Hotels in Chenggong New District/South High-Speed Railway Station, Kunming

到昆明出差，第二天早班火車，所以想着選一個離昆明南站近一些的酒店，嘉盛酒店的大堂比較小，但是前台小姐姐很熱情，很快安排好了房間，房間也不大，但是很乾凈整潔，很舒適，衞浴設備也很好，不僅和洗手枱乾濕分離，沐浴間和坐廁也是獨立分開的，老實説，我選酒店的一個原則就是要衞浴乾濕分離，很怕那種一個房間裏洗手枱淋浴器和坐廁都在一起，還要穿塑料拖鞋的那種酒店。嘉盛在這一點上是做得比較好的。第二天一早，吃了有中式麪點，炒飯，青菜和粥的早餐，酒店還有送站服務，因為我走得比較早，沒等到8點半的送站車，小姐姐讓我自己打車到車站，還給報銷了車費，雖然錢不多，十幾塊錢，但是真的很貼心，贊一個。

I particularly like the tasteful architectural décor, as well as the food. If you are looking for a place close to the Kunming city government, various banks and shops, then this location is ideal. It can be too far from the city for tourists. The personal attention from the staff was really outstanding. There is a chic bar with pastries, it would have been nice to have an outdoor terrace to chill out in the evening, as plenty of space is given. We definitely want to come back for a 3rd time.

The room is very smart and the stay is very comfortable. The mattress is soft and hard, and it is easy to fall asleep when you come back from play. Forgot to take pictures, but the real scene is exactly the same as the hotel picture. Although the hotel is located in the university town, it is relatively biased, but there is a particularly good special car free shuttle, travel back and forth worry-free! Special thanks to the hotel for your help. On the morning of our family of three, the child was sent to the doctor for acute gastroenteritis and the infusion took a long time. After stabilization, the time to leave the car was very urgent. The hotel received our help call, immediately helped to dispatch the special car, and helped the child's father quickly carry the luggage into the special car. The special car sent the child's father and luggage to the hospital, and picked us up to the South Station. Thanks again! If you have the opportunity to come to Kunming again, you must still live here.

The parking lot is super large and parking is very convenient. The hotel is next to a school. The environment is quiet, clean and sanitary. The bedding is comfortable. It would be better if breakfast could be served until 10 o'clock.

A relatively new hotel. Perfect for a overnight stay for people rushing to the high speed the next morning. Room was big and comfortable. We booked for the non smoking level but there is an ashtray on the living room table and u can smell cigarette smoke along corridor. Really wished this country makes more effort in advocating for non smoking despite signs beinf put up. We managed to search for a little night market, Shilin night market about 10 mins taxi ride away from the hotel. Maybe hotel can provide more information about places around for tourists. It is also a short walking distance to the metro which is linked to high speed as well. Managed to book the free pick up from high speed to hotel however the next day's hotel to high speed is already fully booked. We also didn't managed to have breakfast due to timing of our high speed.

The hotel is clean and very near to night market and food, there is a small shopping belt just below the hotel. The only thing that can be improved further is the location of the hotel entrance drop off via DiDi, they just drop you along the roadside which you need to walk maybe for an estimate of 150m. Not sure why the drivers cannot find the way to the entrance of the hotel.. maybe it’s the DiDi app map issue. Overall the hotel is great

The hotel offers a beautiful, clean, and tidy environment. Our room, located on a high floor, was very spacious and well-equipped, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that provided fantastic, panoramic views of Dianchi Lake. The hotel service was equally impressive; the front desk staff were warm, courteous, and polite, making check-in very quick and efficient. I've stayed here several times now, and the housekeeping staff are always meticulous and attentive. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

Very satisfied overall. My only minor complaint was a faint smell of fresh renovation in the hallways. The location near the South Railway Station is excellent, and the shuttle service (they even use a Voyah Dreamer!) was incredibly convenient. From the breakfast area, you can enjoy views of the South Station to your right and a lake to your left. It's also a nice spot for an evening stroll.

Was there with for 2 nights. Good swimming and natural hotspring facilities. The rooms are a little old but the towels and sheets were very white and clean. Beds are spacious. As they ran out of non spiking rooms that can accommodate three pax, we checked out the smoking room. We were also pleasantly surprised that the room did not smell of smoke. Good selection for breakfast. Location is excellent as it’s within walking distance of the night market with lots of eatery options

Staff: The hotel staff is attentive amazing n superb. Even though they cant converse in english, we communicate thru google translate and they can attend to our concerns and give fast response. They go through extra mile to answer all your queries. While in the room we converse via trip.com platform Hotel room: New Beautiful clean smart house loft. All 2 rooms are on the 2nd level. Fit my family of 4 adults. Each bedroom has 1 double bed which is big can fit 2 medium sized adults. 1st level has a toilet and big sofa can use as bed too. Night view is nice when all the buildings infront lighted up. 2 tvs one on 1st level and second one at the main bedroom. All are chinese programmes. It be good if the hotel can have some english speaking programmes or movies. Unit comes with washing machine but not dryer. There is a self serving laundry at 26th floor for guest use that comes with ironing facilities, dryer and washing machine. Location: There are few malls around but we didnt have time to explore all. Visit Laoyuhue wetland park (20mins drive). It was crowded but huge park. everyone has space for photoshoots and photography. Beautiful lake and yellow trees with seagulls. Took lots of pictures here. We went to visit Kunming Chenggong huihuiying mosque(20mins car ride) and meet the friendly muslim community there. We tried the flavorful muslim local beef noodles. Bought big bag of delicious caramel popcorn from a streetvendor. Amenities: At level b1 has a huge new supermarket. U cn get ur groceries here. Complimentary drop off The hotel was nice to provide us a free drop off to Kunming South railway( 15mins drive). Its not a normal car. In fact its the inhouse limousine for inhouse guest. Amazing. Note: the lift is a shared lift with other tenants and other hotel guests. Jun’an hotel units are on the top floor 26th and 27th floor
