Best Hotels in Lecco, Italy

If you do to Lake Como stay in LECCO. I loved this town. It is on the right arm of the Y on lake como. The town isn't touristy and that is what I loved. The only downside was the heat. It was the hottest week in July with temps well over 95 everyday. We had a JR Suite and it was clean and served it purpose. The breakfast was amazing. Those eggs! The only thing was the a/c wasn't that good but I do understand the temps were not normal so I am not holding that against them. Go to this city it is authentic, not touristy and absolutely beautiful!

Ottimo soggiorno: posizione dell'hotel eccellente, in pieno centro e a due passi dal lago; stanza standard molto spaziosa, sempre purita. Colazione ottima, abbondante e per tutti i gusti. Personale sempre accogliente e disponibile. In una parola : consigliatissimo.

The location is excellent, the first row by the lake, the surrounding restaurants are full of wine, the fly in the ointment is that there is no refrigerator in the room. It is suitable for self-driving, but the blue paid parking space is not easy to find during the peak hours of the holiday. Not to mention the white free one. When you are 400 meters away from the hotel, you will pay attention and there will be a parking space. The hotel does not have a valet parking service. Please inform the license plate number when you check in, otherwise it will fall into the forbidden zone and the ticket will be severe.

Modern hotel on hillside overlooking lake with amazing views from rooms and restaurant areas. Rooms are quite large and baths are adequate if uninspired. Housekeeping and maintenance in general could be improved. Housekeeping would only provide one small roll of toilet paper per day although helpful front desk would provide more if you ask. Stained carpets in hallways, missed dust throughout the hotel and bugs in the rooms. AC failed the second day but was fixed quickly. Dinner in hotel was excellent. Nice breakfast buffet although eggs were ice cold the first day and juices seem to be watered down. Stay for the view if you are willing to overlook a few things.

On the plus side, Hotel Bazzoni has a wonderful location, a very good view from the room balconies over Lake Como, and a terraced garden going up the hill with several swimming pools and bars. Included breakfast and a buffet supper which was good. The bar on the ground floor is also stunning. On the minus side, ***y things about the hotel are wanting. When we arrived, we were told it was fully booked and our reservation had been transferred to the sister (and much cheaper) hotel Britannia down the road. We were taken down to see it, but the room was dank and nasty, after a hard argument they agreed to reinstate us in Bazzoni. We were also chased on the final day to check out promptly - our Trip.com booking was for 11am check out but we got a call at 10.30 telling us this had been moved forward to 10am and we needed to check out promptly as they had ***y arrivals that day. The room also lacked water, coffee/tea-making facilities and slippers, and everything extra is chargable - including 5 EUR for an additional keycard (non-refundable...) and 2 EUR for a jug of water at supper. On balance, I would avoid this hotel in future - but if you chose it, come ready to argue for what you already paid for.
