We were in town for business and a little beach time. The location is nicely situated near several chain restaurants (Outback, BJ’s, Chuys), Check in we were greeted so warmly! Crystal is the star talent of the property. So friendly and hospitable. The hotel has a clean, modern and youthful feel. They have a bar, live entertainment at night, pool table and spacious lounge space for meetings. Our room was quiet and on the top floor. We travelled with our two pugs and they were kindly welcomed and even given a bag of biscuits each day.it’s of good space to take them to do their own “biz meetings” . The room was spacious and thoughtfully designed with loads of cubby holes and ample closet space to keep things tidy. Bathroom shower did seem to have a leaking problem. We had to place towels all over the floor. Enjoyed having a coffee maker, sage and microwave. Sleep: quiet room facing south. AC Unit was a wall type and didn’t blow constantly- it would turn on and off through the night and was quite loud. Great gym facility! Pool was clean and grounds were well kept. And only 15 minutes to our fave spot on whitecap beach to soak up sun after our meetings were done. Will add this our Corpus list. Final props to the amazing staff. Such good people!!

We had reservations across the street at another hotel. It was a disaster. We wanted to leave there but needed another room. I went to HI express and found a room there on a last minute situation. Manager Joan K did an excellent job of finding us a room and we transferred that afternoon. Staff is friendly and helpful. Michael, Megan, and others do a great job of making folks feel welcome and cared for. Recommend this hotel highly.

We originally called Hampton Inn (which is next door) to book a room there. The lady gave us an incorrect address which was one number off. The lady kept assuring us it was the correct hotel. After it was booked and paid for, the hotel that she actually put us in was the Holiday Inn. Oh well. We get here and they put us in a room that was completely disheveled. It looked like someone had partially cleaned it but the bed sheets were wadded up in a chair, there were towels laying around on the floor, and furniture moved around, as well as various key cards on the table alongside a card that said “your room was cleaned by *name*” so we went down to get a new room. The second room was better. Around the room and the hotel there are: random stains, dents and paint chips, the elevator is extremely sketchy and feels/sounds like it’s going to get stuck or fall at any moment, and dark dingy lighting pretty much everywhere. Also, we went to the breakfast bar around 7 (opens at 6:30) and they were completely out of all fresh breakfast items such as eggs, sausage, etc. They did not refill it while we ate our dry bagels and there wasn’t anyone around to ask about it, and the waffle maker was out of order. Don’t book here if you want an updated hotel, a nice pool (it’s crappy), nice views, or a nice breakfast (or one at all). Otherwise the employees we did speak with were friendly and the second room we had was generally clean.

The toilet and shower were not clean at all. Had to clean then myself. The shower had no water pressure. They charge you for parking per day but our access card did not work the entire weekend. We had to press the service button to be let every time and we got stuck out there one time when no one was at the front desk. When we let the front desk know, she did not help fix the problem she just said get a ticket and the gate will open, but that did not help we we needed to exit.

The first time I went into the shower, it stopped mid bathing while there was shampoo in my hair. Come down to the front desk was able to get into a different room. Had to pack up everything and move with shampoo in my hair to the other room. When we moved to the other room it was 83° in there, and it smelled very bad. Called down to the front desk had to go back down a second time to get a different key for another room which I am appreciative we were able to move rooms due to the two inconveniences. The third room the bathroom light when you turned it on, proceeded to flicker repeatedly and there’s no way we could’ve used the light like that. It hurt all of our heads . Then we called down to the desk and had to go down a third time to get a different room key again appreciative that they moved us to a different room where I was able to finally finish washing the shampoo out of my hair and very disappointed in this hotel . My son dropped a napkin when he was getting his breakfast and did not notice. The lady who was taking care of the breakfast, noticed the napkin and got upset and made hand gestures and grunting about the napkin being on the floor after she cleaned that area when my son arrived to the table, I was at. I proceeded to let him know that he dropped a napkin and he turned around and picked it up and threw it away, I could not believe the behavior of the employee . The swimming pool was also very green and smelled very bad. I have a video of the bathroom light that was flickering repeatedly, but I am unable to Upload it here.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and couldn't have been happier. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed. The pool and hot tub where always clean and very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious, eggs, meat, waffles, yourgart, fruit, toast, bagels and cereal. We highly recommend and we will stay here again, if ever down here again.
