I originally wanted to find a good hotel in Menghai to spend New Year's Eve. I made a temporary reservation and read the reviews. Well, the hotel is located in the Tea Horse Road Resort. Because we had to leave early the next morning, there were no park sightseeing plans in the original plan. The staff learned that they would run a separate park train before getting off work, which would delay people's New Year's Eve dinner. There are many independent villas in the hotel. Since there are tour buses in the park to pick up and drop off the front desk to their respective villas, I have to leave at 6 o'clock on the first day of the new year. The staff will be waiting at the door of the B&B at 6 o'clock as agreed to help pick up the luggage, help put it in the car, say goodbye and watch off to leave. Let’s talk about the hotel facilities. The independent villas are located among the tea forests. There are several villages in the form of villages. The items in the rooms in the villa area are high-end decoration + five-star hotel supplies standards. There is a separate terrace to sit on the tea forest and a full set of tea sets. You can grab it directly outside. Just a few tablets can make tea, so it’s great to go early and drink tea in the afternoon to relax while flying to DJI. This has been such a wonderful stay! The hotel staff were so polite and friendly in every interaction. Dana, one of the receptionists, added me on WeChat at check-in and messaged to ask if there was anything we needed each day of our stay! (My Chinese speaking skills are not great.) The room was very clean and our balcony overlooked the pool. The breakfast buffet offered many options. The hot springs were very relaxing and there were many outdoor pools of varying temperatures, so it did not feel crowded at all. There's a wonderful 'park' about a five minute walk up the hill with a hiking trail that leads to the top of a hill/small mountain and offers a beautiful view. Very peaceful and relaxing. There are a number of hammocks and swings on the way to the viewpoint. There are also other places to walk, nice viewpoints, what looked to be an obstacle course, a pink sand area, and more at the 'park.' We chose to eat our dinners at nearby restaurants - there is one affordable lakefront restaurant about a fifteen minute walk down the hill that we liked a lot. The hotel has several golf carts that depart/arrive from the lobby entrance if you want them to take you to the hot springs or the restaurants area. You can call the hotel and they'll come pick you up as well. Although this hotel is not close to the main Xishuangbanna tourist attractions, it is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for fantastic service, beautiful facilities, and a relaxing trip. I would absolutely stay here again!
