A truly five-star review!

I was incredibly surprised and delighted the moment I checked into the North Pole Village Snowman Cabin Hotel! The room was spotless, and every detail, even in the corners, showed meticulous care. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, so friends who are particular about cleanliness can totally go for it with their eyes closed. The log cabin style combined with warm yellow lighting created an amazing Nordic fairytale ambiance. What was most heartwarming was the staff's service; from front desk check-in to helping with luggage, everyone was super enthusiastic and attentive. They even patiently shared tips for exploring the surrounding area, making it feel like coming home. You really can't go wrong choosing this place when you come to North Pole Village; I'll definitely stay here again next time!

While scrolling through Xiaohongshu for travel tips, I stumbled upon a photo of this place featuring motorcycle travelers – helmets hanging on the wall, group photos of fellow adventurers – and it instantly resonated with me. Driven by an impulse, I set off, and the moment I walked through the door, I wasn't disappointed. The walls weren't just adorned with photos of motorcycle enthusiasts checking in; there were also postcards and handwritten letters from guests all over the world. These messages conveyed sentiments ranging from the exhilaration of riding thousands of kilometers to the joy of seeing the aurora for the first time. It felt like stepping into a 'spiritual gathering place' for passionate travelers, where even the air hummed with the warmth of dream-chasing. Settling in, I felt even more at ease. Both the room and public areas were spotlessly clean and tidy. The bedding was neat and odorless, there was no clutter on the tables or floor, and even the smallest details in the corners were meticulously maintained. This cleanliness wasn't a forced orderliness, but rather a comfortable ease that instantly melted away much of my travel fatigue. What truly touched me was the human warmth here. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and genuine, taking the initiative to chat with us about travel routes in Beiji Village, sharing aurora forecasts, and offering photography tips. The hotel even provided free hot water and ladles, allowing us to experience the fun of 'splashing water into ice.' Everyone else at the hotel was also very friendly. Occasionally, when chatting with other travelers in the common area, the feeling of being strangers vanished instantly. In the biting cold winds of the far north, 'Motorcycle Enthusiast Home' wasn't just a clean and comfortable place to stay; it fulfilled my passion for motorcycling and allowed me to experience an unexpected warmth.

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it's only a one or two minute walk away. It may be the Spring Festival, so not many restaurants are open nearby. If they are open, go early or you'll have to queue. The hotel has good facilities and offers free parking. The room is clean and warm, but you need to open the window. You can walk to the post office and square in the city center, but you need to take a car to other attractions!
