"Such a great little Homestay close to the main ticket office for the Great Wall :) they were super helpful - helped organise a taxi for me to and from the wall (5 minutes in the car) for sunrise and also arranged a taxi to drive me all the way back to Beijing for 500CNY! Super clean and simple rooms, plus the home cooked food was good too! The husband and wife who own it are lovely! Would come back and recommend:)"

"What can I say other than WOW, great farmhouse in a beautiful quiet setting over looking the Great Wall. Rooms were very modern, spotlessly clean with hairdryer and toiletries massive windows to look at the incredible view. The food we had was delicious good price 86 yuan including 2 big beers. We also used there taxi to get to the water town and back to the train station. They sell snacks and water at a very good price also. Book this you will and have the wall to Yourself more or less and some home cooked food and a lovely sleep Thank you wanping farmhouse."

The front desk staff may be unfamiliar with the procedures and a bit slow, but otherwise, it's fine. Facilities: All facilities are new and very good."

"The location of the guest house is just perfect,only 10 minutes walk from the mid entrance of the great wall. From there you can explore the Wall walking east and it’s the best,very few people. But the best thing about the accomodation is the sweet family managing it! The food is just delicious,with huge portions and big choice! The lady also gave me a big help to find a good taxi to go back to Gobeikou. Especially when you travel solo it’ is really nice to see such big smiles and help! I can only recommend it!"
