We enjoyed our three nights stay in this hotel. Quiet and clean except for some not so pleasant smell from the bathroom. The staff are very friendly, helpful and responsive. This includes the free pickup transport driver, the front desk staff and the janitors as well. The breakfast provided by the hotel was so delicious and nutritious, too. We enjoyed the three mornings breakfast with different menu for three consecutive days. The chef and his wife were also very cheerful to see us enjoy their cooking. 👍👍👍👍👍 This hotel is located near to Datong South Railway Station. If you are using the public bus, there are five buses passing through :#68,#66,#61,#31,#14. Bus #68 & #66 also go to the city. The traveling time from the hotel to the city by public bus is about ½ an hour, ticket price is 2 Yuan each. It's only 20mins by taxi, 15-20 Yuan. There are also some eating shops nearby...

It belongs to the new district. It is near the high-speed rail station. It may be affected by the epidemic. The surrounding construction is deserted. The homestay is next to the deserted area and there are almost no restaurants that can be reached on foot. It is very close to the museum art museum and the Grand Theatre. It is recommended to live near Wanda Plaza. Living in Qianyu, on the second floor, my husband said that it was like illegal construction. The room was cleaned up after two o'clock. The most dissatisfied is hygiene, because I care about hygiene the most, especially the toilet, and I reminded that it was not cleaned. The wooden simple room has no sound insulation. You can hear it if you want to talk. The room is small and the bathroom is large. The score of the homestay is high, and the actual difference between it and my expectations is large. The boss is more Buddhist, and the attitude is OK.

Wenda and all of her colleagues were wonderful! English is spoken here. Fantastic service, friendly, helpful, very clean and spacious rooms, really nice view over the river and at night with all of the lights. Breakfast is good, the facilities are clean and presentable. The room was quiet and the window can be opened if you want fresh air or to cool down the room a bit, the ac works too to cool it down in winter but that’s recirculated air with some people smoking in non-smoking rooms (typical). Our room did not smell which was great and although we had neighbours we could not hear them, so good for light sleepers. Only downside is the bed is firm. Quick 10 minute didi to the ancient city, malls, delicious lunch and food places. The hotel organised a driver to take us to the hanging temple, yungang grottoes and then to a delicious local restaurant very affordable, helpful, reliable and kind driver (WeChat: 永恒). Also recommend going to the art gallery and museum only 10 mins away. It’s a good location.

The environment is very good, the garden and the courtyard are suitable for friends who like to be quiet and away from the noise. It is worth mentioning that the food is really good! Especially how much siu mai for breakfast! Moreover, the siu mai is super delicious and the vinegar is very tasty. I want to eat it even after eating it. Banquets are often held, which means that the grade is not low. It is relatively close to the museum. The only thing is that it is a bit remote. There is nothing around. The traffic is not convenient, but the car is easy to call

Stayed here 3 nights with my family. The hotel is close to the high speed railway station. The guest room is well appointed and comfortable. Cleanliness can do better, there was mold in the bathroom. The bell staff service was lacking, our request to arrange for transport to the Train station on the day of our departure was denied The bell hop asked us t make our own arrangements Other than that, all good during our stay. We would like to make special mention to their Front Office manager, Mr Yang whom we had the pleasure to meet on the first day when we checked in. When he found out that we required a driver and a guide to bring around us to explore Datong, Mr Yang quickly made the arrangement at a reasonable price. He even arranged for the Chinese Restaurant to serve us lunch when he heard that we needed lunch. Lunch at the restaurant was good and we continued to patronise thoroughout our stay. We must compliment the great service rendered by all day dining and Chinese restaurant service teams. Thank you, once again to Mr Yang for going his extra mile to serve us. Your hospitality made our stay at Yungang Hotel so memorable.

The hotel offers free parking, which is suitable for self-driving tours. There are many smart elements inside the hotel, which makes it convenient to serve more people. The room layout is simple and bright. According to my observation, most of the guests staying are families with children. When they stay with children, the hotel can actively provide children's toiletries and children's slippers, as well as souvenirs. The facilities are very new, towels and bedding are clean, the toilet and bath are separated, the bath is separated into dry and wet, and the bathtub provides a disposable bath bag. I only had breakfast in the hotel, and the variety is basically complete. The more distinctive ones are knife-cut noodles and mutton soup. In addition, I would like to specially praise the front desk lady for not only checking in very quickly, but also for her warm attitude, smiling, and answering guests' questions in a timely and accurate manner.

Looking back, I said that I encountered a disturbing but helpless thing on the first night of staying at the hotel. The four alcoholics in the next room drank until four in the morning, and finally ended the war without cigarette sales at the expense of one of the wine fairies. Various ** in the mats are endless, sometimes dancing, drums and songs, so not lively, a party of northern Wei Shengshi weather. It’s a pity that we’re suffering from our next-door neighbor. The itinerary that could be completed for two nights was broken by these four great immortals. We stayed for another night, but the attitude of the hotel is still worthy of recognition. The front desk changed our room in the middle of the night and gave us a free breakfast coupon. The money was saved, and Datong's special breakfast was also a perfect missed. Anyway, the hotel is still a very good hotel, and the software and hardware are in place.

The room was very lighting, big and beautiful views at night. Very clean and the staff was so so helpful. They helped us to book a taxi to go to The Hanging temple and buy tickets. Totally recommended. We will come back. The manager was so friendly.
