The front desk service of the hotel is warm and thoughtful, and the problems raised can be solved with heart. The overall environment is warm and quiet, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Will choose again next time. The environment is very good, and the surrounding air is very good

The executive room is exceptionally clean. It smells good too. Location is convenient as well only 5 mins from MTR station. It has a laundry room on the 2nd floor which free of charge. But you will need to buy detergent at front desk or prepared by yourself. Highly recommended!

Sohotel has in its location its major and probably only strong point. The hotel is located at a walking distance of all major locations around Central HK and that was the only reason that took me to choose it. The staff is nice but the hotel is really small and with very short amenities. If it was a hotel in the range of 700-800hkd it would be acceptable but prices charged are more than double of this so, I can say that although the choice was a conscientious one it feels like we are being deceived. Additionally I was unlucky to have fell in a room where was not possible to rest all night as next door was occupied by what seemed like a porn live streamer that spent all night moaning and screaming but that’s just unlucky not a hotel problem. Bed is comfortable.

Hotel Review: Casa Hotel, Hong Kong I recently stayed at Casa Hotel in Hong Kong and had a pleasant experience. The location in Yau Ma Tei is fantastic, close to public transportation and local attractions. The rooms are compact but well-maintained, offering all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Although the breakfast options were limited, the convenience of nearby eateries made up for it. Overall, Casa Hotel provides good value for money for travelers looking for a comfortable stay in the heart of the city.

Location is perfect. However, the room size and the space in corridor are just so so. Bed is big but the toilet area is just too small and water split everywhere after washing faces or brushing teeth. Also the room size is very small n difficult to open a 28 inch luggage properly. In addition, the hygiene standard is also so so, I found stains on the towels n bedsheets

Was very happy to be given my room at 9am, very pleasantly surprised as I was expecting to leave my bag & return later to check-in. While the hotel is old & worn, my room was clean. No amenities like slippers, toiletries; so will bear that in mind next time. But the location was my main objective: walking distance to Ocean Terminal.  So for an overnight stay, with no fuss & fanciness, it suited my agenda.

We had a group of six and did multiple bookings to get rooms with two beds and some with one bed. Everyone enjoyed their stay. The rooms are clean, a great size for 2 people and the ac worked well, the staff were very kind and a little perk was that the mini fridges in each room worked remarkably well. The beds are firm which some of us loved. The location was perfect for us! Close to markets, shopping and transit. We checked off everything we wanted to do (dim sum, star ferry, day/night markets) with ease because of the great location. Would be happy to book a stay here again!

Outstanding
GGuest UserI am a loyal Royal Plaza Hkg guest and i have stayed more than 10 times over the years. Love the spacious room, perfect for our family of 4. This trip , our family went to Shenzhen first before Hong Kong and was disappointed to find out that Royal Plaza Hkg cannot match the comfort level of a 4* hotel we stayed in Shenzhen for 2/3 of the price. 1. The bathroom is dated and shower water pressure is super low. Oh, and the hair dryer …. i think it is product of the 80s. (My last hotel provides dyson) 2. the free shuttle service to tsim sar zui no longer available. 3. bed and pillows were comfortable, just the warm room (though i have adjusted to the lowest temperature possible) marred the experience of a good night sleep (for me). It was fine during the day, it warmer n stuffier during the wee hours. Like it or not, definitely a change of temperature before and after sleep.

EEdiGThe hotel positions itself as a 4-star establishment, but it falls short of that mark. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Location: The location is excellent, if you don't mind a steep uphill walk. However, the entire island is built on different levels, which isn't a negative but rather a positive – a daily workout! There's a bus stop right by the hotel, making it easy to reach the metro instead of walking up and down, straining your leg muscles. Next door is a botanical and zoological garden where you can take a stroll. By the way, entry is free. A 10-minute walk down the hill leads to the cable car ”tram” stop for a trip to Victoria Peak. Check-in: Check-in was fast, but a USD 300 deposit is required, which isn't mentioned on either the trip.com website or the hotel's website. If you need an adapter for your electronic devices, ask for one right away – the receptionist won't offer it. Room: The room is relatively clean, though I did find some hair in the kitchen and on the bedding. For Hong Kong, the room is spacious, but there's nowhere to store a suitcase. You can set the temperature on the air conditioner, but it doesn't work. It only blows cold air, making the room humid. Kitchen: The kitchen is minimally equipped, but it's sufficient. However, upon check-in, they warn you that the stove can only be used for reheating food, not cooking, as the fire alarm system is very sensitive and might activate the siren due to hot steam. You must turn on the exhaust fan to full power and the air conditioner to avoid triggering the alarm. Why bother having a kitchen at all? Bathroom: The same situation as with the kitchen – you need to close the door and turn on the air conditioner at full power while showering to avoid the fire alarm being triggered by steam from the bathroom. The shower hose started leaking on the second day of my stay. It was replaced with a new one, which also leaked. When the technician replaced the hose, did he check if the equipment was working properly? I doubt it. Breakfast: Breakfast is only served from a menu, which is quite limited. It's delicious, but not diverse. Is this the service you'd expect from a 4-star hotel? The breakfast organization is chaotic – staff running around and clanging dishes. Two slow coffee machines and one toaster keep guests waiting in line. By the way, there are plastic mugs for tea and coffee. The only fruit options are two types of apples – red and green. Service: The service is polite, but I'd say it's ”on demand.” You need to ask for shampoo, shower gel, and dishwashing liquid to be refilled. The housekeeping, for some reason, doesn't notice the need to replenish hygiene products in the bathroom and kitchen. Environmentalism: As in all of Hong Kong, they no longer provide water in plastic bottles. That's good, but come up with an alternative so guests don't have to go to the store for water. In my opinion, this environmental concern is simply an opportunity to reduce service costs while maintaining high accommodation prices. Speaking of breakfast again, the jam and butter are provided in small plastic containers, just like on airplanes. Is this really about caring for the environment? Conclusion: Overall, it's a good choice if you're not bothered by the minor service inconsistencies and if you don't have high expectations for a 4-star hotel. If you're visiting Hong Kong, I'd recommend Two MacDonell Road.

MmiSs JMMy daughter and I had 10 hours layover in HK and decided to book a hotel near the airport. This hotel is perfect for its location, less than 10 mins away by taxi and offers FREE airport pick up/drop off service. The room is relatively small but cosy and clean. The only thing I did not like is that they do not provide bottle of water in the room, however they provide an empty bottle that you can refill outside the room (which I couldn’t figure out where, since the hotel is big so I just ended up heating tap water using the kettle 😅) Nevertheless, I liked that this hotel is accessible and near, less hassle if you have a super early flight the next day. 100% recommended! 😉

But there have only 4 clothes hangers are not enough for winter use, or hanging clothes after washing clothes. Times up must be left and locked the door is not a good service. Long queue for check in. One receptionist is not enough, and low efficiency.

MMun KeatRoom is as per advertised. I measured myself and the square footage of 16 m2 is accurate. The good service would be the cleaners. Don't expect top notch service from the front desk. If you sit at the lobby, you can hear a lot of complaints from the front desk talking about their customers' request. Talking bad about your customers are never a good things especially more in front of other customers. Location is good, with a bit walking require to MTR station. There is a bus station directly in front of the Hotel. You can take bus 101 to Central.

MManta1Resort is an inflated term. Pool closed, spa closed, rooms are upstairs but there is no elevator so be ready to carry your bags. Small washer and dryer in the sauna room, outdated fitness equipment. Weird 'token' system for using the 'resort' things like washer or sauna.Interesting little game area downstairs, a couple kayaks and bikes to rent. Few real amenities that would make this a ”resort”. It's a decent hotel. The rooms are clean but the windows don't open so it gets very stuffy, the fridge froze everything and the bathroom is tiny and dated. My view was gross, so I kept the shade down. When the tide is out there is a beach, it is close to the ferry pier and a very pretty view when the construction is not going. The sun rises right in front of the hotel! Restaurant has a large menu for dinner, but only one choice for breakfast (set meal or nothing). What saves this place is the staff! They are wonderful, lovely people!
