The decoration in the room is a bit old, and the hand-pull toilet feels like going back to the 90s. The public area is like a museum, all authentic British style, and any photo taken is quite good. I had dinner there, which was very good. In short, if you want to experience castles or monasteries in the UK, this is the best choice"

"The room was newly renovated and cozy. For a hotel in the UK, it was quite spacious. The minibar was also free. The cleanliness was just average, probably on par with a 3-star hotel in China. The service was so-so; there was basically no proactive service, and you had to ask for everything. The only minor downsides were that disposable slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste weren't provided in the room, and you had to ask the front desk for them. The location was excellent, about a 2-3 minute walk from the train station and around 12 minutes to the old town. There were also plenty of parking options nearby."
