"Our stay from 31.8 to 1.9. was disappointing with you in room 216! We stayed with you on recommendation of friends from Iser pay at a greater family celebration. We were told by friends your rooms were renovated. When looking at your home page we thought this was confirmed to find: “Enjoy your stay! .... After completely redesign the house is new ...” Room 216 is not renovated for many years. Significant defects: long-sticked shower access, silicium fuels, old water damage to the bathroom door, flat tape, broken garden, view of a wall right in front of the room window. All that contrasts massively with the impression that is mediated from the photos on your home page. In addition, we received a muffy smell in the room, which pointed to hygienic problems in this room. According to the friendly lady at the reception there were no quality differences in the other rooms. Therefore, a change of room would not have been helpful. We could not strengthen our friends and guests from Izerlohn, The hotel is a good hotel."

"Hotel is nice, modern. Rooms are clean and nice. The price is top end. I had a suite with sauna and paid close to €400 a night. The location is good and quiet. What was very disappointing was the staff and service. I want to emphasise that I believe it’s a management issue and not really a staff issue. Hotel is understaffed and everything feels rushed and not welcoming. Nobody helped with luggage. Staff asked me to take a trolly myself. I wanted to order room service and they didn’t want to do it and also told me they had no staff to bring the food to the room. When I complained and the lady realised that I am in a suite, she said OK, I try to manage to bring you a sausage which she did. When she delivered the food to the room she said: “especially for you and I hope I earned a credit from you now”. What a stupid comment to make. I blame the management for this mismatch of actually quality of the Hotel facilities, price and poor service. I heard a number of guests also complaining about the service."

"Nice rooms, the employees were very sweet however could tell they had a lot on their plate. Unfortunately, our plates remained empty by choice due to the complete blasphemy that they called margarita Pizza. The dough was under cooked, the pizza sauce contained that of a compost bin, topped with spring onion as garnish and cheese which was manufactured in a lab. We paid 11€ for a pizza (which came out on trays pre cut meaning we received about 3 slices each ) .The burger was very small and was complimented with 5 chips merely for 20€. The pizza also left some of us with severely bad food poisoning.The walls were very thin so noise from other rooms could be heard very clearly. Not to the 4 star rating"

"Beautiful…. We use this hotel for work sometimes as the rooms feature our beautiful Keuco product in the bathrooms. It’s great for our customers to be able to use them personally. Rooms are beautiful, staff are great and the food is lovely! Only thing missing here for me is a gym! Beautiful spa area though! Looking forward to staying again soon."
