"Good environment, clean and quiet, pure French villa, white corridor, wooden furniture, clean bathroom, definitely worth the trip. The only regret is that there may be too few people staying. Breakfast is not a buffet and the Asian breakfast is terrible. The Western breakfast is still very good."

"The room is not big, only the bed, table and chairs are outside the room door, and the suitcase can only be opened on the floor. The mattress is comfortable, the bathroom is large enough, and the wet and dry areas are separated. There are only closed windows in the whole room, and ventilation is done by opening the door, which is not very effective."

"I traveled from Vientiane, Vangrong to Luang Prabang. I couldn't give good reviews to the hotels in the first two places, but I gave a thumbs up to this hotel. The decoration style is full of Southeast Asian style, and the floor tiles and lighting all reveal the store's care. The garden is lush and green. The best thing is its breakfast and afternoon tea. The jams and juices are all made in-house, so there is no need to worry about additives. The location is very convenient. It only takes two minutes to walk to the Mekong River and 5 to 10 minutes to walk to the Foreigner Street. There are scenery on the way to wherever you go. The free bicycles accompanied us through two happy days. I will continue to stay here next time."

"There are many hotels in Luang Prabang, each with its own characteristics. This hotel was renovated from the former home of the Lao prince. Although there are not many rooms, the public areas are very rich and it is an ideal place for vacation. The breakfast is great, with a Chinese menu. The waiter is very polite and thoughtful. After ordering rice noodles, the chili sauce that Chinese people love is immediately delivered, which really won my heart 🤗. The various breads for breakfast are also very delicious. People who don’t like bread have to eat two pieces every day! The front desk service is also standardized online, and the male waiters are generally more enthusiastic! The room cleaning is very thoughtful and meticulous, at least twice a day, keeping the room clean and tidy at all times! On the first day, the tip was placed on the bedside table, but they didn’t take it. On the second day, it was specially placed on the quilt and taken away. It can be seen that the service training is still very strict! The room is large and comfortable to live in. The bedding and bath towels are very comfortable! Talk about the shortcomings. The room is not very soundproof. The waiter cleans outside in the morning, and the sound is very clear. If you live downstairs, the sound upstairs is very clear. If you encounter people who go to bed late and get up early, it will affect the quality of rest downstairs. Another point is that the hotel does not have a pick-up service. Many hotels will provide pick-up and drop-off services within the town at any time, or even pick-up and drop-off services at the airport and high-speed rail. In addition, the hotel is a little off-site. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk to any place. It is impossible to walk under the scorching sun. You need to take a tuk-tuk every time. The price of tuk-tuks in Luang Prabang has skyrocketed in recent years. Even if you only take a five-minute ride, the starting price is 20,000 per person (about 6 yuan in total), and it is calculated per person. It is more expensive than taking a taxi in any major city in China! When going to the high-speed rail station, the price of the hotel's delivery is 25 US dollars, and I immediately ordered a 99 yuan delivery service on Mafengwo. Except for the fact that I was not satisfied with the trip, the hotel vacation was really good, and I should go there again in the future."

"Laos is not a rich country, but luxury hotels seem to be particularly fond of this country, especially Luang Prabang. Among them is Amantaka, which is a must-visit for Aman enthusiasts.
During my half month in Laos, I experienced all the good hotels in this country. As expected, Amantaka is the best. The noble experience begins when the front office manager personally drives to the previous hotel to pick you up. The appearance of every customer service person in the entire hotel seems to be strictly controlled. They are all pure and peaceful, so that wherever you walk in the hotel and meet the staff, you will see the pure and kind smiling faces, which will calm your heart. ,slow down. Although the hotel is located in the center of the city, it is quiet amidst the hustle and bustle. The hotel provides free shuttle tutu service to facilitate guests to explore the ancient city; it also thoughtfully provides free afternoon tea and laundry services. After swimming, you can use the steam and sauna rooms, and the facilities are well equipped. Monks will pass by the hotel entrance, and the hotel will provide free supplies and sticky rice to guests who want to experience alms. The hotel also gives guests woven bags and hats as souvenirs. It was an unforgettable and perfect experience in Amman Targah, and I hope to come back next time for a sunset cruise."
"The service is very good, and the environment is also very good. When you open the window in the morning, you can hear the stream and birds. The atmosphere of the whiskey bar at night is also very good. They also used a luxury nanny car to send my friend back to other hotels, which is free.
I stayed during the Spring Festival. The water in the swimming pool was still a little cold at night and I couldn't swim. The breakfast was a little slow and I waited for 45 minutes before it was served."
"Environment: The hotel is so beautiful! It has a sense of history! The breakfast area overlooks the Mekong River, and the sunset is beautiful!
Hygiene: Well maintained
Facilities: It has a sense of history and is integrated into the environment! The breakfast is rich!
Service: Great! When I first checked in, the shower water pressure was very low. I told the front desk and it was quickly resolved!
Except for the remote location and limited shuttle bus time, there is nothing wrong with it. Of course, you can also choose to find a car by yourself, but the cost is a little expensive."

"The location is not easy to find, not relying on the road, there is no such hotel on Google Maps, there are too many similar hotel inn on the Mekong River. The driver who sent us from the airport put us on the road and went to find forty. Minutes, asking for directions everywhere, only found in the ”village” road; the waiter is very enthusiastic; the hardware is made of solid wood; the occupancy rate is not high, the room is heavy, the bed is moist, the table stool is very thick dust!"
"1⃣️Advantages: high cost performance, no price increase during the Spring Festival; hotel service staff are enthusiastic and speak fluent English; there is a swimming pool. 2⃣️Disadvantages: It is far from the city center, and the hotel only has three shuttle buses a day; the facilities are old, we booked four rooms, the second floor room was okay, the first floor waterfront room was damp and musty, and there were many spiders; hotel The phone number I left was wrong, I couldn't be reached, Ctrip couldn't check out, and the breakfast was mediocre."
"I stayed in this hotel for the second time, the location is very convenient, next to the hotel there's a grocery where you can buy anything you may need and you can walk to the night market and many attractions of the city. the staff is very nice and helpful. breakfast is simple but good."

Excellent
JJason2023Nice setting with lotus ponds and bridge, lots of trees, flowers, gravel winding paths and hidden seating areas.
The pool is small but had lots of available comfy seating and was very clean.
Breakfast is in a beautiful setting and the service and food were excellent. The menu has lots of options.
Excellent service from reception to housekeeping - the complimentary water, fruit baskets and night time cookies were appreciated.
Free bicycle hire and reception can organise trips.
The location is okay, a 5-10 minute walk to the main area but that gives you an experience of local life as you pass through the narrow streets.
There was some road noise - motorbikes etc but im not sure where you can avoid this in Luang Prabang or even SE Asia. If you are bothered by it, ear plugs will be useful.
No noise from any neighbours.
The room was a good size with a big balcony overlooking the gardens. Lots of stuff provided e.g toiletries, safe, tea, 3 in 1 coffee - you don't need to bring. (Cant remember seeing a razor but tbh hotel ones are never good so i bring my own).
TIP: try not to rely on ATMs here, the charges are expensive. Either bring your own currency and exchange at one of the banks here (i got a good rate) or bring Kip. Many places also accept Thai baht and some US $.
The hotel has water so being mosquito spray (housekeeping also offered this).
NNuytsiaFloribundaOur stay had a lot of high points and a lot of low points.
Starting with the high points, the grounds and room were incredible. Our experience at the spa was one of the best we’ve had. The cocktails and Laos-style burger we had for lunch one day were phenomenal. The staff were charming and very accommodating.
However, there were a few aspects that were far below the experience expected of a 5 star hotel. First, cocktail service around the pool was abysmal. On almost every occasion we had to go searching for a staff member to take our order, and then the cocktails more often than not took more than half an hour to arrive. This is despite the fact that we seemed to be the only people ordering F&B at that time, i.e. they were not busy at all.
Second, the breakfast was a disappointment every day - we were told we could order eggs or noodles, and had to repeatedly press the staff to find out what type of eggs and noodles, and we only discovered on the last day that there was a menu with additional options. We ordered poached eggs on toast, and the eggs had not been drained of excess liquid, and the bread was entirely soaked through. An order of waffles took over an hour to come out - first it was delivered as a pancakes, and then they just forgot about it despite repeated follow ups. The “local” Laos options lacked flavor - very little of the herbs and spice that makes Laos food great. I think this and the pool service issue are primarily the result of a lack of training and instruction for staff - they were clearly doing their best, but did not know what to do.
Third, the pool area needs a lot more spent on maintenance. The decking is cracking and falling apart. The mosaic tiles in the pool are falling apart, A LOT of the tiles are missing, and I got a very large laceration on my forearm from the sharp edge of a tile sticking out. If this pool were in a western jurisdiction, it would not meet health and safety standards.
Fourth, the gym was not worth visiting if you want to lift weights. Possibly the worst weights offering I’ve seen for a hotel of that price and with that much space.
We want to reiterate how great and enthusiastic the staff were. I think this is primarily a management oversight, training, and maintenance capex issue.
GGuest UserThe upgraded room with extra money is only upstairs. It is no different from the room downstairs. Even the washbasin is smaller than the cheaper room downstairs. The hygiene is average. I don't understand why I have to take off my shoes to enter the hotel. I feel that the floor is not very clean. I'm not used to it. The location is quite good, not far from the Grand Palace and Mount Phushi. Breakfast is provided, and although there is a limit of two loaves per person, it is still enough to fill you up.
Wwinterchild_smOne area for improvement could be the soundproofing of the rooms, as the wooden structure sometimes allows noise from neighboring rooms or the outside to filter through. However, this is a minor issue compared to the overall experience. The staff at Ammata Guest House are exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to provide recommendations for restaurants, tours, and activities.
GGuest UserVery friendly and helpful staff. Everytime I asked them something, they were more than willing to help in anyway they could. The room was lovely and very reasonably priced. The only very minor downside was that breakfast was a little bit limited for someone with quite a lot of food allergies, but the staff could make adaptions to the menu to try and cater for these. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in Luang Prabang.
GGuest User“This hotel’s bed is incredibly comfortable! The mattress is perfectly balanced, providing an excellent night’s sleep. The quality of the bedding is also very high; the sheets and duvet covers are very soft and cozy. The hotel’s breakfast is also delicious, made with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable sleep and a tasty breakfast!”
GGrandGrandMaHotel Name: Villa Monsone
Location: Luang Prabang
I had the privilege of spending an unforgettable holiday at Villa Monsone and I have the warmest praise for this hotel. First of all, the location of the hotel is ideal. Just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, I was able to explore the area's ancient temples, royal palaces and night markets. The surroundings of the hotel are pleasant, quiet and convenient.
Secondly, Villa Monsone is a wonderful building in itself. Every detail shows the care and taste of the hotel management team. I particularly enjoyed the hotel's swimming pool and terrace, which provided a peaceful and relaxing environment to enjoy the sun and views. The service is also impeccable. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, the staff gave me warm and thoughtful care. They were always ready to help and were always there to make sure my needs were met. Their professional quality and friendly attitude made me feel at home.

GGuest UserRelatively new hotel with beautiful and clean rooms in good location in Luang Prabang. The staff are friendly and helpful, at breakfast you can choose between different options. Water, coffee and tea are available free. Rollers, tours and transfers can also be booked directly on site. Wi-Fi could be a little better in the rooms. All in all a very good price-performance ratio and we would stay there again.

KK.-The staffs are very friendly. Even though English is not their first language, they utilize translation app and enjoy the conversation with the guests. Very open-minded.
-The room is super clean.
-The location is a bit away from the historical area (30mins+ on foot) but you can enjoy the local life along the way to the area.
It was my first trip to Laos, and only for two days, but it became a very pleasant stay. Would love to visit again.
GGuest UserIt's okay for the price~ I liked the balcony.
The bathroom and toilet are separate.
It's not completely clean, and you have to take that into account because it's an old building. The location is a bit far from the night market, but you can walk there, and I rented a scooter, so it wasn't difficult to get around.
