Located in a downtown area about a 10-minute walk from Fukui Station, there are many one-way streets and crowded streets, and the road to the multi-storey car park behind the hotel is a bit difficult. Check-in is manned and payment is machine style. Have free coffee in the front lobby and go to your room. The room is a general Dormy Inn Standard, with a certain size and no feeling of oppression. There are about 30 lockers for the 9th floor large communal bath, 10 washrooms in the bathroom, an indoor bath and a sauna bath for about 7 people, and an open-air bath and a cherry blossom bath for about 4 people outside. Sakuragi along the Asuwa River seen from the bathroom window was in full bloom. Free ice cream and unreasonable lactic acid beverages are placed at the bathhouse by time of day. Breakfast was on the 1st floor, with Japanese and Western buffets, Echizen soba noodles, and local dishes such as Atsuage and Sesame Tofu from Eiheiji Temple. I was able to spend comfortably with stable Dormy Inn Standard, room, bath and breakfast.

The location is good if the price is cheap and you go by car. There are several restaurants, supermarkets and bakery within walking distance, so you don't have to eat. Breakfast buffet is also quite delicious. Maybe you should make a reservation directly from the titanium in page a while ago.

The location, facilities, environment, food, bathing, etc. all have meanings and meanings, but these are not intrusive, and are due to the fact that they are adjacent to Eiheiji Temple. As soon as you enter the facility, you are enveloped by the scent of incense, and Robiichi is small but beautiful. The rooms are clean and take advantage of the best aspects of Japanese and Western style. It's not fancy, but the high-quality beds and furniture are simple and comfortable. I can see guests relaxing by the window of their guest rooms, looking out at the stream in front of them, and I found myself doing the same thing with a cup of coffee in hand. For meals, you can choose between vegetarian cuisine and regular cuisine, but we recommend vegetarian cuisine. It had a lot of flavor and even my husband was full. (Maybe it was because I ate Soichi Sukatsudon for lunch.) The inn is connected to Eiheiji Temple of the Soto sect, and I was able to participate in the meditation experience (starting at 3:30 p.m.) and the morning service (from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.). I can. You will also be given special access to the Dharma Hall and Buddhist Hall under the guidance of a monk. There was no elevator, so there was a lot of climbing up and down stairs, so it was difficult for elderly people with walking disabilities. On that day, 18 rooms were full and there were about 20 to 24 participants, six of whom were foreigners who were sitting in the front row, meditating enthusiastically. We gathered at Lobby 1 and listened to the explanation before walking to Eiheiji Temple, but since most of the explanation was in Japanese, I thought it would be a good idea to give them an English guide in advance. Even with the explanations in Japanese, there were some parts that I didn't understand, such as technical and historical terms. As for the customer base, I imagine that 70-80% of the customers are women. The public bath is not large, but perhaps because my schedule was a little off, I was able to reserve it for myself and enjoy a relaxing soak. I checked in in late October wearing a thin autumn coat, but I made the correct decision to wear down jackets for work the next morning. The inn's private parking lot is separate and charges a fee, but there is a nearby parking lot that costs 300 yen a day and allows you to enter and exit freely. Other guests were also parked there.

Because it is a hotel that has not been done, it was clean and clean everywhere in the building. Thank you for lending blankets and low repulsion makura. The key to the room was a card key, but if it was another hotel, it would put it in a simple paper container, but it was inconvenient for this hotel. There are many restaurants nearby, but I received it at the hotel tavern because I wanted to drink sake. There was also a convenience store within walking distance and a microwave oven on the first floor of the hotel. I think the price of alcohol in the vending machine is cheap and conscientious in all.

Although the location of Fangquan Hot Spring Hotel is not close to the JR car, the hotel provides a shuttle bus to pick up passengers back and forth. The hotel lobby feels old, but the interior decoration of the room feels much better. The hotel is very large in size and there are several restaurants. The open-air Lufu guest room and the foreign room are very popular. Welcome, son-in-law can choose bathrobes. The open-air wind environment is very good, and the spring water temperature can be adjusted by yourself. The room is air-conditioned, but there is no handwashing plate in the bathroom. It is inconvenient to wash your hands in the dressing room next door. The bathroom space is relatively narrow. The water is also slow. There is a handrail for the elderly to use by the bed in the western room. It is very considerate. The western room has a comb and is very comfortable. The room is fully equipped. One berth and two meals are ”going to eat”. The restaurant is first-class decoration. Although the waiter is older, it can be communicated in simple English, and it is very enthusiastic. Considerate. The large bath on the top floor of the main building can see the stars, very beautiful. The open-air windy guest room and villa also have a dedicated windy, the interior decoration is very new, there are massage chairs. In the evening, there are stalls in the hotel lobby for guests to play. The hotel has a lobby for guests to rest, free coffee, tea, etc. There are also hot spring eggs for guests to enjoy. Overall, although the hotel price is not cheap, but the service and environment are really good.

In response to the request of the family of ”Nearby hot springs”, we used it for the first time in several years. We prepared a large room in Matsukaze domain and relaxed. It was always used only inexpensive juraku building, and it was often said that it was easy to be low in the level of Nakai, but Matsukaze domain was only high in the stone, and Nakai was also firm. It was safe. The food was delicious. It was a dish that was very satisfying with five senses, such as sashimi that was enough to convince the tongue of the local people who were accustomed to fresh fish, fried tempura of fried and fried, A5 rank Wakasa beef, hell baking of cherry blossoms, etc. It was a room with an open-air bath, so I didn't have to go to a crowded public bath and soaked as much as I liked when I liked it. I remembered a lot of luxury in this stay. If you want to enjoy the taste of the ashes, and if you don't want to fail in the ashes, I strongly recommend the room with Matsukaze an open-air bath.

LLIPING 2019.12.03
The hotel has a pick-up and drop-off at the station, and it can be delivered to the airport. This is very good. The hot spring is very comfortable. The room should be larger, and it will be more comfortable. The hot spring will be replaced by male and female soup every day. There is also a private soup to choose from. After staying for two days, the choices for breakfast and dinner are different. For dinner, it is still better than teppanyaki. The cuisine is obviously not as good as the previous one. The crabs in this season are very delicious.

GGuest User 2023.05.02
We booked this onsen on line ourselves. We have travelled to Japan before and have previously experienced other onsen and accompanying Kaiseki meals. We were a little surprised at the location of the onsen. It was in the suburbs. But maybe that was our fault. The area around did seem to be run down. There were a few sad looking shops around. Some were closed. Maybe because of Covid. Maybe it is not geared for foreign tourists. The building is not modern. It had a faded glory about it. It is large and rambling. Our room /suite had a private outdoor bath. We were actually on the fourth floor. The tap to the outdoor bath would not turn off and was continuously dripping. It was outside so didn't bother us but should have been obvious to staff. Likewise the cladding on one wall was coming off and the tiny garden was scruffy and full of dead leaves. This was disappointing and not up to the standard of other onsen we have stayed at previously. The room however were spotless. All the staff were very good, from check in, to the tea servers, the waiters and breakfast room attendants. The ladies got to choose the colour of the kimono they would wear for the evening, which was a nice touch. The Kaiseki meal was served in the restaurant which had bamboo blinds separating the various tables. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and thought the waiter did an excellent job juggling the tables. The wine was reasonably priced. The breakfast was buffet style and had an enormous choice. Sadly we had to catch an early complimentary shuttle to the station so we just had a quick breakfast, and truthfully we were still full from the meal the night before. We did not partake in the free ice cream or public onsen so can't comment here. The small gift shop was adequate but lacking in nice little souvenirs of the area. So all in all we had a good experience.

GGuest UserI stayed to enjoy the Echizen crab in season. When I entered the budget and the inn with the source hanging hot spring at the time of reservation, it was this inn that I found. There are many hot spring inns in this area, but most of them are circulating filtering, and the number seems to be quite limited when the source is hanging. The local area is a 2 story building facing the port. The appearance is made of a bit old concrete. There are also places where the interior is renewed and not. There is no luxury or gorgeous atmosphere as the name of the national lodging is expressed. The rooms are clean and the windows have a view of the port and the sea. The bathroom is on the first basement floor. The dressing room is a bit small, but is the bathroom 20 tatami mats wide? There are 2 bathtubs of hot water and ordinary temperature hot water. The hot water in the alkaline simple hot spring is colorless and transparent, but when I smelled it, I smelled like a mineral. The open-air bath, which seems to be attached, is an interesting construction that climbs the stairs from the bathtub and opens the door and descends down. The roofed open-air bath faces the sea, but because the wind was strong, all the sliding doors were tightened. I think it is made of this because of the strong wind location. The open-air bath is a wet water in a small bathtub with a 3 person, but there was a valve that could increase the supply of the source. It seems that you can adjust the temperature a little by this. I think it is rare in the hanging hot spring that the temperature can be adjusted by the supply amount instead of the water. There is no personality in the quality of the hot spring, but the hot water and its use situation were sufficiently convinced by the hot spring mania. It is a crab dinner after entering the bath. The dining room seems to be before renewal and is cleanly cleaned, but it is a bit old interior. The Showa CD radio cassette was placed at the window and played BGM. When I arrived at the seat, I had a fresh tag of Echizen crab, which seemed to have been boiled just before, and it came out as a main dish. It is a method of removing the ”fudoshi” by myself, taking the shell, putting the scissors in and cutting it. It is not cut in advance like a luxury inn, so it takes a lot of time to eat. There was a procedure for peeling, but it cannot be done as it is. But if you like real crab, this may be better. In addition, the seasoning of crab rice, tempura, and local fish sashimi was also good and sufficiently satisfying. In addition, Echizen crab can increase the amount by advance reservation, but it is naturally the price. This time, it was a plan of Echizen crab with 500g class tag, but this was enough for us. The customer service is friendly overall. It feels like a local uncle aunt is responding. It is completely unsuitable for the direction of expecting a service that is exhaustive, but it was good that we did not use our mind. I think this inn will be divided into people who are not suitable for the person who fits. However, if you are concerned with hot springs and want to enjoy crab reasonably, I think you will definitely put it in the choice.

TTabizukipoWe used it for our own night on a business trip. It is located on the north side of Fukui Jo Castle site in the north of Fukui Station and can come from Fukui Station in about 10 minutes walk through the castle site. The room was Japanese and there was no bath, but there is no problem because there is a bath on the 2 floor. There is no complaint because you can stay without 4000 yen for a night stay. By the way, I didn't look for a convenience store around, so I would like to raise what I need when I come from the station.

のあ大好きI made a reservation with adult 1 name child 1 name, but for some reason I made a reservation with only adult 1 name at check-in. However, after that, I delivered pillows and slippers for children to the room, and I didn't feel uncomfortable with an apology. There was a large communal bath and I was able to spend comfortably with breakfast. Free coffee is also a nice service. There was also a large shopping center in front of the hotel, where you could shop and have dinner on foot.
