Nathan Hotel

Ideal location for expats. Loved my stay at this hotel! Even though it's in the city area, it's not noisy at all. Staff are friendly, helpful and speak English fluently. Hotel is Central to most attractions. The room was modern and super clean! Loved the western styled breakfast options. Try the flapjacks and syrup! There is temple street market close by. McDonald's and Starbucks can be found downstairs close by. The hospital was in view from my room in case you need medical help close by. Easily accessible for taxis and buses on Nathan road although it's a busy main road. Plenty of ATMs scattered along the road. Closest subway is Jordan (4 minute walk) then Tsim Sha Tsui further down. The miraplace mall is within walking distance from the hotel. Harbour views are near the K11 shopping centre at the end of Nathan road. All in all, I will definitely be back. 😀
Harbour Plaza North Point

North Point and Quarry Bay
I recently stayed at the Harbour Plaza North Point Hotel on 31/12/2024 and I wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately, my stay had several challenges that impacted my overall satisfaction. Since there were no available double bed rooms on the non-smoking floor, I was assigned to a smoking room on 9/F. As a non-smoker, I expected a slight cigarette smell, but the odor in the room was quite heavy. I informed housekeeping to spray air freshener while I was out for dinner, but the smell persisted, and even after checking out, I could still smell it on my clothes. Additionally, the room itself felt outdated, reminiscent of the 1980s, and it is in urgent need of upgrades and maintenance. The decor and furnishings could definitely benefit from a refresh to enhance the guest experience. Another downside was the Wi-Fi connectivity. The signal in my room was poor, making it impossible to download games to my Switch. I found myself having to stand in the corridor just to complete the download, which was quite inconvenient. On a positive note, the staff were polite and attentive, which made a difference in my stay. I also appreciated the spaciousness of the room, which provided some comfort despite the other issues. In summary, while the Harbour Plaza North Point Hotel has potential with its friendly staff and spacious accommodations, significant improvements are needed in terms of room conditions, maintenance, and amenities.
Camlux Hotel

Hung Hom and Kowloon City
Stayed at Camlux (Camel + Luxury) for one night while on a business trip. Cleanliness, service, and amentites check all the boxes for this price point. Slight issue is location as it's away from the city center. Quiet location though. Comfortable bed and strong water pressure. MegaBox 8-minute walk which has many food and shopping options. I would stay at Camlux again.
WAKE Concept Hotel

Yau Ma Tei
This is perfect for 1 night and exceeded our expectations (we were a bit concerned after reading some reviews). The hotel and the common areas are well-designed, there is free coffee in the lobby, a small terrace and even a reasonably sized fitness room. The room was small - but we were expecting that, and the size was manageable for one night. Everything was perfectly clean and the shower pressure was good. The shower does get the floor of the toilet area wet but it is manageable using the bath mat. Service from the front desk was also good, efficient and friendly.
iclub Sheung Wan Hotel

Sai Wan and Sheung Wan
Hotel Review This hotel is conveniently located, just a 5-minute walk from the MTR and tram stations, making it easy to get around the city. The rooms are small, but this is typical for Hong Kong and they are adequate for a comfortable stay. The walls are a bit thin, so soundproofing is moderate—you might hear some noise from adjacent rooms. There are only two elevators, so waiting times can be a bit long, especially during peak hours. The power outlets come with safety switches, so it’s recommended to bring a compact universal adapter. The hotel also offers free cold and hot water dispensers, as well as a coffee machine in the lobby, which is a nice convenience. There’s a small outdoor fitness area, which is a unique addition. Overall, a pleasant stay with useful amenities and a great location for getting around. (Lobby view 2F)
OASIS AVENUE – A GDH HOTEL

Tsim Sha Tsui
Good location near the center and MTR. Upon check in, I was informed that smoking is prohibited in the room. When I enter to the room, get smoke smell, I ask room for change but staff said will send HK for spray, no room for change. I have to stay in this room for whole period, very disappointed. Not provide drinking water in the room, you can buy at convenient store near by.
