A very satisfying stay. The whole service was attentive. I have to admire the service level of a traditional Japanese hot spring hotel. The facilities are also very good, the rooms are large and comfortable. Soaking in the hot springs in the morning and evening is extremely relaxing. The hotel's breakfast and dinner are also very good, and every dish is carefully prepared. Will come again to experience it if I have the chance.

The hospitality of the owner and employees was kind and very attentive.
We were a family of four, but he listened to our conversation during the toast at dinner, and when I said that it was my father's birthday celebration, he gave me a nice chopstick.
The dining room was not a room but a hall, but it was separated and it was like a private room, so I thought the corona countermeasures were wonderful.
There was only one small elevator in the hotel where I stayed, so it is better to leave the room with plenty of time to spare when going to eat.
I want to go again!

The experience of staying this historical hotel is amazing, the staffed are polite and helpful from check in to check out. The public onsen is spacious and comfortable. The fusion food are creative but under average. My room type with an onsen inside also, the garden view is good

11月1日（金）久しぶりの芦原温泉。何度もている温泉地。16:00前、玄関に到着。すぐにスタッフのお出迎え。車を預け、バゲージを運んでもらう。ロビーから部屋係りさんに案内されて、部屋へ。部屋で仲居さんがお茶と浴衣のおもてなし。床の間の生け花にセンスの良さを感じる。十楽棟は8階建て、大きな窓で部屋からの眺望が良い。1階に大浴場ある。早速温泉へ。大浴場は、木をテーマにした「木漏れ日の湯」とパノラマ風の「陽だまりの湯」がある。泉温は40・41度程。翌朝は入れ替えとなる。脱衣場の所に無料の岩盤浴もある。定員2人。食事は部屋食。霜月のお品書きもあるが、仲居さんの料理説明も。室・量とも十分満足できる。喫煙室がロビーの一角にあり、広さも十分で、換気も良い。どのスタッフも丁寧な挨拶。仲居さんとの会話も、スタッフで共有されていて、女将さんともお会いできた。帰りもお見送りがあり、後ろ髪が引かれる思い。また利用したいおもてなしの伝統ある旅館である。

「近場の温泉」の家族の要望に応え、数年ぶりに利用しました。松風庵の広いお部屋を用意して頂き、ゆったりのんびり寛げました。いつもは安価な十楽棟ばかり利用しており、仲居さんのレベルの低さに辟易とする事が多かったのですが、松風庵は流石に格式が高いだけあって、仲居さんもしっかりしていて、安心でした。料理も美味しく感じました。鮮魚に慣れた地元民の舌を納得させるに足る刺身に、揚げたてアツアツサクサクの天ぷら、舌の上でとろけるA5ランクの若狭牛、鮑の地獄焼き、などなど、五感で大満足の料理でした。露天風呂付きの部屋でしたので、混雑する大浴場に行く必要も無く、好きな時に好きなだけ浸かりました。今回の滞在で随分と贅沢を覚えてしまいました。灰屋の醍醐味を堪能したければ、更に言えば、灰屋で失敗したくなければ、松風庵露天風呂付き客室を強くお薦めします。
