Booked a room for two days to watch the fireworks display on Ocean Drive. For $350 a night, the room had no refrigerator, no toothpaste, poor amenities. And we had roaches visibly crawling on the walls at times. The view was amazing, the restaurants in the hotel were OK. But pretty much never going to use this hotel again

Comments: The front desk of the hotel is friendly and has its own parking building. The 2F can be directly connected to the lobby, and the flow line is reasonable. The room's sanitary conditions are good. You can see the aircraft carrier Lexington from the balcony. The straight-line distance is 5KM. The Denan Art Museum designed by Philip Johnson is within walking distance. It is recommended to stay!
Room Tip: It is recommended to choose a high-rise sea view room without a balcony, which can overlook the Gulf of Mexico from the front. The rooms with balconies are all facing the sea sideways, and the location is not ideal.

We have stayed here a number of times through the years, so we thought we knew what to expect this trip. Even though we were here on a quick trip for a family funeral, we thought we could enjoy a comfortable stay with a beautiful bay view. Well, the view did not disappoint, but almost every thing else Omni did. We checked in on Sun afternoon (1/28) to sounds of jack hammers. We were NOT informed that the hotel was under construction! When we made it to our room - nice corner room on the 8th floor with a lovely bay view that we paid extra to enjoy - all we heard until way after midnight was motorcycles drag racing up and down Shoreline Dr! The regular traffic sounds which were ALL night long could have been driving right through our room they were so loud. We got NO sleep because of it and had to be up early for the funeral and then a long drive back to Houston. We feel this is unacceptable and when the desk clerk inquired about our stay, I told him all of the above. We were not offered any compensation for our suffering, only a "sorry"! Very disappointed all the way around with this Omni stay!!

Check in was very slow, one clerk with another clerk at front that seemed to be handling sales and marketing. Not supporting the other clerk. The room was clean and comfortable with a great bed and linens. You just melt into it, a great night's sleep. The restroom was a bit worn and not to standards of other OMNI Hotels. Wallpaper in guestroom had noticeable patch work done that didn't blend in. Wallpaper is dated and worn in some areas.
Drapes as well. Not as inviting as other OMNI's.
Wanted to try the steakhouse as I have enjoyed in past but met friends elsewhere, Will do so next time!

The Omni experience was very friendly and clean. I can start from me pulling up to the entrance doors all the way to me checking out, as far as customer service to comfort. Highly recommend and I will be back for Spring Break. Much Love Omni In Corpus Christi

The view . The young woman who checked us in was beyond polite. Very informative. She let us know about the live band that was playing on the night of stay. Informed us about the restaurant and other local amenities. When we seen her the next day , she greeted us in the same manner. Friendly, definitely made the stay welcoming. Will stay again solely based off her personality.
