The Hannafore Point Hotel
"The hotel has the most wonderful position with breathtaking views over the sea and s short walk into Looe centre, with coastal walks either side. Our room and bathroom were spacious and lovely with a sea view and bathroom. The menu was varied and every meal we had was excellent. All of the staff, without exception were efficient and charming."
Fieldhead Hotel
"InnTravel booked the hotel for our walking group. Our rooms were fine—nothing special but clean and comfortable. No AC so we were thankful to have rooms facing the water. The large balcony was lovely for our afternoon sit. We told our hosts we needed breakfast earlier than posted hours, and they happily accommodated us. The continental breakfast was bountiful, so we didn’t order the hot breakfast. The hotel is on the west side of the quay, which offers a quieter stay—but it does mean walking to eat on the east side. Be sure to ask the hostess for directions as the ones she provided were down a “back alley” and much shorter than the ones offered by Google!"
Bridgeside Guest House
"We had a lovely 2 night stay at Bridgeside B & B. The hotel was well located for everything Looe has to offer. The room was on the top floor with amazing views of the estuary. Breakfast was good, Sammy the owner really helpful and staff really friendly. We would stay again if we were in Looe. Best to book with hotel directly rather than booking sites. We had no trouble at all parking in Millpool carpark."
The Gate Cornwall
"We were excited to visit The Gate, it’s a short drive from Looe and easy to find and park. The dining room has large open windows looking into the garden and an interesting shape room that we liked. The waitresses gave good service. We ordered some small plates to share which included the turbot with a very attractive clotted cream sauce and green oil, pig cheek, hispi cabbage with asian flavours, and chicken wings. It was all really lovely and beautifully presented. We are really looking forward to visiting again."
Polraen Country House Hotel
"Our second visit to this wonderful hotel . Brilliant location with fabulous hosts Martin and Gill for whom nothing is too much trouble . They have excellent local knowledge as well . Hotel cozy and comfortable with convenient access to local transport . Breakfasts are a delight with lots of choice and food cooked to order and beautifully presented ."
Seaside Apartment
The Old Bridge House
"Charming little hotel perfectly placed to enjoy a few days in Looe. Colin and Liz give such attention to detail and it is a warm and friendly atmosphere. The lovely veranda overlooking the river is perfect for relaxing The breakfast is amazing too"
Sawyers Bed and Breakfast
"Really good place to stay, near to restaurants and shops in Looe. Tracey is a really good host, Breakfast is all fresh and cooked to order, would recommend this place to family and friends. A very relaxing stay, rooms are very clean and comftable"
Trehaven Manor
"First time here for six years; nothing has changed and if you're lucky enough to secure a booking then go for it. In my view the best hotel in the West Country for peace and tranquility, having wonderful views over the Looe river and beyond. Enjoy!"
