Big hotel with newly renovated rooms, so everything is in good condition. Clean and big rooms. We had a corner room which the window is facing directly at the Landmark 81, we were able to enjoy the fireworks for new year eve.

Request to a quiet room upon booking so they will assign you to such so you can relax. Based on our experience, upon arrival we were assign a room on Rex Hotel side which is too noisy. We then requested to move to a quieter room but was told that only a room with 1 queen bed is available (we booked for a room with 2 beds) to which we accepted. The room seemed not often used but was quiet than our first room. We were then asked if we would like to transfer to another woth two beds the following day which we agreed. We left our bags at the lobby while waiting for the room availability we left the hotel. When we came back we were told that our room was ready and they upgraded it to a bigger room. They are very approachable and responded to requests as fast as they could. Breakfast buffet was great. There are usually events during weekends and they close the roads surrounding the hotel so you need to walk a bit if you arrive or leave during weekends.

Perfect location. Really can’t be any better on the location and the staff and cleanliness and updated classic decor was all great. Only two small tips for travelers. Ask for a non-connecting room. Reason being the sound proofing between connecting room doors is very poor. While we loved our stay, we also heard everything our neighbors said and did (and same for them I’m sure). That is not ideal. Other small feedback is the breakfast buffet. The food is good and it’s a great buffet but the room is on the small side and the hotel is usually busy, so it’s not the most relaxing breakfast situation. Back to all the good things. Perfect launch pad for walking Saigon and local restaurants. The pool and gym are pretty nice as well. Staff were uniformly wonderful. Recommended. Opera view rooms do have a better view at any level. If on non opera house side, you probably need to be above level 16 to enjoy a view.

I could say most affordable 5 star hotel with that facility ! Room is spacious and clean . Lovely decor. I enjoyed bath tub while watching TV . Coffee and water were not enough provided but they gave you free soft drinks like coke / even beer even I don’t take these maybe some ppl love it ! I tot normaly bottle of water cames complementary at 5 star hotel in Asia so I didn’t bring water bottle and expect proper coffee maker at least Nespresso but they don’t . But convince store is just behind of hotel and Ho chimin has many good coffee place for morning so should be not big issue 🙂 room is v pretty !

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with crisp linens and a variety of pillows to choose from. The bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with high-quality toiletries. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the UNLIMITED complimentary bottled water. The hotel boasts a range of amenities that made my stay even more enjoyable. The rooftop pool offered stunning views of the city skyline and was a great spot to relax. The complimentary breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations with its diverse selection of fresh and tasty options. Throughout my stay, the staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. Room service was prompt, and housekeeping did an excellent job each day.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the quality linens and pillows. The air conditioning worked perfectly, maintaining a comfortable temperature throughout my stay. The bathroom was spotless, with a powerful shower and a good selection of toiletries. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.

Love the afternoon tea and breakfast. Great location. Staff is friendly and welcoming. However, just only 1 chef at the crepe/ waffle station ( afternoon tea) was rude to my friend when she ask for assistance. Also when i ask for just a few pieces of fresh banana for my son’s waffle dish, he refused and forced me swap with banana crepe. Please… it was not a big issue but it is not right, specially, happened in 5 stars hotel. We have a surprised gift, it was great but please bring before we check in/ or need to ask our permission to enter our room. Don’t enter our room if we weren’t there after checking in. Overall, we love the hotel vibe and location.

My stay here was disappointing for several reasons. First, when I checked in, I encountered an issue about payment. I booked the stay via Trip.com using my credit card, assuming the hotel would charge it automatically. However, when I arrived, I was informed that payment had to be made at the counter by credit card or cash, debit card is not allowed. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my credit with me, and there is no ATM nearby that allowed me to withdraw enough cash in a single transaction. This caused significant stress and inconvenience. Second, when I used my room card to enter my assigned room for the first time, I found that another guest already inside. Thankfully, they had used the extra lock, or I would have walked straight into their room. When I reported this to the hotel, their first response is “How is that possible?” That’s exactly my question, how could such a mistake occur? Also, the laundry fee is very high, carefully check the price before sending your clothes. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was good, and the location is ideal for visitors.
