Silka Seaview hotel provided us with what we needed for a cheap stay to explore Hong Kong. The hotel was about 5 minutes from the metro station was meant we could get around Hong Kong easily. The hotel was basic and a bit dated but clean and was fine for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful on reception and I would recommend this hotel for anyone on a budget.

The hotel location is close to the Tsuen Wan metro station as well as buses. There is a direct KMB A31 bus to the airport near the front of the hotel that cost just HKD10. There are many eating places and shops close by.
