B&B HOTEL Ferrara ★★★
"We were traveling from Vienna to Rome by car so this was a good place to stop for the night and be able have a brief look at Ferrara itself which is well worth a visit. Hotel was very comfortable and very good value. The old town was easy to reach by car. "
Hotel Annunziata ★★★★
"We had a lovely, relaxing time here! We stayed in the Annex rooms as they had more space and we found the rooms very quiet and in general of great value! All the staff were extremely polite, professional and friendly. Breakfast was varied and of good quality. We would definitely recommend & return to Hotel Annunziata!! ☺️"
Last Minute Ferrara ★★
"Clean rooms. 12 minutes walking from the train station and the historical center. I enjoyed my stay!"
Hotel Touring ★★★
"It's a bit far from the airport, but there's an airport shuttle bus right outside. It's centrally located in Ferrara. The breakfast was quite satisfactory, and the front desk staff were very friendly. 😊"
Radisson Hotel Ferrara ★★★★
"Ferrara is a beautiful town, very close to Bologna. This hotel is right across the train station, just across the street, a great location. It has all the basic amenities and is convenient for getting to the lively parts of town."
Casa d'Este - Hotel Ferrara ★★★★
"This isn’t your average bad hotel. The staff seemed to go out of their way to be rude and unhelpful, making our stay at Hotel Ferrara a truly dreadful experience. The problems started even before we checked in. On the day of our arrival, we had a flat tire during a storm about 10 miles outside of town and called the hotel to ask whether they could tell us which taxi service served the area we were in so that we could reach the hotel. The hotel reception was quite unhelpful, telling us to search on Google. Gee, I wish I’d thought of that. When we finally arrived at the hotel we found staff who were almost all discourteous and uncooperative. One of the employees pretended not to understand me even though I speak fluent Italian and English. We were later told by one employee that the staff were expecting the hotel’s new owner to replace the staff and so they didn’t care about doing their jobs properly. The room was dirty and run-down - the hair dryer was broken, the room had stains on the floor and walls, cracks in the wall, and was dangerously dark - there were few lights and the ones that existed were very dim. When we complained the desk clerk first pretended not to understand even after viewing the dim room in person. She finally acknowledged the room was too dark but said it wasn’t her fault and offered nothing to ameliorate the situation. We requested she give us another room. She said she would but didn’t and when we followed up with other employees at reception they said she was gone and had made no arrangements to change our room. Making matters worse, in order to reach our room we had to exit the hotel, walk in the rain and cross an unavoidable giant puddle of water in the courtyard. The breakfast was truly revolting - we didn’t touch it. When we complained to the kitchen staff about the dark, crusty scrambled eggs that had obviously been out for too long they made rude remarks to us. When we tried to make all this known to the people at reception they refused to allow us to speak to the hotel manager or to give us the first names of the people who had been rude so we could identify them to management. They claimed it was hotel policy not to reveal even the first name of any employee. (We later discovered this was untrue, as we heard a hotel employee mention her name to another guest.) The staff seemed to make a point of being uncivil and uncooperative. This was not only our opinion. We spoke to other guests who also could not believe this hotel was advertised as 4 stars. I wished I'd read all the bad reviews before booking."
Astra Hotel ★★★★
"For business trips ok"
Best Western Palace Inn Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is smart accomodation for travelers, the EV charger enjoys low rates and breakfast is generous."
Hotel Orologio ★★★★
"I have stayed at the hotel once before and was disappointed at the time that only could stay 1 night, so was nervous that the lovely experience last year might not be as good, would say this time was more 9/10 rather than ten. A couple of the staff where brisk, and check out nearly missed my train as took nearly 10 min to check out person before me! The room as well was 9 out of ten, was on road sude and led to traffic noise so looses a point , and not sure what was happening with the hot water when tried to run a bath, water was a very peculiar colour and put me off. It is less than 10 min walk from station and brisk 10-15 min to old part of town. Breakfast great selection, the female staff member was great, fast and efficient and made great coffee."
