What can I say that I haven't already said before about this fabulous hotel, it never fails to live up to expectations. We arrived late in the evening and were quickly checked in and had our cases whisked up to our beautiful room where was a bottle of wine and chocolates waiting for us. We quickly freshened up and then went down to the lounge bar for a drink before heading down to the restaurant for a bite to eat as it is open 24 hours which is great if you have a late flight. The next day we booked ourselves into the spa for a Turkish bath and massage and it was fantastic as usual. The whole experience is so relaxing and the staff there are so welcoming and friendly whilst being very professional. It was lovely to catch up with our friends in the animation team who always recognise us and make us welcome. We loved going to the Luna Bar where Ferit, Fatih, Emine and the rest of the team took very good care of us before finishing the night off in the lounge bar. The lounge bar also had some very good performers on most nights and there was some very good entertainment on each night around the pool area.......spoilt for choice really! As usual the hotel was immaculately clean and the food in the main restaurant was excellent as were the a la carte restaurants which we were able to book quite easily. The quality of the drinks is amazing and the choice of premium brands is exceptional. We had a fabulous holiday as usual and we can't wait to return in April/May 2024. The staff are all a credit to this hotel and work so hard to make it such an enjoyable experience to be there. In conclusion, I have no hesitation in recommending the Akra Kemer to anyone looking for the ultra all inclusive experience.

You have been pre warned… 24 ladies booked this hotel for a 3 night trip. Despite phoning and paying for the rooms in advance, check in was dreadful, mis managed, slow and the reception staff extremely rude (we have since been informed one particular girl was sacked for her conduct). The rooms seemed to vary in condition and cleanliness. One very awful one which was changed the next day, there didn’t seem to be any planning, small rooms for 2 people and larger ones for single rooms.🤷‍♀️ FOOD: At best average, breakfast being the best. DRINK: The hotel advertised as Ultra All Inclusive, absolutely not. The alcohol spirits are dreadful, resulting in our group buying their own vodka and Raki from outside the hotel. The wine mainly not drinkable and seem to vary from bar to bar. Only beer seems to be acceptable. STAFF If there was a scale for rudeness it would be off the chart, from tutting every time you asked for a drink to being aggressive in their manner, especially when telling two older ladies to go away when asking for a drink, this resulted in the ladies being very upset, we reported to manager and he made the bar manager / staff apologise. Thereafter they treated us with some respect and a bit more smiling. Apparently the reason for such rudeness was because it’s been a long season and horrible customers as for the beach bar staff, faces like slapped ****s best describes them. There was also an incident with inappropriate behaviour from a maintenance guy, again this was reported. SUMMARY All in all the hotel is certainly not 5 rated star, 3 at a push, it’s dated in parts and tired, up grade required in many aspects for example the gym equipment, paving, indoor pool was not heated, the beach towels you left a deposit for were very grubby.

This hotel is highly recommended. The hotel has beautiful beaches, a variety of drinks and drinks, a variety of Turkish snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner are very rich, you can see the hotel's intentions, and each waiter is very enthusiastic, service attitude well. Due to the off-season, the price we book is not expensive, so the price is super high, it is recommended

This is a very nice hotel with nice and helpful staff. We asked reception many times to fix our wifi but nothing was getting done about it, On the other hand, guest relations were very helpful and provided a solution as soon as possible. The services were exceptional, the pattiserie , breakfast lunch and dinner. We were very welcomed and we enjoyed all of the activities. We will definitely come back here during the summer time!

Food is perfect. All kind of meats on every meal, beef chicken fish also somethimes lamb and liver. And very good taste. Soft drinks are also high quality. Alotof kinds on meals deserts cheeses. Snack bar is the greatest i ever seen, also all kinds of meats on snackbar. Cleaning is perfect. Everywhere is clean, whole otel Quietness is perfect. I think rooms have sound protection materials. I didn’t hear single sound from any neighbour. Helping is perfect. Everyone inside hotel is very careful and kindly trying to help about everything. Location is perfect. Pools are great. Slidings are enough. Thank you!

Solo traveler I review Beds comfy Room small I got clean bedding towels changed often threw stay (others didn’t) Room very dated Pool clean kids part railings unsafe Hotel staff ok Massage was fantastic (room used and Turkish bath area needed improvement mouldy walls smelly very dated And now we get to the best bit start with DRINKS beer water Malibu martini baileys wine pops juice tea coffee included in all inclusive everything else you have pay for So if you want pink gin vodka ect take your own or it’s a €4/5 drink FOOD if you want a British breakfast turkiye just ain’t a place go this hotel offers some strange choices for food at breakfast Dinner and tea ain’t anything special either but homemade pizza and seeded bread was delicious the rest of food was hit and miss as nothing is labelled it’s like opening a tin without a label and hoping it’s what it looks like ( I did find something to eat when I went for food but if your a fussy eater don’t bother) staff would enjoy the food once you have eaten they got the there turn REMEMBER WHEN BOOKING your going to turkiye if you want 5* book a 5* hotel This is a budget hotel I enjoyed my stay and although the hotel needs lots of improvements it was better than I was expecting for the price

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. The hotel manager Mr. Yucel was so kind and friendly. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

We stayed in a ground floor room with balcony. There wasn't much of a view other than greenery and the path way was used by the staff. But it didn't bother us as we very rarely sat out. The room itself was very spacious with a double and single bed, a TV and fridge that was stocked daily with bottles of water. Air conditioning was good but only works while the patio doors are closed and the hotel key card is in the electric slot. There was a large bathroom with toilet, a powerful shower, hairdryer and shaving point. The fixtures and fittings were a bit tired looking and could probably do with updating. But all worked well overall. The food was ok. If you are a fussy eater, you might struggle to find something to eat. Also, none of the food is labelled, so it is anyone's guess as to what it is you are eating. We didn't starve, but felt the food was quite limited and very repetitive. Across the way from the restaurant, there is a hut where at breakfast, you can get fresh pancakes, omlettes, fried eggs. Next door is also a hut that serve gozlemes (pancakes filled with potato or cheese). There are a number of coffee machines, fruit teas and juices. On day 4 I discovered there was a tea urn that had something resembling English tea, but is very strong. The entertainment was on twice in the week. It was Turkish night on Saturday which we really did enjoy. There was also entertainment on Tuesday which we missed due to going on an excursion. The pool, you get the usual suspects that put their towels down at the crack of dawn but there appear to be plenty of sun loungers. There is a slide (although the water that runs on it, get switched off at certain times of the day, which makes it unusable). There is a pool bar where you get your drinks throughout the day/night. Alcoholic drinks are very limited on the all inclusive. One type of beer (tuborg), red/white wine, vodka or gin. Soft drinks were soda water, pepsi, lemonade or fizzy orange. After 10pm there is an option to buy your drinks which I am guessing are branded, but not too sure. The town centre is a 20 min walk away with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars. Not too sure how far the nearest beach is but there is a mini bus that takes you to both the town centre or local beach free of charge. The hotel arrange excursions. We only did the land of legends night show which was very good. Wifi is chargeable in the rooms. If you try the WiFi around the reception area or pool, it is extremely slow. There are no room safes, you can hire one at a charge. These are located in the reception area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They all worked extremely hard and very long hours to keep the hotel clean and tidy at all times. Even when they encountered rude customers, they still managed to keep a smile on their face. Overall, we had a very enjoyable holiday at the grand viking hotel. The positives for this hotel, out weigh the negatives.
