Wyndham Corpus Christi Resort North Padre Island

The location is amazing right on the beach! Joan was so sweet & helpful. The floors were so dirty & water pressure was not good at all in the shower. You have to pay for breakfast which used to be free & everything was closed.. there pool & restaurant. But very nice place

No hot water , they had a party downstairs and there was no notice when we booked hotel. Had to wait 2 hours to park out truck because the parking lot was full of NONE guests. We will never stay here again.

The shower and sink water temperature controls seemed backwards from the labels. The room thermostats seemed inactive. The ocean room view was amazing.

The hotel is being in repairs for a long time,is the same elevator that doesn’t work still the same. The service at the restaurant was good,food ok,they run out of toast for breakfast. The place is quiet I love that and so close to the beach is great. My room big,the bathroom big nice and clean. I will go back again

I will start by saying this hotel has had more than one owner in the past 2 or 3 years. Turnover like that is not good for any business. It has Wyndham on the wall but it is a long way from being up to the standard of a Wyndham hotel. To be fair, there has been some storm damage in the area in recent years, but that is no excuse for this hotel. The choices for hotels in the area with an ocean view are few. The list of problems with the room and the hotel was long. The exterior door to the balcony was damaged and would not close/lock properly. Barn door style bathroom door was a poor choice and the cheap hook lock was something you would find in a hardware store for a gate. The bathroom electrical outlet was wired wrong to the light switch. No power if the switch is off. One or two of the three elevators were not working at any given time. Restaurant and bar were closed during the week but breakfast was available at extra cost. For the second morning we bought frozen breakfast food at Walmart and cooked it in the room. Its possible they will get most of the problems fixed by the time spring break happens. But I have my doubts. The other issue for tourists is the limited choices for dining in the area. Most people drive over the bridge back into Corpus Christi.

I absolutely LOVE this place!! It's so nice!! The bar and the restaurant were amazing! The staff is helpful and amazing!

This place is NASTY!! Extremely dirty, broken glass all over pool and hot tub area. I will NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone! I did not hear nothing but horrible issues from other guests there as well. I have no clue how this place is even still open?!? For what they charge for their rooms and for what you get-IT IS A HUGE WASTE OF MONEY!!! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY SOME PLACE ELSE!!!! The staff was friendly BUT LIED TO US ON SEVERAL THINGS, then when caught in their lies, they just lied some more and pushed the blame on other hotel employees... This hotel was the WORST part of our trip!!

Everyone at the front desk was nice except for one woman. Which is fine, I can ignore her. The place for the most part was great except for the construction by the elevator and I could not see out my window. There was a white film on the outside that needs to be wiped down. And there was always water on the floor in the elevator probably from the people getting out the pool. But I almost slipped twice.

Pros: Location Comfy beds Cons: Cleanliness isn't great ELEVATORS! Awful. No posting of last inspection. I was truly afraid it was going to break and we'd plummet down. Really dirty inside.
