Good
GGuest UserThe room was optimally sized , providing a comfortable balance of space and functionality. A larger smart TV was highlight, offering excellent entertainment options like you tube .
The air conditioning performed very well, maintaining a consistently pleasant temperature throughout the stay. A mini fridge was available, though its capacity was limited to a few cans of beverages, which may not be sufficient for guests requiring more storage.Overall , the room was well-equipped and provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing me to check in before noon. I was even upgraded to a room with a fantastic, expansive view. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained, with the added bonus of being able to prepare simple meals – a huge plus! The night view was absolutely stunning, and the location couldn't be better. It's just a 6-minute walk to the Victoria Peak Tram and a quick 10 minutes to the Central business district. The Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens are conveniently located right downstairs, and the lush greenery viewed from the window was incredibly soothing.

GGuest UserBeautiful hotel at also very good location!
I will start with location: hotel is placed at Wan chai and for all main attractions you can find bus if front of the hotel. Subway is also close, but when is raining you must walk 10min to subway station. So generally speaking who will use most of the times subway you must walk a bit, but for busses and general location it is very nice and good.
Hotel room:
We took deluxe room, and we were comfortable with 2 big luggages inside and baby stroller. Room is very nice and clean with nice view. Hotel maid was changing sheets often and kept room cleanness on a high level.
Meals - Breakfast (7-10am):
We didn't have breakfast included in room package, but hotel is offering to pay breakfast per person any time you want, which was suitable for us because we were active all day long, so sometimes we ate it, sometimes we skip it. Food is very nice, there are nice food and ingredients to eat. Breakfast is not best I had, for sure you will be full, but for us fits perfect to go out for exploring the city and not worrying for eating outside, because in HK most of the food places start working after 9-10am.
General impression with hotel experience for us was 10/10

GGuest UserThis hotel is conveniently located near Disneyland. We took the hotel shuttle to the MTR station, followed by two MTR transfers to reach the park. Despite reading negative comments online and bracing myself for potential discrimination, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and professional, patiently answering all our questions. Many even spoke Mandarin. The hotel itself was very quiet, and for the price, it offered exceptional value for money in Hong Kong. (P1: Exterior view taken from inside the hotel.)

SSuvrajit PaulWe stayed there 3 nights during our HK trip and had a great experience. The location is a good advantage, you will have bus, tram just in 2-3 minutes walk. MTR is also very nearby. rooms were neat and clean, very small though but thats how it is in entire HK. I highly recommend staying here for good connectivity. We also requested for a high floor with nice view and it was given, the view was really great from the room.
Feedback on improvement: To be honest, we did not like the buffet breakfast as they serve the same dish every single day, first day it was ok but we were bored from next day onwards with the options as it was the same thing for 3 consecutive days, I suggest hotel management to look into it and improve.

CChaiVHotel is pretty decent for HK and the price we paid, considering holiday season. But disappointed for a 4-Star chain standards.
All basic facilities are provided. No frills. More like a 3-star than a 4-star.
Shuttle makes it easier to get to shopping centre, closer to trains and buses to the city.
Pool is only open during specific hours but they do have a lifeguard in duty so I’m not sure if I can complain.
Gym has bare minimum equipment.
They did mention we got an upgrade but the room is similar to what we booked. It’s a modern-tiny space-saving design room so it’s smart but annoying with the lack of cupboards, floor space etc. Everything in the room is tightly packed. You just get in, sleep an get out but that’s Hong Kong I guess.

99966xiangI pre-booked a sea-view suite and even went so far as to email the hotel with detailed explanations and specific requests. However, this hotel clearly doesn't care about its guests! I particularly felt there was a subtle discrimination against mainland Chinese guests. Firstly, they never respond to any online reviews, and secondly, all mainland guests seem to be assigned to lower floors. Despite the hotel having over 400 rooms, and my prior request via email for a high-floor room, the front desk staff completely disregarded my request. They flat-out refused, stating that only rooms on the fifth floor were available. The entire check-in experience was extremely unpleasant.
The bed linens were acceptable, but the in-room amenities like shower gel, shampoo, and towels were of extremely poor quality! Even when I and other guests went to the self-service vending machine on the first floor to purchase disposable toiletries, those were also terrible, low-quality products! It's almost as if they think mainland guests have no money, but these are products we simply wouldn't use! Hong Kong hotels need to seriously reflect on their approach; mainland guests are becoming more discerning and expect higher quality standards.
An honest assessment: The hotel management *must* change its mindset! They can no longer serve mainland guests with such an attitude and outdated thinking. I recall an old promotional advertisement for Hong Kong's service industry starring Andy Lau; to quote a line from it: 'In this day and age, such service simply won't do!'
Note: I haven't uploaded any unflattering photos. I truly hope the hotel management undergoes a fundamental change in their attitude and philosophy.

GGuest UserReasonably clean but could tell the building was very old with a musty smell. You could say the decorations were quite vintage/old depending on how you look at it. Room was big for hk standards and staff was friendly. One thing to note is that they are cutting down on disposable amenities according to chinese regulations but some that are not provided can be bought from a vending machine in the gym. Wanted to buy a dental kit but the touchscreen pad said it was sold out although it was stocked.

GGuest UserThis is my 4th stay in a room on the 39th floor. Everything was fine before. Unfortunately, this time I had to spend a lot of time and nerves, which was not part of my plans. The pool on the 39th floor next to the room was used by a homeless person to spend the night. In addition, he smoked, shook ashes into the pool, and drank alcohol. All this happened on the only sun lounger. This is only what I saw passing by in the evening and at night. Unfortunately, the staff could not solve the problem the first time I asked and I had to ask for help at least 5 times. In the end, they offered me to act as a surveillance camera and if a homeless person appears, to inform them. Thank you very much. Of course, I understand the mentality of people in Hong Kong, but in China, I can hardly even imagine such a situation. I strongly advise against using this pool and staying on the top floor due to a serious security breach. Anyone from the street can enter your territory, since it is separated only by a low partition. My things were not in the room, but after entering the door. Unfortunately, after leaving, I discovered that a bottle of perfume was missing. The money and documents were in the safe, everything was fine with them. I think this is due to this person entering my territory. I closed the door to the room at night and the balcony. Perhaps this saved my valuables. In the middle of my vacation, I found a huge cockroach in the bathroom. It was really gigantic. Thanks to the cleaning service. They were able to catch it and take it away. I hope the hotel management will take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of guests. Therefore, I will not give a bad rating to my favorite chain.
I usually don't write reviews about hotels. And in such detail. But this time my wife made me write. She serves in the police and is very attentive to security issues. She said that she was very worried about having a stranger nearby. I think this is an exaggeration. She was probably offended that she was not congratulated on her birthday in this hotel, as she is used to in other hotels with a card or a compliment. She just happened to have a birthday when she checked in 😁😁😁
