"The house is not far from scenic spots such as Luss Town, in a quiet lakeside town. The room is clean and warm. Breakfast is ordered. When you check in, the proprietress will say hello to you for breakfast the next day. The next day, you will personally prepare it for you according to your meal time. It is a very delicious and delicious breakfast."

"Kenny and Lesley were excellent hosts, very friendly, helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for them. Room was great, views from the lounge were brilliant and food was also excellent. Hotel is in a great location, just walk through the garden and that is you onto the promenade and 5 minutes takes you into town. Car parking right at the front door. Highly recommend."

The Cedars Guest House

"This was our second stay at the Cedars Guest House. Our first stay was in 2019 and when returning to Dunoon for a second visit to this delightful town, we had no second thoughts about staying at the Cedars again. Jackie and Ray are wonderful hosts. Jackie cares about her guests, and goes above and beyond to help ensure that your stay in the area is as best as it can be. Her attention to detail and knowledge is just amazing. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Nice shower and the view from the rooms overlooking the firth are wonderful. Added to that the comfortable chairs to watch the activity on the firth, one could just be content sitting and observing. However, knowing there is so much to see and do, and knowing that a wonderful breakfast is waiting for you, spurs you on to get going in the morning and take on the day. After a day of seeing the sights, it is nice to relax in those comfortable chairs with a cup of tea and just appreciate your good fortune to have had the opportunity to be in Dunoon at the Cedars."

"We visited this guesthouse for a 3 night stay on 1/5/25 We were given a warm welcome by Ken, who was more than helpful, even assisting us with our luggage, He showed us to our room which was absolutely beautiful, overlooking the sea and promenade , everywhere in the guesthouse was spotlessly clean and very welcoming We were shown to our table at breakfast time, which again overlooked the sea, There was something for everyone at breakfast,cereals, fruit, nuts juice, full Scottish and the most wonderful porridge served with “a wee bit of cream” and a drop of whiskey Ken had advised us to book a meal for the first night of our stay and recommended a lovely restaurant a short distance away, we ate there twice, both times the food was lovely and the staff very friendly and attentive ( the Lorne restaurant is well worth a visit) Ken was a lovely host and we would love to visit again in the future"
