"The environment is clean and the service staff is friendly. The highlight is the free Shuttle Bus, which is delivered to the station or pier, which is very helpful for exploring the Cinque Terre. Personally, I think Levanto is the most suitable place to stay in the Cinque Terre area. It has the convenience of trains and ferries, is not as crowded as the Cinque Terre, and is not as vulgar and complicated as La Spezia."

"The hotel is surrounded by the most beautiful landscape wrapping it in a tranquil atmosphere. It’s quiet and quant. The owner is welcoming, kind, and funny. He seemingly goes out of his way to make a great experience for you. He spoke English for us and native Italian for my Italian friends. The room is very clean and spacious with plenty of amenities. The bed is comfortable too! The hotel restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and we had the most delicious dinner followed by outstanding tiramisu. The young staff was attentive and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel/restaurant. Don’t miss this one!"

"we loved out stay at this hotel, we could not fault any aspect from the professionalism of the staff, to the delicious breakfasts, the excellent cleanliness of the rooms, through to the positioning of the hotel in the centre of everything. The family run aspect of this hotel too just gives it the extra element a really good hotel needs of warmth and care. It fitted our family needs so well and the children could be free and relaxed to travel around, they halted us with beach beds, towels and bike to hire each day. We would give it our highest recommendation and will definitely be staying there again next year."

"Staying at La Madonnetta in Levanto Italy was one of the highlights of our vacation! Valentina and Bernardo were fantastic. They anticipated our needs and offered assistance with making dinner reservations, and pickup and transport to the train station. We didn't ask, they offered. It is rare to have this kind of proactive hospitality. La Madonnetta is a former chapel with lots of charm. The room was well appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and there was even a refillable water bottle welcome gift. The location is on the bluff overlooking the sea, and is a short walk to the town and beach. This allows you to enjoy the views and beauty of the area while above the busyness of the town. Then when you are ready to explore or go to dinner, the town is only a short walk away. It really gives you the best of both worlds. Breakfasts were served on the veranda with an ocean view - what a way to start the day! The food was delicious and local. We stayed two nights and quickly realized that we wish we had planned to stay more nights in this lovely bed and breakfast. Valentina is so helpful and resourceful. Bernardo has a lovely, dry sense of humor that makes you feel welcomed. Bernardo traveled extensively in his former occupation and has experienced the range of customer service during his travels. He is putting this experience to good use in making sure his guests have a premium hospitality experience at La Madonnetta. If we had more time we would have been sure to take advantage of their elevated lounging area and the warm outdoor jacuzzi at sunset. Definitely plan to stay at least 4 nights! You will enjoy Levanto, enjoy La Madonnetta, and especially enjoy the welcoming, outstanding service of Valentina and Bernardo."
