Mr. Charoensup
I had an incredible 2-night stay at Best World Vision Villa in Koh Samui. The hospitality was superb from start to finish. The view from the villa was breathtaking, and the pool was sparkling clean. The rooms were beautifully done up and very comfortable.
One highlight was the BBQ seafood dinner we requested. It was prepared with a classy table setting and featured more than 8 delicious dishes, just for the two of us. The whole team was exceptional, with Mr. Joey and Seyha coordinating our stay flawlessly.
I highly recommend booking their villa’s driver, as he is very experienced with the challenging mountain roads. Driving there can be quite dangerous for someone unfamiliar with the area. For convenience, you can also order Grab food delivery, but be mindful to do so when it’s not raining, as the steep roads can be slippery for the riders.
They also have an in-villa dining menu, which offers excellent service and delicious options. Despite being very affordable, this villa provides the best views and an outstanding overall experience. I can’t wait to return!

Shi Xian LimI stayed one night at IDA B DOMAIN and the experience was truly unforgettable. We stayed in the Junior Suite, but it already felt like a presidential suite. The room was incredibly spacious and luxurious, with a big hot tub that was super comfortable for two people to soak in and relax together.
We informed the hotel in advance that it was our anniversary, and they surprised us with beautiful decorations, which made the stay even more special. The service felt very intimate and personal—they even added us into a WhatsApp group chat so we could message the staff directly anytime. Filmm and the rest of the hotel staff made us feel completely at home throughout our stay.
The resort itself felt like we were staying in the owner’s private villa. There were so many facilities available, including a cinema room, snooker room, sauna, gym, a lovely garden, and beautiful paintings displayed throughout the resort. We also had dinner at the resort’s restaurant, and it was absolutely out of this world—honestly felt like dining at a high-end fine dining restaurant.
One thing to note is that the hotel is quite out of the way, located on a hill/mountain area. It’s best to arrange transportation with the hotel, or arrange your own ride and inform the driver that the route is very hilly. It’s not advisable to drive up on your own if you’ve rented a car that isn’t suitable for steep slopes. Overall, this was an exceptional and memorable stay that I would highly recommend for a special occasion.

Everything was wonderful. It's such a shame the hotel is closing.
P.S. I'd like to address those people who complain about children. Please, choose 'adults-only' hotels and you won't have any problems. While at the hotel, my little daughter and I had an unpleasant incident (a ginger-bearded American dared to shush me because my little one was making noise).

We spent 6 nights in the Mekkala and had a great stay. It was very quiet, but very close to restaurants and the beach.
Our room was on the ground floor and was very spacious and comfortable. Outside was a patio with pool access right there. Also there was a table and chairs out there along with an area to lounge on a very comfortable couch.
Breakfast was available and cooked to order.
Everywhere was clean and the staff were really nice. There was a place to hire a car or bike right next door and next door but 1 took in washing, had taxis and could arrange trips which we did.
All in all we would definitely recommend this hotel and if we ever return to Samui would definately go back to the Mekkala.

Paul R THHave stayed at this hotel previously. Rooms are clean and modern. Food at hotel is great. The majority of the staff are great. There is a new bar located next to the hotel and the noise level reached 105 decibels according to my iPhone. I complained to the hotel and they said they could not do anything. I called the Tourist Police on 191 and went in person to the bar to complain. They then reduced the volume. This is something the hotel management should have done, yet never. I complained bitterly to their management, yet they were useless. If you want something done, clearly you need to do it yourself.

Generally we really enjoyed our stay. There are only 2 things that weren’t good.
1. The sound isolation.
On our last day the people above us decided to drink and listen to loud music. Since the rooms are basically not insulated we were able to hear everything and well then it is basically a gamble if you have silebt people or loud people around you.
2. We really disliked the bedsheets. At the end of the night they were always somewhere but not in the bed. I expecially didn’t like the one for the blanket.
Otherwise we really liked our stay.
They have a nice pool(appears bigger in the pictures than it is )
The breakfast was great
The staff was very friendly
There is a shortcut to the beach so like a 5-7min walk to the beach

I’m laying on a sunbed (in the shade as I write this). We read the reviews before we arrived, So here’s the latest..
Pick a room that’s right for you… As with a lot of hotels they are just off or on the main road, if you’re after tranquility you need to pick a sea view room. If you’re used to living next to a busy road (cars & moped) as we were, then the mountain side view rooms were fine for us. Family Room was large, with plenty enough space. Room was great, although if I was to be very picky, shower door and carpet could be improved, everything else in room was great. Just so you know, cars & mopeds are always going past throughout the day and night.
Beach is shallow water with rough sand and small rocks beneath the water. It is a lovely spot, although you’d need to head right for a stroll before you find a less rocky beach to practically swim in.
Location: head to Crystal Bay (15 min walk) or head the other direction (15 min walk). Close by is a public outdoor gym, basically in the sea. Obviously equipment is basic but you can always go to an air conditioned gym near by.
Hotel service and employee are great, pool & beach towels & sunbeds provided . Breakfast is high quality geared towards healthier eating. Various yoga classes going on, which seem popular but not something we do.
The usual Thai street food ,
Restaurants and 7-11 stores within walking distance.

Guest UserThe staff were very pleasent and accommodating, the pools were nice and clean, unfortunately the beach in front of the hotel is terrible, there is no beach directly in front of the hotel and the rest of the bay is covered in oil and quite unkept.

We booked a room for three people and overall had a pleasant stay. The air-conditioning was very cold and worked well, which made the room comfortable. However, the bathroom/shower area was quite small and a bit uncomfortable to use.
One nice feature is the veranda, where you can relax and hang out outside. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which is a plus. The location is great,it’s very close to Natien Beach, just a short walking distance. In the evening, it’s lovely to hang out by the beach and enjoy a beautiful sunset.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in early since we arrived ahead of time, which we really appreciated. The hotel WiFi is strong and available in every corner of the property.
Overall, a good stay with excellent service and location.

DokStefPleasant Stay with Excellent Service in Chaweng
I recently stayed at Lotus Friendly Hotel in Chaweng with my wife and baby. The hotel boasts cleanliness and spaciousness, with daily room cleaning ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing us with valuable information.
One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the hotel's restaurant, which offered delicious Mediterranean-style cuisine. The restaurant staff were exceptional, making our dining experience truly memorable. They were also incredibly friendly and accommodating towards our baby, which made us feel even more welcome.
The hotel's location was convenient, with a Seven Eleven and several restaurants nearby, making it easy to access essentials and dining options. Additionally, the beach was just a 2-minute walk away, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful coastline effortlessly. While the city center was a bit further, a 20-minute walk provided an opportunity to explore more of Chaweng.
The only minor downside was the noise at night, which is perhaps typical of the vibrant atmosphere in Chaweng. However, this did not significantly detract from our overall experience, as the hotel's other amenities and exceptional service more than made up for it.
Overall, I highly recommend Lotus Friendly Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Chaweng. The combination of cleanliness, spaciousness, excellent service, and convenient location makes it a top choice for travelers. We look forward to returning in the future.
