Stayed at the hotel end of September for 1 week with 3 adults overall hotel is ok. Was clean, good location lots of shops, bars and restaurants around. 10 min walk to the beach but provide a bus service through out the day. Staff friendly but English not very good. Most of the guest was German which wasn’t a problem. Food was ok overall. Had a problem with our shower which took them a day and 1/2 sort out after I had to complain on a number of occasions. There is a bar across the street called bill Crosby which didn’t stop playing music until 2am every day which was a problem was very loud at night to avoid this ask for a pool side room. This hotel is not. 5* hotel would rate this as a 3*.

Where to start on our Xmas 23 adventure. We chose the Xanthe Tui Blue knowing we would be ******** on the weather given the time of year but out of 14 days we managed a solid 10 of sunshine which was great for Dec!! The hotel well positioned in side with alot of shops and bars within walking distance of the hotel, the Mall of Side is only 5 mins away and a little further up the road are several shops and bars. Going through the hotel - having spoken in depth with Tui prior to travelling to ensure we had all the info we needed about the hotel we where disappointed in several areas. Whilst the rooms are nice and tidy the drains did smell a lot from the bathroom and unfortunately our room faced out onto the main entrance and road which had alot of noise. The beds where comfy and the rooms where warm of an evening, the cleaners did a great job and clean towels where provided daily. The mini bar was refilled on occasion but several times we had to ask for this to be refilled. The main bar in the reception area was the one where we often attended as they tended to be the ones who could understand our requests being English this took a few attempts but the staff where lovely and got used to what we ordered. The basement coffee shop wasn't very good, they didn't understand us at all and often got the drinks wrong and to the point a coffee was undrinkable and thus left. The indoor pool was nice, tidy and kept to a warm temp at all times. The external pools despite both the hotel and TUI advising the pools and slides would be open where all closed and for the most part of our holiday the pool and beach bars where also closed - this was a huge disappointment. The external pools where left closed and very unclean despite multiple families and people outside at the pools sunbathing. WIFI - The hotel basically lied to us about this - we asked specifically in advance would the hotel accommodate UK Firesticks so the kids would have English TV content and they assured us firesticks where fine and they had high speed internet, we did advise we would have to choose alternate accommodation if this was not the case and again they assured us it was all fine. On arrival we could not access the wifi and the Fire OS was blocked via their internal policies, they at one point tried to blame Turkey blocking the content as a nation but I could get the firestick to run off my mobile data to test it no problem, this was on a Turkish network at the time of testing. The food, like most all inclusive the food gets boring if not refreshed alot and whilst they made an effort to change things it was often a very similar offering daily with limited variety, always rice, chips, fish, chicken....... The Al A Carte meal was nice and a different change just a shame you can only attend once during a two week stay. I can call myself a regular customer of the place, and I am far from being capricious but this time I have very mixed feelings. It’s a long story, and it must be read and taken into consideration by the hotel management and the owners of the business! Here I only assess the service. My husband and I stayed here in 2020 and 2021 during the tough years of the pandemic, last year together with our 19-year-old daughter and my elderly parents. All the five of us loved the place so much that we made a decision to book it again this year. However, it was fully booked till 26, October. Our vacation started on 16, October and we stayed at another hotel of the same chain (Hane Smart) and moved here on 26, October because we desperately wanted to stay here. It was a mistake, though. When we arrived we found out that the Hane Family was overbooked and they could not provide us with 2 rooms (we booked a family and a standard) and offered all of us to stay in a family suite for 2 nights. 5 adults, 1 bathroom… We did not mind it though we were not pleased that much. The receptionist (Nuriyam) apologised for the inconvenience and offered an a la carte restaurant reservation, a free safe box (it’s a paid service here) and free cocktails each of us (imported alcohol cocktails cost 5 € per one). When we decided to have our cocktails in the lobby bar they told us to go to the pool bar with our cocktail vouchers. It was 11:30 am. A man at the bar refused to serve us for a reason he tried to explain in… German. I work in a hotel myself and I should point out that the international language of hospitality is still English, even in Turkey, isn’t it? Even if you mainly work with German tourists, you have to speak elementary English! And your non-German tourists are not supposed to speak German! We left our parents and daughter at the pool and went to the reception to clarify the situation. The same receptionist called the pool bar and told us to get back and get the cocktails. We went there again, and again the same man at the bar refused to serve us. We insisted, he answered something in a foreign language which was a mix of some words with a few English words among which I could only get ‘eat’ and the gesture of eating. It was also obvious he couldn’t make cocktails or didn’t want to do it. What he meant was still unclear to me. I was looking at him in great surprise and he pointed at his temple with his index finger near which in most European countries is considered to be an indication ‘you are stupid’ A hotel employee showing a guest that he or she is stupid with a gesture!!! Very rude and highly unprofessional!!! I was shocked! We went to the reception AGAIN. This time the receptionist called the restaurant manager and went with us. It turned out that the man at the bar is.. just a waiter who poured beer and Sprite while the real bartender was having his lunch. He simply could NOT explain it in English, because his English is so poor that he even cannot say ‘barte

When we arrived it looked as beautiful as the photos. When we got to the check In desk we was told that only 2 out of 4 of our rooms was available and the other two would be ready the next day, as they had overbooked! My daughter & her partner had to share a family room with her brothers who are also in their 20s. We was then told there was a late night buffet for guests who arrive late in the night, when we had walked down to the restaurant & we had found it was left over hot food that’s was now cold from dinner service which had not been covered and had flies buzzing around them. We had to leave the hotel to Find a restaurant so we could eat. Throughout our first full day we found that this hotel is not Intrested in English families and refuse to help with even the slightest request, I had asked if we could join two dinner tables together so my family would be together and was refused, seconds later a German family had asked for the same thing and the waiters in the restaurant done it for them instantly, we was all given paper place mats on our tables but the German and Russian families tables were Always fully dressed with everything waiting for them. As far a food it’s manageable but ends up being the same food throughout the whole week, we all preferred the 12:00 snack bar as the food was a lot better than the restaurant itself. If you would like a sun bed by the pool I would strongly advice you to be out of your rooms with your towels at 06:00am as your unable to get them if you leave it until later in the day even though we are all told we cannot reserve sun beds until 08:00am this applies for the private beach also. If your looking for cocktails your best to go out of the hotel as my family throughout the whole week had watched bartenders pour our half of the spirit bottles and top them back off with tap water, my son had pointed this out and told the barman he would like a fresh bottle opened as he didn’t want to drink the water from the taps, the barman then became extremely rude and refused to serve him, when this was brought up to the hotel manager who was normally quite polite and helpful he very rudely and abruptly shushed my son and waved him away. We then had noticed Germans and Russians who had asked for an alcoholic drink was being served from different alcohol bottles that were hidden out of sight from the bar. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anybody and I certainly wouldn’t be returning.

Lovely place, visited mid November, best season from my pov as I'm not keen for sunburns. Indoor swimming pool open but used outdoor one too a few times. The disco finishes at 11pm, a bit too early from my pov but the reason is older guests might need to rest so makes sense. Only issue at some point we were rushed out from the gym for cleaning but must have been just a one off so not a big deal. Gym is very nice btw! Enough variety of food and amazing is this is being served until 6am, so even if you had a late flight you don't miss your first dinner. Asked for a desk as I needed to do some work, the hotel sent me a small table just enough for me so highly apreciated this! I wish this would have been closer to Antalya but if you are fine withe getting a taxi there and back a couple of times that's just fine as well. Free drinks, alcohol, sweet treats in their cafe, bottled water in the gym, free hot snacks at their swimming pool bar all you need to have a relaxing stay. Paid a very small amount for an ultra all inclussive 5 stars accomodation, will surely visit again!
