"We were completely exhausted when we checked in and delighted to find a comfy bed with lovely views over the river. We rested for a while and then went to the spa. The pool was just the right temperature as was the sauna and steam room. It was very relaxing. We enjoyed a great meal it was very tasty and served quickly. I'm vegan and gluten free and the choice for me was excellent. We then strolled around outside for a while catching the setting sun. The scenery was gorgeous. We slept really well and again enjoyed the spa facilities before a hearty breakfast and checked put completely refreshed at 11am the next day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. "Situated in the countryside but still convenient for main roads this bed and breakfast is of a very high quality with a lovely atmosphere and very friendly helpful hosts. Our room was quite small but the owners have made good use of space and their great attention to detail and beautiful bedding ensured we enjoyed every comfort for a good visit . We loved the en suite, great shower too. Excellent breakfast freshly cooked. Highly recommend this place can’t think you can find better value in the area."

"Friendly reception on arrival. Was sent a text with a number to meting incase I needed it. Love the tartan carpet. Clean, fresh and well stocked. Extras available if needed for tea, coffee, etc. don’t be put off by the separate shower rooms. They are literally two steps over the hall and robes are provided. Lots of fluffy towels left too. I needed an early start so was left a huge continental breakfast. Remember that the bar is only open Thursday through to Sunday. It is on a busy road but good windows and blackout blinds help. Parking was available outside. Nice green opposite. Great for an overnight stop on my way to Edinburgh."

"Upon arrival you are welcomed into Fiona and John’s world. From fresh homegrown food available at breakfast to the flapjacks in abundance throughout the day. Fiona and John’s community focused ethos is admirable and this comes through in their engagement with their guests. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. All members of the farm team are friendly but we have to mention Jen in particular. She has such an abundance of energy and enthusiasm for everything she’s involved with on the farm and is happy to spend time having a chat with the guests."
