2-Star Hotels in Datong

I actually stayed here for three nights, in two different rooms. Both the rooms were very spacious and light, which I appreciated. The room wasn’t spotlessly clean but definitely satisfactory for the price paid. The biggest problem for me was with the bathroom. In the first bathroom, the smell of smoke seemed to be coming through the vent from another room, and in both bathrooms the shower would benefit from hotter water and better water pressure. Despite this, the manager and the sister who worked on the reception were both very friendly and helpful. The manager let me use her phone number for my food delivery(so she could speak to and direct the driver) and even drove me to the hospital to take a COVID test on my last night. They couldn’t have done more to help me and I really appreciated it. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Datong.

Guys this place is amazing! The staff is nice and helpfull, everything is modern and clean, the structure is close to the nightlife. Wish could spend more time there. Just a little bit tricky to find.

Very good youth hostel, sorry, I ate spicy food in the room, the smell may not go away in winter, the boss noticed and brought me a bath towel and hung up my clothes, so good 🥹, I will choose this youth hostel next time I come to Datong!!! It is my first time to stay in this hotel. The overall experience is very good. The boss's service is considerate and thoughtful (๑¯◡¯๑). The business district is very good, the location is good, parking is convenient, especially suitable for families, the entertainment facilities are complete, and the fully automatic mahjong machine is very suitable. Travel and relax! Highly recommended to stay

Facilities: perfect in a hotel of the same level. Hygiene: Clean, tidy, and a hotel at this price can meet such standards. I highly recommend it. Environment: A hotel hidden in a residential area is very cost-effective, let’s not talk about the environment. If you want a high-end environment, then go for a 5-star hotel or above, but it may not be more comfortable (in my opinion). The hotel is suitable for people who personally think that the best choice for general business travelers and couples is super cost-effective! Or those who travel in groups, those with limited travel expenses, and ordinary people!

Overall it's OK, the location is very good, the decoration is OK, the service attitude of the lady at the front desk is very friendly, but the overall infrastructure has some problems and I hope it can be improved. One is that the curtain in the shower room cannot be closed because it is a screen. It can be seen clearly from the outside. I have to leave the bathroom door open these days and then make a self-made block before I dare to take a shower and go to the bathroom. The second is that the shower is not connected to the electricity. The problem is, I feel a slight electric current when I touch the shower switch. I have to unplug the power before I dare to take a shower.

Room are humid but luckily the front desk willing to change room, since room have the musky smell. Location are near to train station but still u need taxi. Beside of taxi u can't go anywhere. And even no convenient store around the hotel. U need to buy whatever u need before coming back to hotel

This hotel is located on a building materials street. There are many vegetables selling downstairs. It is very lively, but it is difficult to park. It is parked on the nearby road. Fortunately, it is much quieter after 7 o'clock in the evening. It is also very convenient to eat. You can eat near Shangyue City through a street. The front desk service attitude is very good, I want to adjust the room type booked online, the front desk is very refreshing to change other room types at the same price, the room air conditioning is very powerful, the night sleep is also very cool, the overall is relatively clean, the shower has shower and sprinkler, water temperature is also suitable, come to Datong will stay here in the future

When I arrived at the big bed room with big windows, it was very clean and the wind was very comfortable. It is very close to the shopping mall bus station and train station, it is very convenient to travel, and the price is very high.

I went to Datong Ancient Town during the May Day holiday. The room in this inn was clean and had no odor. I liked the small sofa next to the bed. The boss was very considerate in providing disposable towels and bath towels, and there was plenty of hot water. Parking is also convenient, not far from the inn, only a five-minute walk away. The location of the inn is very good. It is right next to the clock tower of the ancient city. It is convenient to go anywhere. There are many small restaurants downstairs, which is also convenient for eating. The landlady was very enthusiastic and we had a great time chatting. I like your dog the most.
