The hotel room and service were very good. The staff was very friendly and always supporting on our needs. The gym and swimming pool was also very nice.
The only thing we were missing is western style breakfast options.

The Harbour View Hotel may not be one of Macao’s finest names but it is nevertheless an excellent establishment if you can’t afford a stay at the Wynn or the MGM.
Its location is pretty decent, close to the Fisherman’s Wharf complex, right by the sea, and about 5-10 minutes walk from shops and restaurants (pro-tip: cut through the large square opposite the hotel). You can also walk quite easily to the MGM, Wynn, Grand Lisboa and Senado square.
The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the swimming pool is quite the eye-candy too, with a good length, and jacuzzis!
We are the only urban resort in the city, with a large heated outdoor swimming pool surrounded by lush gardens. Our award-winning spa also offers authentic relaxing treatments and private outdoor jacuzzis. Our sports facilities include 3 tennis courts, a fitness and exercise room. For our family guests, KidsCo, the adventure playground keeps the little ones busy.Set in the heart of Macau, near stunning UNESCO world heritage sites, boutique lifestyle hotel Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau offers a window into the city’s culturally rich heritage. Love this hotel so so much! Highly recommend this hotel in Macau!
”Attention to details” is always what I looking for, as a person working in the hospitality industry for years. Through every small thing, you can tell so much effort that this hotel’s whole team put into it.
I was attending an event last weekend with my workmates. We had a very tight schedule, we don't need too much entertainment in the hotel, I was looking for an accommodation that we could work and relax at the same time, so I booked Aytyzen Grand Lapa. There's no disappointment found.
The front desk staff warmly greeted us and introduced the hotel facilities in details, very gentle tone to reminds me should enjoy the moment in this gorgeous place.
The room is beautiful, clean and neat.
The washroom amenities are well chosen, the aroma is pleasant and the texture is pleasant high quality which really enhance the whole experience of the room.
The location is good too, the neighbourhood is quiet and safe. Walking distance 12 mins to reach the attraction Guan Yin Statue Macau. Enjoy having an easy walk after dinner from hotel.
Next day, we called housekeeper in the morning to refill the coffee mate, the housekeeping lady approached with smile and asked if we need anything else.
I had a very good sleep with comfy environment, bed is good, temperature is perfect, lighting is just right.
Enjoyed watching the street with my coffee, nice view from the room.
The other thing I was looking forward is the swimming pool! It looks beautiful in the photos, and it truly is!My colleague could swim in the morning then got refresh, this is like a bonus in a business trip.
Visited the cake shop after we checked out, the cakes looks amazing, and I really like they have Macau themed pastry - Bolo Fios de Ovos.
We enjoyed the stating and definitely will come back next time!

Not enough bars actually in hotel, the Galley really only has 1 beer.
Fishermen's Wharf area has clubs, but these open very late.
Breakfast selection is large, but sometimes, things that should be kept hot are cold, i.e., baked beans.
Coffee machine needs a replacement, no latte or hot milk option. Coffee is very strong.
The room was a very good size and seems well maintained.
Staff at Breakfast need updating about guests, they were very insistent that I had no Breakfast with my room. Shown them booking, still very loud go to reception, luckily manager turned up ,checked my booking and it was correct.
Would recommend this place.

We had a great experience at the Golden Dragon!
Pros:
- amazing upgraded room
- friendly staff
- tasty restaurant
- free shuttle buses to various sites and casinos
Cons:
- slow and inadequate WiFi (I couldn't even have a video call for work)
- booking included a 10% discount voucher for the Macau Tower, but they didn't give it to us
- they wouldn't provide clean coffee cups or a bowl for cereal
Definitely recommend if you don't need reliable WiFi.

To celebrate my mate’s birthday, I whisked her away on an unforgettable trip to Macao. We stayed at Rocks Hotel, nestled in the charming Fisherman’s Wharf on the Macao Peninsula. The hotel room was a dream—designed like a castle with exquisite vintage furniture that instantly captured her heart. To make the occasion even more special, the hotel surprised us with a complimentary cake and upgraded our stay to a stunning ocean-view room. Their thoughtful touch even extended to providing luxurious L’Occitane amenities.
We captured countless memories with thousands of photos and cherished every moment of this magical celebration. A heartfelt thank you goes to the warm and attentive staff who made our stay truly remarkable.

I arrived at 1300 hours, but the room was only available at 1500 hours. We requested a late check-out but were only allowed to stay until 1200 hours the next day. I even received a reminder phone call at 1155 hours, which seemed like they were urgently pushing me to leave

I recently stayed at City Viva Hotel in Macau and had a mixed experience. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. However, there were a few issues that affected my comfort during my stay.
The main issue I encountered was with the room temperature—it was impossible to adjust it to a warmer setting, which made the room feel quite cold. As a result, I had to wear a jacket inside the room to stay comfortable. Additionally, the air quality was a concern; despite the hotel being clean, the environment felt smoky throughout my stay. There was a constant smoky odor in the air, which was unpleasant and detracted from the overall comfort of the room.
I was also required to pay a deposit of HK$500 at check-in, which is something to be aware of when booking your stay.
Overall, while the hotel is clean and offers decent amenities, the temperature control and smoky environment were drawbacks that impacted my experience.

Good location near the historical centre to walk. Big nice room for affordable money. Nice pool on the 23 floor, but we had no time to try it. The breakfast is very poor, no vegatebles such as tomato and cucumber at breakfast. Absolutely same food for 2 days. No options for vegan.
The hotel is in a great location. You can walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. You can store your luggage at the counter. The wifi is fast and convenient. 👍🏻
Unfortunately, the bathroom in the room is a bit small. There are a lot of dandruff in the bath towels. It is recommended to bring your own

BBaba láWe expected a true five-star experience, but this hotel barely reaches a 3.5 or 4-star level in terms of service and facilities.
We requested a high-floor, non-smoking room and were even upgraded to a suite. However, the hallways and air conditioning carried a strong cigarette smell. Unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring issue in hotels with frequent Chinese guests.
Breakfast was another major letdown. If you book a room with breakfast included through Trip, you’ll be dining at The Market Bistro, but don’t expect a buffet. Instead, you get a limited choice between a Western or Chinese set menu. For a supposed five-star hotel, the quality is extremely poor—terrible coffee, packaged toast, greasy and fried food, and no fresh fruit or natural juice. The “pastry selection” consists of one processed croissant, two slices of toast, and a Danish.
The hotel is also overcrowded, with the reception and rooms located far apart, requiring long walks each time you go back and forth.
For just 300 - 400 Mops more, you could stay at The St. Regis or another luxury hotel (low season) that offers far better value for money. Don’t be misled by Trip reviews—this hotel does not live up to the five-star rating it claims.
MMandyThe hotel is family friendly. I was with my 6-month-old baby and the hotel offered baby crib and stroller for us. We also got some baby bath items.
We booed the Celebrity Tower but then the indoor swimming pool is for guests who stay in Star Tower only. We did not know about that. I did not know we can choose to stay in which tower, I only chose the room.
We got to try the indoor pool at the end because the outdoor pool was closed due to maintenance. We visited in February, it’s still not very warm so we were happy we got to use the indoor pool.
GGuest UserYou can forget about early checkin. Could only preregister strictly after 1230pm and had to come back for room key collection from 3pm onwards. The hotel requires 1000HKD for room deposit. We requested for twin beds but was informed there would be additional charges unlike other establishments who not only accommodated to our requests but they also did their best to make our stay memorable. Honestly we expected better service for the price paid. Wouldn’t consider staying here again when we could get better service elsewhere.
BBertonCheungThe spacious room and the spectacular view is the only highlight in my opinion. Maybe my expectation is a bit high after staying with Andaz, which provided an excellent and all-rounded experience. For example, we have made an earlier request for late check out when doing the check in, but get rejected by the check-in staff. They didn't consider your membership status nor the birthday. Please don't expect any perks or rewards. The room was not ready when we were there. So we stored our luggage at the front desk. When we came back, the stored luggage was not directly sent to your room. You needed to reclaim your stuff at the concierge. I was a bit disappointed. The location is not prime and at the far corner of the whole district. Staying here with the gold elite status and on your birthday will not bring you anything extra, even though you have made remarks earlier. Definitely, not the first pick in Macau.
AAnonymous UserVisited the venetian and stayed for 3 nights. Hotel was beautiful and room was big. Downside was I was given a room on a floor that was going through upgrading works and the smell of fresh paint was overbearing and lingered in the air throughout my stay giving me a bad headache. Thankfully I was not staying for long.
Other than that, room was clean and housekeeping made up room ans replenished amenities daily.
Casino is just downstairs and there are many eateries and in room dining available. Unfortunately, food is very expensive and wasn't really tasty.
There is shuttle service from the airport to the hotel for free.
SSara ArdeliaWe loved our extraordinarily large room with separate living and bedroom and the lovely scent. Despite its quite minimum lighting, overall we enjoyed our experiences along with its l’occitane amenities. Some people complain about its location being too far from most other sites with limited shuttle options, but we found it quite convenient after knowing that we managed to use Grand Lisboa Palace shuttle services. The shopping mall connected to the hotel was also a reliable option. Our room came with an afternoon tea set which was great though the service could have been better about the tea and drink included.
Ssk_23Location: Very convenient, the door is the bus stop, from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge take 102x directly to the door.
check in: Staff doesn't understand Cantonese, no deposit required, room card is designated (only one)
Lifts: bright enough, big enough, there are 2, to take cards to the room
Corridor: Light, no odor (however someone opened the door to the rooftop in the morning, which was a bit weird
Door: Normal, thick, good soundproofing
Bathroom: Light, two towels each, good hygiene, no smell, clean towels with bathtub, however a bit high, be careful when entering and exiting.
Minibar: Has normal stuff, no snacks, fridge is not cold (out of water), has two bottles of water.
Bed: The pillows are one hard and one soft, the sheets are a little stained (acceptable), the duvet is warm enough with a USB plug at the headboard, but the light switch is a bit too bright
Air conditioning: Relatively slow, you can adjust the temperature yourself
Window: Curtains for blackout, but the light will burst between the curtains, the view is average (nor book this hotel for the view)
Hair dryer: normal wind, normal temperature
Wifi: Relatively weak, interrupts itself from time to time.
TV: To turn on yourself (remote control can not be turned on), not HD
Check out: Because there is no deposit, so put down the room card and leave
JJosephineExcellent service, clean and comfortable room, quiet and easy-to-reach location, cute Line cartoon characters at hotel lobby and shopping mall, bus stop just outside the hotel and only 5-mins walk to light rail station, I think it’s the best for a relaxing holiday trip.
TThe HotelierMy recent stay at the YOHO Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Macau was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in the vibrant heart of the city, this stylish hotel perfectly blends modern aesthetics with a rich cinematic history, offering a unique escape for both relaxation and exploration.
Upon arrival, I was instantly captivated by the hotel's sleek design and welcoming ambiance. The lobby, adorned with Hollywood memorabilia, set the stage for a delightful experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff greeted me with genuine warmth, making me feel like a valued guest from the get-go.
I stayed in a spacious and beautifully decorated room that exuded comfort and elegance. The plush bed was a dream to sink into after a day of exploring Macau's attractions. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as high-quality toiletries and a coffee machine, that added to the overall experience. The large windows offered stunning views of the city, especially mesmerizing at night when the skyline lit up.
One of the standout features of the YOHO Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is its outstanding dining options. I had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant, where I savored exquisite local dishes made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was chic and vibrant, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
The hotel’s location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions like the historic city center and luxurious casinos. After a day of sightseeing, the rooftop pool provided a relaxing oasis to unwind and soak in the scenic views.
Overall, my experience at YOHO Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel was exceptional. The combination of its stylish decor, attentive service, delectable dining, and prime location makes it a top choice for any traveler visiting Macau. I left feeling refreshed and inspired, already planning my next visit!
KKwee LanGot a double single bed room. Was very big. Every was good. Best part was I get to choose the firmness of my pillows within the room. The only disappointment was the so called international breakfast seems to have mainly Chinese food. Also, to maintain the Holiday Inn standard, probably should get rid of the stains around the bath tub/bath area.
