Had to contact Landlord on arrival to gain entry. Pool wasn't available to use on the first day due to maintenance and landlord wouldn't compensate via agent even though this was the reason for choosing that location. Trip very helpful resolving the issue so no complaint with them.

While it was a nice stay, there were a few things that could have definitely been improved. First and foremost was the amount of flies in the dining area. I'm not sure if this is a normal thing or just because it's raining now, but the whole dining area was just full of flies. It wasn't possible to sit down and eat or drink a coffee without having 10 or 20 flies just buzzing around you. It also didn't make sense that they would not allow for the canopies to be set up even at the height of the Sun, allegedly because of high winds. They should get canopies that would actually be able to do its job during nice sunny and windy days. Because that is exactly what people would be looking for. Otherwise rooms were pretty well decked out, and the service staff was friendly and competent. Location-wise, it's close to the expat area in Saigon, which may or may not be suitable for your purposes. I've been to other Riverside hotels before and while this one is good I think the location is just a bit odd.
