"Honest review from a party of 9 staying here from 9th aug till 21st Aug From the moment we entered the hotel we was welcomed with friendly happy faces Hotel WiFi free Safes £2 euros per day Rooms in hotel are very comfortable I had x2 adults x1 child perfect amount of room with large beds mini fridge ect all normal stuff you would expect. The pool area is absolutely beautiful with loads of sun beds ,the pool gets cleaned every morning I was up early each day but its very relaxed here and pool doesn't open till 9am people put towels on beds around 7.30 ,pool attendants constantly cleaning picking up after everyone all day long , There is another pool in the apartment side but can't comment as we didn't use it same with the inside pool ,pool area floors washed every evening when pool closes at 6pm. great drink choices free mini icecreams pool snack bar which Is cooked to order so does take a little while but very tasty burgers hot dogs toasties chips ect open 11-12 then 3pm till 5pm , Breakfast lunch dinner nothing to complain about at all everything was very nice always something different even for fussy eaters dinner they ask how many people take to to a table then serve u drinks but at dinner u can only get wine beer or juice or fizz but the waiters can't do enough for you all work extremely hard for long hours aswell entertainment people do darts yoga water polo ping pong ect in day time , evening a bit hit n miss and not for very long but station bar open till 3am across rd and entertainment there doesn't start till 9.30 10pm Anastasia hotel water park we just walked in opens at 10am great few hours of fun with our local beach 7 min walk from tsokkos gardens hotel Few shops within 2 min walking distance the strip is a good 20 min walk 10 mins in taxi about 12 euros went few times was very busy and lively we got our boat trip from there one of the days which I really recommend doing we did the yellow dolphin submarine We hired x3 buggies from George's for £120euro each for 24 hours highly recommend we visited 5 different beaches Late check out available £30eura till 30m 50euro till 6pm"

"It is hard to knock this hotel based on price, given the deal we received on an all inclusive basis. However, the cleanliness around the pool and in the dining area was terrible. The staff were present in numbers but were more interested in laughing at each other, or making faces behind the backs of guests. The food was okay and what I would expect from a knock it out to the masses experience, but it lacked any flavour and most was over cooked or had just been left to be served for to too long so was dry and tough. The room was basic, but the two single beds pushed together had been so used that there were large impressions in the beds, which actually made it a task turn in the night. Would I stay here again. Unfortunately No, and I would warn others that there are better places to stay, even if the price looks to good to be true. 3 out of 10."

"100% honest review. Been here 4 years ago and hotel have made a lot of adjustments and refurb. Decor and cleanliness is wonderful. This is tips for people who wish to come here. * if you want a late check out? Forget it. Travelling with a child with disabilities and they didn't make an exception. (The hotel is not full) * They have a custom room for showering on departure however no towels you have to provide your own or hire them from reception. * 1 plug available in reception for charging your phone. This is not good enough considering the amount of guets in the hotel. * restaurant and pool area nowhere near big enough for the amount of guests staying at the hotel, there are enough sun loungers though. *people paying extra for swim up bungalows can only use their pool up until 630 pm if you want to swim at night, you cant. So dont see the point of paying 800 pound extra for this. Some of reception staff are rude when asking question if their answer is no then they dont provide you with advice for an alternative. I love Cyprus but wont be returning here although the hotel has pros there are too much cons"

"Previous to our recent break at the At Herbal hotel my wife and daughter had a very good experience of a spa day and recommended the place for a stay We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and paid on 11/11/24 for a three-day break from 18/05/25. We had a little problem on arrival as the room reception sent us to was already occupied. That was quickly resolved,into a room unsuitable for a wheelchair. Please be aware that there are no grab rails , no drop downs, and the toilets are extremely low, and our break began. I am severely disabled with serious food allergies. These were all handled with skill and sensitivity by the staff particularly those in the restaurant. We had a pleasant relaxing time and on the evening of my wife’s birthday staff sang happy birthday and presented her with a cake and a bottle of prosecco. The problem arose at checkout when the staff were adamant that I had not paid in advance. I produced my receipt, and this was deducted from the bill, and I made the mistake of thinking all was done. After I had got into our taxi adapted for my disabled buggy my wife came out to say that the hotel would not let us leave without paying again for our stay. I was in considerable pain and aware our driver had another pick-up soon. So to say the least I was not in a good place to deal with what was clearly becoming a serious confrontation. As a result, I did pay again on my credit card to enable us to leave and the driver to get us home in time for his next job. On returning to our apartment where we had secure wi-fi, my wife got up our statements and these showed clearly that we had been debited for our stay at At Herbal, on 11/11/24. I presented all this again to the manager at the Hotel and requested an immediate refund as he now had a photo of the bank statement a copy of the receipt and a copy of the overpayment. In his email he made it clear “As we already told you our accounting department is checking for the amount “ that this would happen at his convenience and that despite the receipt he was not going to refund our money until his account’s department said so. By this time, I was very stressed and distressed as this was meant to be a little treat for my wife and it had become anything but a treat. Also, as one of my disabilities is PTSD the stress really kicked things off again and that night I was very restless and had to get up at 3:30 to deal with all the hassle going on in my head. The money was ,a week later, refunded to my credit card. I have never received an explanation of how the incident happened. I have not received an apology, especially for the suggestion that we tried to leave without paying the bill, which as a retired minister I found deeply offensive. We have not received any compensation for all that we went through."

"Just on the last day of holiday . Fabulous hotel . Extremely clean and modern . About 40 mins walk to protaras but its a lovely boardwalk all the way with numerous bars and little beach areas . The hotel staff are extremely helpful and cheerful . 2 alacarte visits allowed which were superb. The food was one of the best all inclusive we have had . So much choice with live cooking areas and zero repetitive options . Bar had some premium spirits like Bacardi , and Gins . Special thanks to Constantino the PR manager who always offered help and advice. A real credit to the company. We have had a few years of disappointing holidays to likes of majorca, corfu, Rhodes but glad to say we have no problem returning to this hotel and resort but maybe not in July as its boiling hot lol !! Should of booked 2 weeks instead . If you are thinking of booking this hotel dont worry you wont be disappointed "

"On our last night here and can honestly say that this is by far the friendliest hotel we've ever stayed at. Rooms are small but adequate and the air-conditioning is brilliant, the only gripe about the room is the shower that would be perfect if you manage to keep the water inside the cubicle. The outside bar is great, although I would have personally preferred Keo rather than Kappa on the pump. The food was good although we eat out a lot due to the abundance of eateries with delicious food nearby. A final shout out to all the staff as everyone that I have interacted with has been brilliant."
