Echizen Mangetsu is located in Fukui and takes about 40 minutes by bus from Fukui Station, near Atagozaka and Kuju Bridge. Yukata are available for guests to wear during their stay. Guests may borrow hair dryers at no additional charge (please inquire at the front desk for details). Facilities include a communal bath and a karaoke room. The hotel possesses 9 guest rooms.
3-minute walk from West Exit of JR Fukui Station. Located near the moat around Fukui Castle Ruins, Fukui Phoenix Hotel hotel has good access to government office area. Especially, from Jr Sweet Rooms, you can enjoy a vast view of Fukui Castle Ruins. All rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi. The restaurant Yokokan boasts the dishes with local seasonal food.
It was my first stay in Fukui. Convenient near the station, reasonable price, and comfortable space with different layouts from other hotels. However, the toilet in the bathroom was small, and somehow it was unnatural inclination in the toilet seat and it felt unsettled. It is no problem that the minimum amenities are required, but I thought that it was not less than one bath towel and one hand towel. And it was a breakfast setting, but I thought that it was not necessary to be that content (including the amount) even after the corona disturbance. You will be pleased to discount 100 yen or 200 yen. I made a reservation because the price setting was cheap, but I don't think I will make a reservation if it is a normal price. It became a good study.
It is about 10 walk from the station. It seems to be close to downtown, but there is no particular noisy. The building is not new, but the room is clean and there is also an air cleaner, and there are enough facilities necessary. It was a small room at the time of booking, but I had no problem at all, and compared to a 〇 hotel or East 〇 Inn, this is more relaxing. It is a good facility for a large bath.
I stayed to enjoy the Echizen crab in season. When I entered the budget and the inn with the source hanging hot spring at the time of reservation, it was this inn that I found. There are many hot spring inns in this area, but most of them are circulating filtering, and the number seems to be quite limited when the source is hanging. The local area is a 2 story building facing the port. The appearance is made of a bit old concrete. There are also places where the interior is renewed and not. There is no luxury or gorgeous atmosphere as the name of the national lodging is expressed. The rooms are clean and the windows have a view of the port and the sea. The bathroom is on the first basement floor. The dressing room is a bit small, but is the bathroom 20 tatami mats wide? There are 2 bathtubs of hot water and ordinary temperature hot water. The hot water in the alkaline simple hot spring is colorless and transparent, but when I smelled it, I smelled like a mineral. The open-air bath, which seems to be attached, is an interesting construction that climbs the stairs from the bathtub and opens the door and descends down. The roofed open-air bath faces the sea, but because the wind was strong, all the sliding doors were tightened. I think it is made of this because of the strong wind location. The open-air bath is a wet water in a small bathtub with a 3 person, but there was a valve that could increase the supply of the source. It seems that you can adjust the temperature a little by this. I think it is rare in the hanging hot spring that the temperature can be adjusted by the supply amount instead of the water. There is no personality in the quality of the hot spring, but the hot water and its use situation were sufficiently convinced by the hot spring mania. It is a crab dinner after entering the bath. The dining room seems to be before renewal and is cleanly cleaned, but it is a bit old interior. The Showa CD radio cassette was placed at the window and played BGM. When I arrived at the seat, I had a fresh tag of Echizen crab, which seemed to have been boiled just before, and it came out as a main dish. It is a method of removing the ”fudoshi” by myself, taking the shell, putting the scissors in and cutting it. It is not cut in advance like a luxury inn, so it takes a lot of time to eat. There was a procedure for peeling, but it cannot be done as it is. But if you like real crab, this may be better. In addition, the seasoning of crab rice, tempura, and local fish sashimi was also good and sufficiently satisfying. In addition, Echizen crab can increase the amount by advance reservation, but it is naturally the price. This time, it was a plan of Echizen crab with 500g class tag, but this was enough for us. The customer service is friendly overall. It feels like a local uncle aunt is responding. It is completely unsuitable for the direction of expecting a service that is exhaustive, but it was good that we did not use our mind. I think this inn will be divided into people who are not suitable for the person who fits. However, if you are concerned with hot springs and want to enjoy crab reasonably, I think you will definitely put it in the choice.
The Japanese-style room has three floors and no elevator. It is booked overseas nearly a month in advance. The store actually arranged to live on the third floor! The waiter helped to carry the suitcase upstairs. He was tired enough. The service three stars were given to him. Check out and climb the box.
The room is not big, public toilets, public bathrooms, many years have not lived in rooms without separate toilets, bathroom baths must be reserved in advance, can be washed for half an hour. Sound insulation is not good, affecting sleep.
Nearly 20,000 yen per night on weekends, I feel like I have been a big head, the facilities are old, fortunately it is still clean, maybe it is a cultural difference, it is indeed a different experience.
We were on a 15day holiday in Japan and stayed 1 night here while in Fukui. Glad we chose this hotel. We drove 2 cars. Hotel parking cost 500Yen overnight. It is very near the train station and we could find restaurants for dinner. It was a good stopover in Fukui. The rooms seems to be half renovated. While the bathroom and vanity top seems really outdated, the beds and carpet were new. The 2 queensized bed was so comfortable and very spacious for our family. The hotel has no kitchen and does not have a breakfast option. There was a arcade section with claw machines that could keep the kids entertained. This seems to be a family oriented hotel. We would like to thank the frontdesk Manager for helping to send a luggage that we left behind to Nagoya for us. We could not find a email to your website. Thank you for all your help, please note that we have paid TaQbin in full as well. Hope the hotel will read this. Overall, would recommend this hotel for family.
Too expensive (opportunistic price hike) Following the prefectural resident discount, there is a national travel support program, but the price increase goes beyond what is intended, making it completely meaningless. Travel support discounts are a good deal because they are discounted from the previous price, but it seems like a scam to set the base accommodation fee so high in the first place. Moreover, even if you take advantage of the discount, if you stay overnight on Saturdays and Sundays, the total amount you pay will end up being higher. I used to stay here regularly because it was good value for money, but I probably won't stay here again. Perhaps due to a lack of manpower, the food service is sloppy and slow. There are plenty of options at other inns for the 10,000 yen range. In the first place, I don't know what the special feature is, it's an accommodation facility that just sleeps, so why do they set the price like this? As a result, major foreign-funded hotel chains are like this. I think that after public funds stop coming in, customers who are not stupid will choose accommodation facilities in the true sense of the word. At least I won't be using Kamenoi Hotel Fukui again in the future.

Dinosaur Square
黑黑芝麻Fukui City is also known as the hometown of dinosaurs. From JR, Xikou Square has seen several dinosaur models, making dinosaur sounds, attracting many tourists to punch in. After the night lighting cooperation, especially, in the dinosaur world. During the day, I also saw many parents bring their children and come to take pictures with dinosaurs. It is definitely a good place for parents and children to have fun.
Fukui Castle
CChenhutamuFukui City has long existed, and now what is left is some sites, and others have become the office buildings of Fukui Prefecture Government. The remnants of the previous building can still be seen on the site, and there is a well, called Fukui, which should be the origin of the local name.
Yōkōkan Garden
Jjkidd28The courtyard of Yanghao Hall is a villa of the main Songping family, transformed from 7 generations of Yoshida, and the building is surrounded by the return-style Linquan courtyard. Due to partial damage, the repair took several years to restore it to its current appearance.
Ichijōdani Asakura Ruins
空空空CJVery beautiful, impressive and worth seeing. You can also view from the roof. The sculpture hall designed by the sculptor Mr. Asakura is impressive and very interesting, with many works on display. There are some large works, some small ones are very good. Add all the above factors, I think it is worth a look. We like it very much. If it is in the central area of the valley, it is very easy to find.
Asuwayama Park
Zzlj8811Yuzu Mountain Park is located in the center of Fukui, and you can climb Yuzu Mountain to have a panoramic view of Fukui City. It is said that when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in spring, it is the most beautiful season in Yuzu Mountain, but unfortunately we went in autumn.
Fukui Prefectural Museum of Cultural History
CChenhutamuThis museum is on the edge of Yanghao Garden. If there is enough time, you can take a look on the way. But because there are not many exhibitions, and they are all Japanese, they will come out soon.
