We booked a room at Tropical House and were very disappointed when we arrived. The room was very different in condition from the one we looked at in the photographs at the time of booking. The furniture in the room was old, broken, the bed linen was stale, the towels had holes. We immediately went to the reception to cancel our reservation, but they refused to do so. They gave us the phone number of the hotel owner and told us to resolve the issue with her. But she also refused to give us a refund and asked us to stay in the room, and the next day she promised to put us in a better room. The next day the room was indeed a little better, but there was still an unpleasant aftertaste from the way the guests were treated. In addition, the room was not cheap - we paid about 20 dollars per night. We hope that in the future Tropical House will not provide guests with rooms with broken furniture or towels with holes. I would like to note that trip.com was very sympathetic to us and compensated us for part of the unpleasant experience with coins, for which we are very grateful to them!

Are the front staff friendly and the guards pleasant? I had a comfortable stay. I couldn't take pictures because I was playing. Still, it was nice that it was close to Ben Thanh and Bui Vien. It was easy to catch a taxi.

Unfortunately, when we returned, the room was even more unbearably hot. Upon further inquiry, the staff finally admitted that the air conditioning for the entire building was broken and wouldn't be fixed until the next day. With the oppressive heat and humidity, it was simply impossible to sleep, especially with two small children and a 20-hour flight ahead of us the next day. Left with no other option, we had to pack everything up and find another hotel at 22:30. This was not only inconvenient but also added unexpected expenses to our trip. Despite this major inconvenience, the hotel management has refused to refund our money, offering a series of excuses instead of a simple apology and refund. The service we experienced was miles away from the typical hospitality we have come to expect in Vietnam. I cannot stress enough how poor the quality and service at Prague Airport Hotel were. There are many other hotels in the vicinity that offer better facilities, free breakfast, and reliable air conditioning for a similar price. I would strongly advise against staying at Prague Airport Hotel - it's simply not worth the risk.

where do all the 5 star reviews come from? We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and would give it 2 stars rather than 3. The location is ok, there are many small shops and restaurants in the area. The hotel was probably built for the Instagram generation. The interior design is really something special and a treat for the eye. The rooms with a fully glazed sanitary area are also small, but beautiful. There is a refrigerator in the room, but it is only for decoration and does not cool. The bed is large and much more comfortable than is usual in Vietnam. Everything is unfortunately only beautiful for the eyes, not for the ears. There isn't much soundproofing. We noticed the love in the next room as well as the flushing of the toilet in the room above and the argument in the corridor. This is simply a NO-GO for such a hotel. The bar was closed when we wanted a drink at 23.00. Breakfest is not served, but there is a coffee machine in the lobby. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we never saw anyone eat and there were so many choices next door. If you're in the area, this is the perfect spot for a drink and a dozen selfies, but I wouldn't recommend it for an overnight stay.
