The hotel is new so it is very clean, the appliances and systems are very new, the staff is lovely, enthusiastic, very friendly. My family went with small children but very fully equipped. It's also convenient to travel. The room is quite spacious and comfortable, soundproofing is also good. Although the baby crying is afraid of disturbing the next room, it is always quiet when going out.

I spend nearly 2 months in Republic Plaza and I had a good experience. The apartments are very nice and new, with balconies and depending on which side is the apartment there is airport view or city view. I loved the fact that it is surrounded of everything you might need, coffees, grocery, seven eleven, beauty saloon where I was going every day, a big supermarket and the shppping malls 15/20 min by Grab and extremely cheap! The republic plaza staff is nice and helpful and always caring! I would love to be back again as the apartment has everything for short and long stays and for anything you might need the manager is always helpful and available!

There are many restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel very convenient, and there are also many massage shops. The service is very good, the young lady at the front desk is very beautiful, fresh and refined. Breakfast is both Chinese and Western, which is quite good. Take a taxi from the airport to around 135K. You can take a bus to Fanwu Lao Street, but it's very slow. The hotel is not far from the main attractions, just walking.

The hotel is very good, if many demands but recently built and simple but functional. The staff was very friendly and the only stick I found was quickly solved: there was a fan to extract the heat from the mini-fridge under the washroom, that fan was making a disturbing noise and I made them discharge it. The hotel is a very good design and quiet.

The service was amazing! I was checked in by Anna, who greeted us with warm welcome, and the room was ready just right at time so we didn’t wait too long. Also, the Manager, Jennifer, who welcomed us with a surprising bouquet! Since it is our anniversary trip, and the hotel remembered the note, that was really sweet💖
The room was clean and stylish, however, the soundproof wasn’t good enough, so we kept hearing the noise from upstair(floor 11), which made our sleeping quality worse. This is the only part that I wish the hotel can improve.

GGuest UserWe stayed here 2N at the start & 2N at the end of our 12D tour. Each time the hotel bellhop was ready to assist us. Cannot say the same for the Reception staff. The 2nd time we were even given a room that we could not even lock and after waiting for some time and still not allocated a new room, we insisted that we be given one asap and they had no choice but to upgrade us. No tourist information was also given and when we asked for a map, they flipped through files and then said that there was none left. Surely, they could photocopy one from their file. We then asked directions to the river and all they told us was that it was too far to walk. We told them we had looked it up before we came to Vietnam and it was within walking distance. It is less than 2km away. The good points of the hotel is that it is very conveniently located opposite Ben Thanh Market and within walking distance to the river, Saigon Opera House and the Saigon Centre/Takashimaya where there were plenty of food choices. The buffet breakfast is also good enough with both Western (scrambled eggs/sausages/ham/salad/plain pastries) and Asian (congee/soup/rice with veg/fish/meat), a fruit juice/tea/coffee/fruits/yoghurt. Just be warned that the hotel's entry is via a flight of stairs. Hence, not suitable for those requiring wheelchair access or the very elderly.

GGuest UserGreat place to stay in HCM! After 2 failed bookings we ended up in Icon Saigon as a back up plan and we ended up staying there for nearly a week. The value you get for the price is the best deal! The hotel is modern, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very complete and in a very pleasant room with good views of the city. The rooftop bar is the perfect place to end the day with many available drinks at a fair price. The staff was very nice and available to help us anytime. We also had plenty of space to work outside the room and the location is perfect, with many restaurants nearby and right by the opera house so we couldn’t ask for anything else.

GGuest UserAu Lac Legend is located in District 3 but its near to the city center at District 1. It took us just under 10mins to stroll to Nguyen Hue Walking Street. We began to appreciate the fact that its within walking distance but not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Saigon as its much more quiet here with just the occasional honking of the motorbikes on the street below. The hotel is well decorated in an ethnic charm with an Indochine style to it which we like, its well maintained and clean most times. The hotel manager, this tall gentleman Henry was very helpful to give us lots of tips and info about Saigon City Tours. He is always smiling and very accommodating to all the guests and I think that sets a very good example for all his staff to follow. The front desk receptionist, I think her name is Fairy, was so friendly and helpful whenever we have questions to ask her. The hotel has a sky bar with a roof top pool which looks more like a large dipping jacuzzi as its very small for a pool, not meant for swimming but its ok as the hot weather just make you want to soak in there. The little cafe on the roof top is nice, they do serve afternoon tea with snacks, cakes and pastries daily from 3-5pm. By the way, the breakfast area is small but still a good size for the capacity of this hotel. It offers a good spread if you were to stay for 2-3 nights but nothing to complain about as most room bookings comes with breakfast included and that's already value for money for the price you are paying. We stayed on the 10th floor at the Suite Room which comes with a Queen and a Single bed. Good size room with an area for a sofa and coffee table. We love the bathroom which is spacious with separate areas for the standing bath and the bath tub. Now, the only bad thing we can find for this hotel is the shower water, its inconsistent in the hot water, it takes a long time for water to be heated up and when you are showering, it may turn cold anytime. So may I suggest for the management to look into this? A few more staff which I would like to compliment is that fizzy hair supervisor at the breakfast area, he makes an effort to make sure the guests are comfortable so that is good. All the other breakfast staff are also very diligent and hardworking. One suggestion to make is, for the breakfast staff to indicate that a table is taken while the guests go pick up their food at the buffet area. I saw quite a few confusion when guests didn't realize that certain tables had been taken and they just sat down which resulted with the actual table guests coming back with their food to their table that has been occupied by other guests. I also wished to special mention the hotel security staff Ray who is always very helpful and service with a smile all the time. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone.

GGuest UserNoisy location. Nice rooms. We booked a premium double and we're put on the 7th (728) floor. Unfortunately we could here Karaoke (bad Karaoke) till the early hours. I asked to be moved the next morning and we were moved to a twin room 704 which was much quiter thankfully. Breakfast was good and gym OK. Pool never seemed to be in the sun but not a huge problem.

AAlita_First, please comment on the attitude of the staff, except for Bellman who is very welcoming and enthusiastic, other employees who meet guests treat guests as invisible people. Although I know that one day many guests go up and down, I stayed for 3 days and did not receive any nods from the staff even though I was always in a state of preparing to say hello. The cleaning lady is also very enthusiastic because she is also neat, so she asks to clean her room every time she meets her. Hot showers sometimes appear like a god but sometimes travel to the North Pole. In general, at this location with the price of 3 days 1,651,000 is also satisfied, just wish the staff were more friendly.
