We stayed at Yungang Jianguo Hotel for 5 days. The service of the old hotel is quite good. Let me talk about the location first. The hotel is in a very good location. It is on Yingbin Road, not far from Parkson and other business districts. Behind the hotel is the south wall of the ancient city 1 kilometer away. , there happens to be a lantern festival just above, just walking distance. Besides, the hotel's parking lot is very large, which is very suitable for those who come by car. Even if it's the Spring Festival rush hour, you don't have to worry about not being able to park your car. The hotel breakfast is also good, starting at 6:30, with rich varieties, the service staff is very good, and the dishes are removed in time. Knowing that we were going to drive, we thoughtfully prepared fruit, milk and bread for us to take on the road, which was very warm. The important thing to say is that the aunt who cleans the room is very nice. When she comes back from going out every day, the room will be cleaned, bath products will be replenished, and a fruit plate will be provided every day. The hotel also gave me bathing coupons. Datong is a warm city. I will come back and choose to stay here in the future.

It's quite close to the ancient city, only ten minutes' walk. The hotel is relatively new and the environmental conditions are okay. If you have any needs, just ask the front desk to meet your needs. The only thing is that the cleaning is not diligent. I took the initiative to clean the house on the first day of my three-day stay. The garbage bags were changed on the second day. On the third day, I asked for cleaning and it was cleaned. The sign on the door was useless and I had to go to the bar to remind me. Everything else is fine. Staying during the National Day is more expensive, but this one is pretty good value for money.

After the upgrade, I was given 6 packages (an extra 40 yuan per day was added when booking to upgrade). The room is large, but the facilities tend to be old. There is no draft from the roof in the bathroom. Fortunately, the weather has been cooler and dry recently, and there are no mosquitoes coming in when the window is opened.

The room was very lighting, big and beautiful views at night. Very clean and the staff was so so helpful. They helped us to book a taxi to go to The Hanging temple and buy tickets. Totally recommended. We will come back. The manager was so friendly.

Hotel was nice and overall clean but description shows that hotel have non smoking rooms but our first room smells like ashdrray. Hotel was fully booked exept suites (i eas not agreed to pay more) and they promised to overclean our room. But sadly smoke smell didn’t disappeared. Smell was still in the shower room and it was discusting. Next night we got new room and everything was fine. Location is great. Breakfast was modest but ok. You can park your car in to underground parking place and it was without extra cost.

The courtyard itself is also very quiet and comfortable. It is very pleasant to sit in the courtyard and watch the moon during the Mid-Autumn Festival. There is a local antique market at the entrance, and it is interesting to stroll around the street stalls on weekends, and it is also very convenient to walk to the sights in the city. There is recent construction nearby, and the parking is slightly affected. It is estimated that there will be some noise during the day, but it doesn't matter if you can't go out during the day. The boss said that the construction will be finished by the end of October.

Points of satisfaction: It was my first time to visit Datong and I chose Weidu International Hotel. I stayed in the ancient city night view room on the 26th floor and had an unobstructed view of the ancient city night view. The hotel is convenient for parking and traveling, with many businesses nearby, rich restaurants, and convenient shopping. Dissatisfied: When checking into the hotel, a deposit of 1,500 yuan was required for 3 rooms. When checking out, I was told that I could leave first and the deposit would be refunded after checking the room. After arriving home, I received a deposit of 1,462 yuan. No specific details were issued or detailed as to why the deposit was deducted.
