We had a good stay at Riviera Hotel Macau. The location is good, it’s quiet. Had a great view of the Macau Tower and walking distance to Our Lady of Penha church. The room was clean and have all the basic nessesities for a comfortable stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed there for 6 nights and 6 days. they served same breakfast everyday. We didn’t mind at first but overtime, we started to crave variety. Eating the same thing everyday can become monotonous, even if it’s delicious. If would be nicer if they could serve breakfast with different dishes every other days. Overall, we had a good stay.

This was a very nice stay away from main Casino district (Taipa) in Macau, and we (as a family) loved it. Let me give you few bullets 1. After booking, I send email to hotel, but there was no reply for 48 hours. 2. when enquired through Trip.com, though the booking was with Club Millesime, the first answer was no access to Longue. When enquired again, Longue access was confirmed (sound like they obliged). 3. Reaching Hotel by taxi (from HZMB port) is appx 30 minutes taxi ride (120 HKD) - on reaching hotel, we found they have bus from the port every 30 minuets - details missing on their website. 4. Check-in experience was good, no delay, no unnecessary question. 5. Pleasent surprise was level of English-speaking staff at hotel. we always found someone to talk to and find required information. 6. Club Millesime (Longue - L17) available for food three times a day - Afternoon High tea, Late evening Happy Hours and morning Breakfast. Though the food options are limited (specially for Vegetarian people), we found the place enjoyable. 7. We explored the old city (opposite to hotel) in afternoon, and it was wonderful experience. we went to Fort and Wall and possibly best narrow streets in the world. 8. Rooms were good, comfortable sleep, nice TV options (TV speakers were bad while watching movie). 9. Sofitel is working hard on Environmental stuff, you can see it everywhere in room. No water bottle, no plastic, no loose item for tooth paste, lotion, shampoo, comb etc. 10. Morning breakfast (at L6) was good, good spread and many items were fresh. During holiday period, you may need to way for some time. There were a few vegetarian options for breakfast. 11. Checkout process was very easy. 12. I couldn't experience fitness center, swimming pool and restaurant due to other priorities. check few photos (room details for more information.

Very nice hotel. Not attached to a huge casino and tho the sands is next door. I prefer this type of hotel size personally Swimming pool and gym, nice spread for breakfast, tho extra cost. Pleasant staff. All round good stay. On a personal note, I prefer a room that has access to fresh air rather than just air con. Bay view image.

The hotel is very clean and I thought very well decorated and designed. The room was much bigger than I expected and had 2 very nice places to sit by the windows - one breakfast bar and one cushioned window sill. My one suggestion would be to have a shower bracket on the wall to make the shower hands free. The bathtub is nice but if you want to shower, it could be more convenient. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Shuttle bus is convenient.

Not enough bars actually in hotel, the Galley really only has 1 beer. Fishermen's Wharf area has clubs, but these open very late. Breakfast selection is large,but sometimes, things that should be kept hot are cold, i.e., baked beans. Coffee machine needs a replacement, no latte or hot milk option. Coffee is very strong. The room was a very good size and seems well maintained. Staff at Breakfast need updating about guests, they were very insistent that I had no Breakfast with my room. Shown them booking,still very loud go to reception, luckily manager turned up ,checked my booking and it was correct. Would recommend this place.

A perfect swap for the over expensive hotels which of course are nice but this is a great substitute. A cinema around the corner, a bank and a 7/11. YOU MUST take a taxi if travelling from Gongbei port, Zhuhai. the buses are packed at all times and the taxi will be a max of 110MOP$ but it’s worth it. The Taxi doesn’t take yuan, or weixin. Only Macao Cash, but there are many Bank Of China’s. As a Londoner living in China on Business Macao is a lovely little stay and Regency was awesome. Looks like a five star hotel and the staff are incredible. They don’t have usb’s in all room so make sure you have a 3 point plug or adapter to charge just in case. The location isn’t great, but even with the taxis you save money.

I had a comfortable stay with Hotel Golden Dragon on my first solo trip to Macau. Staff were warm and welcoming and were really helpful when I needed help with directions. Room was clean and amenities were topped up promptly during the daily room cleaning! I liked how the sheets and towels smelt and felt clean and fresh. The hotel is close to the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and the shuttle terminal is also located nearby (apparently it has been temporarily moved to near Casino Oceanus due to renovation works at the ferry terminal). The only disappointment was the location for me. Although it’s close to the shuttle bus terminal and to public bus stops, I felt like it was not as “convenient” if I chose to stay near the Taipa area. But nonetheless I could be spoilt due to Singapore’s public transport system. Light rail works seems to be expanding and I do hope the next time I visit Macau, I could consider my stay with them again if public transportation or shuttle service is more convenient. Oh, last feedback would be hotel’s hair dryer is really dated which was a little hard to use.

Very good hotel room with jacuzzi tub, sauna, steam room in the bathroom itself. Room is spacious enough and very comfortable bed. Breakfast is good. Can choose between western or chinese. Great location and very accessible to anywhere in Macau area. Overall had a very relaxing holiday.

I arrived at the hotel around 1 PM for check-in and had a smooth start, with the staff kindly holding onto my luggage while I explored the property until my room was ready at 3 PM. The grounds are spacious and inviting, with beautiful surroundings that immediately set a relaxed mood. My first attempt to access the room was a bit of a hiccup as my key card didn’t work, but the staff was quick to assist. They explained that the room key shouldn’t be kept with a phone, as the phone could deactivate it—a small but helpful tip. Once inside, I found a tidy and cozy room. It wasn’t perfect, but the balcony offered a stunning view of the sea that more than made up for any minor imperfections. There were a few ants here and there, even on the bed, but given the lush greenery outside and the open balcony, it was understandable. It added a bit of nature’s charm! I enjoyed a refreshing swim in the pools, and the chinese restaurant was a highlight with some truly delicious dim sum. Overall, my stay was pleasant, and I’d happily return to soak in that amazing sea view again.
