Hotel Arkadia ★★★★
"Ok, this review will be a bit long... not so .. just a bit :) Before booking this at hotel, i read some reviews and they scared me. But the location of the hotel is so good that i could not not to book here. Price for 12 days was fair, and of course breakfast was included. Staff: all of them helpful and very kind, spot on! Breakfast: its average, nothing special, but you can always find some bites for your taste. Im very picky ,but even i could find always some to eat. Room: i was so happy when i entered our room (202) . I liked the style of the room, small but very cozy, it got a positive vibe. Our room was cleaned like every other day which was absolutely fine. All in all it was for us an amazing stay , very quiet which is the most important to me. I am happy i chose this hotel and i didnt listen for the bad negative reviews. Yes, there are things to improve, but those are minor issues. Just some ideas to improve the overall experience of this hotel: - check all toilets if the pressure works properly (in our room it was a bit tricky to flush) - check regularly small dirty scratches caused by suitcases and clean it (usually comes off with water) - maybe consider to stack up the fridge... minibar? - a kettle would've been nice ... to drink a tea or coffee. - in the breakfast area, keep the chairs clean, and the walls also. I think with these ideas you would drastically improve the overall image of the hotel. I wish all of you the best, and thank you again for the nice experience! Have a great day."
Corso Hotel Pécs ★★★★
"The hotel is located near the University of Pécs, in the triangular center of the Old Town Square, Zsolney Cultural Park and the train station. It only takes ten minutes to walk anywhere (in terms of travel, you can stay anywhere in a city as small as Pecs). The environment is quiet and the room size is good. Larger, facilities meet needs, clean and tidy, twins can be made into a large bed. There is no free drinking water in the room, and the quilt is a little thin. Overall a good place to live."
Vulkán Wellness Panzió ★★★
"New hotel, nice rooms, private wellness facility, buffet breakfast. Very close to Zsolnay square and Kodaly Concert hall. I recommend!"
Hotel Laterum ★★★★
"I recently stayed here for one night and this was an ok experience. Check-in was smooth but lacked a bit of friendliness; no smiles, no 'welcome to our hotel', The room was big and clean as was the bathroom, but in comparison with the room size, this was a small area. The shower door didn't close properly but on the other hand the shower was excellent. Bed's were ok. Soundproofing is not the strongest point here. Breakfast in the morning exceeded my expectations and was really good with plenty of choice. Add to this ample and free parking space and you end up with a solid passing score."
Fibula Residence Hotel & Wellness - Adults Only ★★★★
"OK OK OK"
König Hotel ★★★
"The hotel isn't large, but the rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy, exceeding my expectations. The bathroom was spacious and very clean, much better than anticipated. It's very close to tourist attractions, all within walking distance. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was clearly well-prepared. Highly recommended!"
Hotel Makar Sport & Wellness ★★★★
"The hotel is in a residential area (unusual for a hotel). It has a few parking spaces in front and a small parking lot in the inner courtyard. The rooms are large and spacious. The bathroom is okay and clean. The carpet in the room is quite worn. The rooms on the upper floor have a balcony, while the ground floor rooms have access to an inner courtyard (perfect for smokers). The pool is quite small, and the rubber lining was wrinkled. A few major downsides: it was very difficult to communicate in English at the reception! The second downside is breakfast: plenty of fruit, but the rest of the dishes were limited in variety: only omelette, sausages, and wieners, a few types of cheese, and yogurt. For a 4-star location, this is too little. We arrived for breakfast on the first day at 9:10, and the food was almost gone, with no replenishments despite breakfast being served until 10:30 on weekends. What bothered me the most was the attitude of the lady who seemed to be the manager; she refused to serve a couple who arrived for breakfast at 10:15. She closed the door and drew the curtain. For dinner, the menu options were limited and expensive. We ordered a dish, they came back and proposed something else, then returned and proposed yet another option. As a result, we ate in the city for the rest of our stay."
Sándor Hotel ★★★★
"Fine hotel with a sauna and a small pool to relax for a bit. The beds are a bit on the hard side, but that is a matter of personal preference."
Palatinus Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"Palatinus Boutique Hôtel is the little sister of the larger Palatinus Grand right beside it. It sits right on the pedestrianized Old Town center - you couldn't get any better location than that! The rooms are quite large, with a wooden cabinet complex that divides the room into a foyer and the bedroom area. It also has a balcony large enough for two chairs and a table. Great place to have coffee in the late afternoon as we did. The long wall of the room was all mirrors and sliding doors. The walls were in striking dark green color, which was set apart against the brown veneer of the wood cabinets, and the orange upholstered headboard. Unusually, they even had a hat rack which we found useful to hang all sorts of stuff. The elevator walls were lined with pretty French painting fabric. And there were various seating areas on all floors. The elevator was slow but the stairs were nicely decorated in thick patterned rug patters. All the hallways were tastefully decorated as well. Then you had a sliding green door that revealed the T&B. For a boutique hotel, breakfast was pretty good, with mushroomed scrambled eggs, three types of sausages, and fresh orange juice."
