We originally booked another hotel which we upgraded our room at a cost to a poolside view, the original hotel was full so we got given Seher Sun Palace instead, when we checked in we were given a room overlooking other rooms/balconies, we arrived at 2am and went to see reception, they stated that the hotel was full (Hotel was not full) and to return to reception the following morning, we went to reception the following morning to get the issue sorted, the manager gave us a poolside room, once we went to check the room the room phone rang asking us to return to reception, once there the manager stated that he was taking the room off us. Our On The Beach Representative was there who stated he would get the issue sorted for us and to give him a day, he took my number and connected to Messenger to contact each other, he forgot about us and did absolutely nothing. At reception, once the staff left the desk, the manager changed his tune as we were alone, saying if I paid a nice tip for the staff, he would let us have the room, he saifld it wouldn't go onto the system just me paying a tip which cost me 2,000 Turkish Lira, he put it in a drawer and I saw him put it in his wallet. A couple of days went past and we asked the same manager where we could go to get English currency changed into Euros, he sai he would change it for us at the rate of one on one from his own wallet, I've never known anyone so corrupt and money orientated. The food in the buffet restaurant was always cold and found the drinks to be watered down, certainly not the 5 star it claims to be, I'd say a 3 star. Would I stay here again.....Definitely not!
